STAYAWAY! Unfortunately, the service here is terrible whether you order delivery or in store. Delivery is ETERNAL and in store, I got reprimanded for taking a dish back twice for it being too spicy. They lost some very loyal customers! The tuna tartare is great but not good enough to outweigh the subpar treatment. NEVERAGAIN

Someone I don’t know if it was an employee or a customer used my credit card to purse nearkly on hundred dollars worth of food on June, 14 and I never go to Miami and I was using my card around th same time at a pharmacy in north broward. I have my card so this place allowed the person to either order the food with just the number and in card or identificaion or come to the restaurant and do that or do that or was it a inside job where a worker accepted the credit card number without seeing the actual card, I have made a police report. And we’ll see how much privacy this company followers procedures in there security

Great food!, but the service was extremely rushed. I came in at 11:30 pm they close at 12pm. The server says we are closing soon. No respect. — the manager apologized in a fake manner. I give it thumbs down but I will be back for the sushi chef !!!

I mean, for late night munchies this is probably a good spot compared to its neighbors, McDonald’s. I usually get the special fried rice here to remind me of Samurais deliciousness and unfortunately it doesn’t compare. The flavor is great but they barely put protein so it feels like a rip off and that’s considering I get the«special» fried rice which has chicken, steak, shrimp and vegetables. This location has parking right in the front and up to now, my boyfriend and I usually find a spot right away. We usually get sat promptly and provided decent service. Just add more protein to your fried rice!

I always eat good at this Sushi Sake location. Yesterday I came with my girlfriend and a group of her friends, and I enjoyed my meal very much. I ordered a Rainbow Roll with cream cheese and my girlfriend ordered a Special Fried Rice. My Rainbow Roll was delicious. The sushi tasted very fresh and had great flavor. I also tried some of my girlfriends fried rice and it extremely good. I kinda wanted it all for myself, but she would’ve probably been slightly upset if I were to eat all her food. I honestly can’t remember how good the service was, since I was a tad bit inebriated, but if it would’ve been bad I would’ve probably remembered. Parking wasn’t an issue this time since I took an Über here, but it did seem a bit restricted. As a suggestion, you may want to find parking in surrounding locations. In short, good food and good service… I think. 4 out of 5 stars!

Food is Great but service is always slow. I would love to give them five stars but unfortunately they need to work on their service.

First and last time! Service was slow even though the place was empty. Staff not friendly at all. Waitresses too busy listening to the too loud Reggaeton. Tuna tataki portion was smallest I’ve seen in the 30 years I’ve been enjoying Japanese food. The cucumbers in the salad were not fresh. Definitely will not go back and I live two blocks away. HUGE disappointment!

This is some of my absolute most favorite sushi in Miami. Today I dined in for lunch. Unbeknownst to me, they have lunch specials — YES! And let me tell you, quite a number of specials. This was my first time eating in. It wasn’t packed, which I attribute to the location on 8th street. Sadly not close enough to walk from Brickell for lunch. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean with lots of seating options. Both my server and the hostess were very friendly. I was seated immediately and my server came to my table very quick. I didn’t wait for anything throughout lunch. I ordered my fave — the Miami Heat Roll(Shrimp Tempura, Cream Cheese, Krab Salad, Topped with Baked Salmon, Spicy Mayo & Topped with Crunch Served with Eel Sauce) — and the spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna roll could have had a little more heat to it, but a side of spicy mayo helped that. The Miami Heat roll was again made to perfection. I was completely happy with my dine-in experience. My fiancé and I usually order for delivery, and it’s always been delivered within the time frame estimated, and our orders have never been messed up in anyway. Other dishes to try: Special fried rice, and the shrimp gyoza. Bottom line: if you’re in need of a go-to sushi place in the Brickell area, this is your place. PS — some will balk at the price. fine. do it. but the fish is ALWAYS fresh and it’s completely worth the price.

So my boyfriend and I just finished dining here… My review is strictly based on the food. We had a dragon roll and we added cream cheese to it, it was tasty. We have no complaints regarding that. We also ordered steak fried rice. The rice was hard and there was barely any steak in it. It was tiny little pieces. We were very disappointed and didn’t eat much of it.

This place is a joke. You would think you entered a teenage club loud rap music playing. staff a bunch of young incompetent kids who have no idea what customer service is. Such a shame. Clearly explains why it was so empty on a Friday night. Where is management???

The hibachi shrimp is a rip off. For 12 $ I expected seven juicy JUMBO shrimps but alas the tiniest shrimp of the sea. The rice is tad too greasy but still yummy. The Miami Heat roll is my personal fave.

By far this place has the best sushi. I’ve been coming here for 2 years. Customer service is ok. My only problem is the place could be empty and they don’t like to give the booths. They seem to act as if there is a party coming up so they need the booths available. Which is an obvious lie. But other than that I recommend this place for sushi.

If you love dimmed lighting, great music, and yummy sushi, this is the place for you. I love the vibe of this sushi spot because it’s Asian infused with a modern touch of glam décor. It’s perfect for a romantic date night or a dinner with a group of girlfriends. * parking is free * you get a large serving of sushi about 11 $ for 10. * service /hospitality is top notch If you love sushi with a hint of crunch I suggest getting the spider rolls. It has crunchy crab in it and a hint of eel sauce makes it even tastier. Also, our waiter Yassin was so sweet and personable. He really does a great job at making guests feel taken care of! Thank you everyone at sushi sake :)

Sushiiiii!!! So a good friend of mine and I decided to take our friend from out of town to a «cool» place for dinner. Sushi sake was the spot this time. It was pretty empty this time around though, about 6pm(sorry friend) but our hostess and waitress were pleasant to the eye so he was happy about that. We were shown to our table promptly and handed off to our waitress Kassandra. We were all starving so we ordered as soon as we sat down. We decided we would all share our plates of food so we all got sushi rolls. I got a Miami Heat roll which kinda disappointed me since the waitress hyped it up so much :(my friend angel got a «Angel roll» very fitting might I add. The last sushi roll we got was a spicy tuna roll which was my favorite. I guess the«raw» rolls are made better here(more authentic) In regards to this being a cool place to eat. Well the ambience was cool, music was playing in the background, this sushi sake is located in brickell so it’s a nice area to walk around after. Our waitress was probably the best thing about my experience at sushi sake. She was always ready to help us with anything we needed, friendly, and engaging(hard to find people like that in Miami) so if you guys go to this location ask for Kassandra(she has a yingyang tattoo on her right hand) lol

So… Called to make my pick up order and that took 15 mins because the guy didn’t know what was on the menu. Kept asking me to hold on to check. I asked for sushi and he kept saying sashimi like he wasn’t listening. I ask for someone else Another lady comes on and she seems to have a higher IQ and I ask if the shrimp sushi is raw or cooked., she says raw, exactly what I wanted. I ask for a side of siracha. Repeats my order. I correct it again and I’m told 20 mins to pick up. 38 mins later I arrive… My take out is not ready. Lady that accepts payment is super sweet and hands me the food. Get in car… shrimp is cooked to the point it’s dry, siracha is clearly mixed with soy sauce, sushi pieces are small and my kani su(rice less roll with vinegar sauce) looks like a hot mess… Paid $ 35… About double what it’s worth. It’s the 3rd time I’ve tried this place and last disappointment. I had to share this with the public. Worst trained staff ever! Clear the owners and managers are not enforcing customer service standards. Positives? The homemade lemonade was good and I didn’t get sick. Fish seems fresh

No como mariscos ninguno… Pero llegar a un restaurant donde abunda el marisco para complacer a tu pareja y que alla variedad de comida sin mariscos y con buen sabor es algo increible. Muy rico todo. Me encantó.

I live within walking distance of this place so I’ve given it a chance a few times. The food is decent but the service always sucks! Def avoid this place for dinner or any special occasions. It takes forever to even be greeted by anyone. Once I waited 20 minutes. When you eventually do get a server the food does come out pretty fast. I’ve had the calamari, miso soup, Ramen soup, vegetable roll, and dynamite roll which are all pretty good. Come here for a basic simple lunch.

This is now one of my new favorite Sushi restaurants. The fish is fresh, the prices are reasonable, the service was great and the ambiance is also really nice. I also love the fact that they are open until 5am. One of the first items that we ordered was the Bobby Salad which is a mixed combination of diced tuna, avocado, and crab salad. This was recommended by our server and probably one of the best items on the menu. Everything we ordered from the fresh sashimi to the different rolls that we tried was delicious. They also have a really nice sake selection. If you are looking for a late night dining experience without being rushed then this is a great place to go. It has similarities in comparison to Moshi Moshi on South Beach with late night dining hours, but I think this place is definitely a much nicer restaurant with a Tokyo Blue vibe.

Highly disappointed. This was during a Wednesday Night after a Miami Heat game. I was walked in and sat at a table for 30 minutes being completely ignored and not even brought a glass of water. During this wait, my date and I tried to get the waiters and waitresses attention but no one bat an eye. We even got up to use the bathroom. Nothing. At first we thought we were being patient but there wasn’t that many people in there. Finally, I gave up waiting and just stood up. We proceeded to the front door where a waiter stopped us from walking out and said, «has anyone taken your order?» ha, I told him we had gotten there more then 30 minutes ago and no one even offered us water. We actually lost our appetite waiting. On the bright side, the decoration looked nice and they showed music videos that kept us slightly entertained. I didn’t try the food, but I give it 2 stars because the bathroom was clean.

What an unexpectedly delightful joy it was to dine here! While looking for a simple sake joint, we chanced a visit to the Sushi Sake. We were met with incredible grace and were swiftly ushered to our table. The décor in here is POPPIN’! Bright red lights everywhere engender a colorful interior with sushi masters crafting their treasure near a display case for everyone to see. Quality Miami style DJ’ing roused us to order more sake than we initially intended. Before I could even begin to grasp the entirety of this sushi wonderland, our Grade-A waitress, Christine, warmly welcomed us with an effervescent smile and helped us navigate the menu. Hot Sake, Aladdin Nigiri Sake, and a Sapporo beer started us off just right. Careful not to obnoxiously disturb our dining counterparts, we casually practiced a graceful sake bomb and reveled in merriment at our wondrous discovery of the Sushi Sake! Dragon Sushi roll, eel roll, and spicy tuna were among the table favorites, but it’s the unparalleled service and unique eastern yet totally Miami filled atmosphere that help seal the deal at this place. …mwah! Kisses to the cook(and our perfectly hospitable waitress, Christine)!
