I’m not sure why there seem to be two separate listings for this store. I stumbled upon this kiosk as I was leaving the Apple store at Dadeland with my new iPad Air. I’d bought it with T-Mobile capability even though we had ATT service, since I’d heard that it could be used for either T-Mobile or ATT, whereas the ATT capable ones aren’t so versatile. My sister in Texas had already been telling me how much better T-Mobile had become than ATT, particularly for those traveling abroad. Without making a decision, I spoke with Sam(Samantha), who was very helpful, but I had lingering worries about coverage. After some research, I returned and switched our family plan. I’m sure others at the kiosk are as helpful, but the help Sam gave me was truly great. She set everything up, providing me with SIM cards, so that with each device we connect I just call her, and a few minutes later the phone number has been switched to T-Mobile(there’s a period, which she cautions could be 24 hr, but has never been more than 10 min. in our experience, that the phone has a temporary phone number, so it can still be used). The kiosk was well-stocked with everything I needed. I upgraded my iPhone without a contract for a fraction of what I thought I’d have to pay, and when I told her that with both ATT and T-Mobile I’d not had good reception in our house, she suggested a free hotspot device offered by T-Mobile(in stock in the kiosk) that now gives me far better reception than I ever had with ATT. The kiosk is located inside the south central entrance to the mall. That entrance is where there’s a fountain, a 10 minute walk from the Dadeland South Metrorail station. [Just an added note about T-Mobile after a month of use: I’d heard its coverage might be more limited than ATT, but my experience is that I can now get reception in places I never could before. Hats off to T-Mobile!]
