Every time I attend a race or CrossFit event in Miami I’m delighted to see this food truck present! They have some of the best paleo friendly meals I’ve ever had and their entire menu is completely health conscious but still super delicious for us foodies. Toting their grass fed bison, venison, and beef plus vegetarian options and even fresh fish such as, salmon and mahi mahi… they should definitely open a restaurant location ASAP! Any of their meat entrees have the option to be served on a bun(whole grain of course) or over grilled veggies which is actually very delicious; I promise you won’t miss the bread! I’ve had their bison sliders before, as well as, the chicken sandwich and would definitely get both options again! On this particular occasion I attended the Battlefrog event in Miami with a group of friends. We were planning on going out to eat as a group afterward but I needed something to hold me over until then. I was delighted to see they had smoothie options which I didn’t know they had until now. I was going to do the regular make your own smoothie option but saw their ‘Schott of Green’ smoothie listed on the menu. I’m a weirdo and will drink anything green and I haven’t had a smoothie with spirulina in quite some time. I love spirulina because of the amazing health benefits and if you haven’t had a smoothie with it, try it! All their smoothies are made with coconut milk but since I’m not exactly a fan of coconut I asked for it to be made with almond milk instead and they were happy to oblige. The smoothie was so incredibly fresh and served cold! If you see The Health Nut On Wheels food truck give them a try! You won’t be disappointed!

This truck parks almost every Wednesday at Crossfit Lux Box in Coral Gables across the street from many businesses in the Douglas Entrance building. I’ve had the chicken on a bun, and the Turkey and Veggie patty on Veggie. My friends have had the Salmon on Veggie and a few different smothies. Except for the Octane coffee which I don’t prefer everything is Sooooo Good! Great for anyone on a Paleo/Vegetarian diet or just wanting to eat TASTY yummy food

The Health Nut food truck was avaible right outside of the Escape to Miami triathlon. I ordered the veggie burger over roasted veggies & sweet potato fries. The roasted veggies were fresh & flavorful with broccoli zucchini & spinach, spring mix, lettuce. The burger was blackbean & sweet potato partty it had that rich smoked BBQ flavor. The customer service was by far the best. The owner was very helpful with my choosing vegan & didn’t mind describing the menu in detail. The owner & his mother(I’m assuming) were all smiles. I was so thankful to have their food & service after the exhausting event.

We had our first experience with The Health Nut on Wheels at the Palmetto Bay Food Truck Invasion last night. As a whole, my family is pretty conscientious of what we eat, and in a sea of fried oreos and other fried delicacies, I was relieved to find this healthy option. THNOW deals with grass fed bison and venison, while the the Salmon and Mahi are wild caught. Greens are local and drinks are homemade. My husband had the venison patty and he says it did not taste gamey at all. For those on the Paleo diet, you can get the patty on a bed of cooked and raw vegetables. I had the bison sliders. Each slider is about 2.5 oz. which I shared. The sliders has a very flavorful guacamole on them, it was quite satisfying. We were at the food truck invasion a while, so we also tried their smoothies/shakes. I had a tasty shake called a Schott of Green which had cava, spirulina, almonds and chlorella. Another refreshing drink we tried was the ginger lemonade. It isn’t too sweet but it is tangy due to the ginger. Too spicy for our kids, they didnt like it. My husband and I really enjoyed it in the heat, however. I look forward to trying the salmon on the menu, I saw someone else order it and it looked massive!

Eating delicious grain free, grass fed, organic meats and vegetables is so easy to do when The Healthnut delivers your lunch(and dinner too if you like). It’s easy to eat Paleo, Whole 30, low-carb, grain free and the food tastes better than anything I could buy near my house and that includes Publix and Winn Dixie. I love the salmon, the sliders, the roasted and grilled veggies. Best choice I ever made was having The Healthnut on Wheels deliver my delicious lunch to my office!
