Delicious Cuban sandwich and quick service. I’d had given it more stars, but the frozen drink I had was so diluted I didn’t even taste he liquor, or get any slight buzz from it. I’m guessing there was not even a full shot in the pint glass of slush… and this was $ 12. I recommend getting a beer so they can’t stiff you on the alcohol.

It was perfect for what it is. Awesome service. Great view of the marina. Heated lamps. Grouper sandwich was huge and $ 15. 5 of us all had good meals.

Second visit. The mojito is awesome. Really enjoyed the Mahi-mahi fingers and peel & eat shrimp. Good happy hour deal.

Salads were really good. We sat outside watching boats, but having a bird poop in my sons hair lost my appetite!

First time here but based on this visit this is a place I would return to when in Bayside. Wait time at Chillis was at least 30 minutes and no wait time here, so choice was clear considering we had 5 kids with us. We sat right away and got a server soon after… guy I his 20’s, attentive and memorized all our orders without making a mistake. Ordered some beers and food which we got relatively fast. Tried the burgers, sliders, wings, calamari and Caesar salad… all good. The kids’ meals looked great, spaghetti and Mac n cheese(not the kind from the box so I was very pleased). I liked the view but made sure not to sit by anybody who smoked, downside to seating outside at this place.

Went for lunch and really liked the chicken sandwich. Their frozen drinks were also very good. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good quick lunch.

Sitting here now… the Ceviche was not good. Half the cup was soaked lettuce. My husband had to replace his warm coleslaw for potato salad. In all not an impressive restaurant if you want good seafood… quite mediocre in all areas. Sitting next to the water and cool breeze makes up for that.

Got a burger for lunch, pretty bad, especially for $ 13. Burger is from frozen patty. Not seasoned at all. Cooked rare when I asked for medium. No flavor and just bad. I do not recommend this place. Fries were frozen too.

Sat down because the menu sounded good. Service was extra crappy and slow. Food was delicious once it finally came out. Wouldn’t come here again though.

Stopped in for a snack and drink before a concert. We got our food before our drinks. We had the calamari and it was soggy and not good. Service was painfully slow to where I had to wait to pay the bill while the rest of my family went in the concert.

Great location in the harbour in Downtown Miami. You have a great overview over the harbour with all the ships come and go. The staff is very friendly, but the shorts of the girls are too short… The food is good. We both had a salad. I had the Ceaser with extra chicken. The chicken was a bit to dry but the taste of the salad was good. For the beer lovers: you can get your own beer draught at you table here. Nice to to with you friends!

Pretty much every place at Bayside is tourist trap food, tourist trap prices and tourist trap service. This place was the same except for the service, which was just average. We were ignored at first, but then finally seated. Our server was good at first and then got worse at the end. She was very nice though. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, my wife got the crab cake sandwich and my daughter got the kid’s fisk fingers. The Cuban was rather chintsy on the meat compared with most any other Cuban. For half the price I could have gotten twice the meat at Palacio de los Jugos. The crab cake sandwich had good flavors, but the cakes were very mushy, which was off putting. The sandwiches were $ 14 and $ 12 respectively. The ambiance is the main thing going for this place, which overlooks the marina.

Service was decent on a warm Monday morning as I met some Navy buddies for brunch before they left on a cruise. Pretty basic bar, zero craft beer other than Blue Moon and Sam Adams which everyone carries. And for Bayside, that’s just unacceptable, so minus one star. Other than that, it was a good experience, nothing exciting here, so minus another. Pretty average place. Move along, nothing to see here unless you happen to already be at Bayside.

Very good. Had a quick lunch here yesterday right before going on a 4:30pm Biscayne Lady Cruise. The service was attentive and quick. We let them know we only had a short time and they made it happen.

We ordered the Lobster Paella as we really wanted some sort of Seafood! Pretty good dish and a decent size for about 3 people or so, but was a bit too salty for our liking . Service is OK

I came here because I had a 10% discount ticket, I didn´t have a very high expectation since this is the typical place for tourist, but the food was not really bad, and prices not too high for what they have. They have several tables so it‘s easy to seat down outside. My choice was a fish sandwich(grilled grouper sandwich) and it was good, but the sandwich was made without care, with two sad tomato slices and two sad lettuce leaves falling in the side… cole slaw was too saucy for my taste(almost swimming in the mayonnaise). The fish was big, taste was not bad, but not the best I have tried. Service is nice and they are very fast and always close. Just OK if you pass by and don´t know where to have lunch.

I am a Miami native and had family visiting from Holland. The goal was for them to try the best paella in the city and they did not disappoint me. There were four of us and we all had different entrees and they all were delicious! So much so I took them back the next day. Great food, great view, great experience.

I had higher expectations for this place since Miami should have banging seafood. We ordered the crab cakes and seafood sampler for 2. Crab cakes were good as well as the seafood sampler but definitely not worth what we paid. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. The service was weird… Had random servers each time. First problem we had a menu missing a page and told our first waiter who came back and never gave us a new menu. Then had 5 different waiters serve our food, ask how our food was(4 times within 10 min), and another give our check. The check was even worse, he told us to put a star next to the percent tip that rated how well the service was(18%=bad, 20%= good, 25%=very good) 18% for shitty service was way too much… We felt obligated since he stood by as we picked bad… Overall this place is not worth it.

Wow Bayside is still open? Honestly I haven’t been here in probably about 10 years but decided to stop by for some grub/drinks before a Heat playoff game on Saturday. Obviously all the restaurants in bayside are tourist traps but lo and behold I was surprised to find a decently rated place on Unilocal! All of the restaurants at Bayside have one thing in common — amazing views. However in my experience the food and service have always been sub-par. Unbelievably the food at Tradewinds is pretty damn good. There is a pretty good selection here ranging from typical bar fare to crab legs. We had the grouper sandwich and the hangover burger. While both were good the star of the show was definitely the burger. The«Hangover Burger» contains 10 oz’s of fresh angus, sautéed peppers & onions, bacon, american cheese, bbq sauce & topped with a sunnyside up egg. It’s hard to screw up a burger with a fried egg on top but I’ve seen it done. Surprisingly the patty was perfectly cooked — juicy medium rare and was seasoned and tasty. It’s a fairly large burger and the toppings really bring the taste over the top. The fries here are also very good. Very pleasantly surprised to find a decent place at Bayside — will definitely come back here for another Heat game!
