I couldn’t be happier with the quick and inexpensive replacement of my watch battery in this shop. They sell a wide range of brands of watches and appear to do an excellent business. In the 5 or 10 minutes I was waiting for the new battery, there were 3 or 4 different groups that arrived to buy watches, with enough salespeople and plenty of space to accommodate them all. They also sell sunglasses of all sorts. I snapped a panorama of the place with my iPhone just before 4 people walked into the store.
The manager, Ali, hadn’t heard of Unilocal.He explained that his store (on 1^st Av.) has a smaller branch on Flagler (see other listing), but that his does more complicated repairs of watches, including watch crystal replacement. The price he quoted was $ 8 for the new battery on my Seiko, which his technician cleaned nicely as well. It’s great to have a working watch again!
