This is the first time in a long time I actually get what I asked for. The salon was clean and the staff was friendly.

Likes:
— someone working at the front desk as opposed to all the hair stylists doing it like in other places.
— the lady did a great job on my hair and listened to my needs
— no wait time even on a Saturday afternoon
Dislikes:
— the lady immediately spoke to me in Spanish. Not unusual because it’s Miami, but English is always the safe bet. Even when I spoke back to her in English, she continued in Spanish. Not until I asked, «do you speak English?» did she stop. It scares me to think that the lady cutting my hair might not understand me. English first people, we are in Pinecrest.

There’s that Miami customer service and professionalism we all know and love. I roll up at 8:45, knowing that this place closes at 9.
Sorry, door locked. Did they come open it for me? Of course not. Even though I freakin’ come here once a month or so.
So, I had to walk over to the Hair Cuttery and get scalped like a old-​time frontiersman who met the wrong bunch of Comanches on his way west. Thanks a lot.
