Friendly’s

I am forced to come here for lunch when visiting my wife’s grandmother. Every time, they take something away. Ice cream flavors, dessert menus from the tables. The only reason they seem to keep coming here is my grandmother-​in-​law likes the senior menu.

Closest Friendly’s to my house. Every time I have ever come here. I’ve had great service and great food every time I’ve come here. Even if they are closing some restaurants, the staff is always on top of everything. I’ve always ordered salads or wraps here. I rarely order anything that I haven’t tried here before, and I rarely order anything «new» on their menu. With Friendly’s I always stick to what I know because it’s been perfected.

If i could give negative stars i would. Ive never been treated like more of a piece of garbage then this friendlys. Treated me like a criminal because i wanted to change my order. And the staff have no urgency to help you. And you can tell no one cares about working there. Probabally worst experience ive ever had eating.

Service BEYOND slow. Cold, spoiled soup, barely cooked fries, sloppy, tasteless burgers. They even managed to screw up the ice cream, the sundaes came out like &%!$. I grew up on Friendlys and it was always better than this. Sad how far they have fallen. Worst meal I have had in a while.

A miserable experience every time i go. I am a fool for returning. The dining room os always filthy. The service is always slow. The Teenage staff is not at all attentive and the managers are obvious. Today there was four staffers standing around doing nothing while my cashier struggled with the POS system. He asked for help and was rebuffed by the do nothings. I wont be back.

How can you go wrong with Friendly’s? Love it. Great service and delicious food. Wish it was a little healthier. The calorie counts on the menu don’t really make you feel great but who cares, It tastes Amazing. Maybe would be better if the had some more health offerings.

I went here recently to get some ice cream to go. I was greeted by a very friendly woman. She took my order and got me out in a reasonable amount of time. I am glad this place is still around. So many are closing, I hope this one stays around for a while.

Ordered over the phone for pick up. First off all they need to ups at their system. Could not take credit card over the phone. I wasn’t picking it up someone else was for me. Next order was incorrect and order taker did not have good knowledge of the menu. Lastly I ordered the chipolte chicken supermelt. It’s good however needs more sauce.

Just got home from a incredible dinner at this Friendly’s on the way home from shopping. As I entered the restaurant there were several signs stating ½ price apps 8pm to close. I looked at the time and was disappointed that it was only 7:33pm. We were seated by 7:35pm and given menus. Our table was set but dirty. We were sat at one of two booths in the back corner by the kitchen next to 4 square tables pushed together to accommodate a party of 8. A few minutes later another two top were sitting at the booth next to ours. That booth ordered and received coffees, salads and soup before we were asked if we were ready to order at 7:53pm! I told the waitress that we were definitely ready to order since we’d been there for nearly 20 mins. She was very friendly and apologized. She said that she wasn’t aware we’d been seated (meanwhile had traveled back and forth to our neighboring booth, directly next to us, no less than 5 times). We ordered buffalo chicken strips to share as an app, my bf ordered the munchie mania as an entrée and I got a burger and waffle fries. She didn’t write it down at first, interrupted my bf as he was ordering trying to ‘guess’ which apps he was going to choose in the munchie mania. She then decided to write it all down and we had to repeat our order. I asked that she bring a rag to the table to clean and was assured she would be right back with the rag and our drinks. Ten mins later we get our drinks. 5 mins after that she remembers the rag. A few mins later she brings my bf’s munchie mania and says my buffalo strips will be out in a few more minutes. 5 mins later the Buffalo strips are delivered. Just as I was finishing them a few mins later my burger arrived, with regular french fries even though I’d ordered waffle. I filled up on the chicken so I asked for a to go box to bring the burger and fries home. She asks us if we’d like ice cream, we both said we’re stuffed. She then asked if we’d want dessert if she offered us a great discount. I replied that we were set and ready for the check. She brings the check. I was thinking since we weren’t even served drinks until after 8pm she’d give us half price app on the chicken strips especially considering the wait but sadly, no. She takes my card, another 5 mins go by before she returns and tells us all about this survey we can fill out to receive $ 5 off our next visit. She was overly friendly trying to make up for shitty service and receive a decent tip (didn’t work). We pulled out of the parking lot at 8:34pm. A HOUR after we’d arrived. This place is ridiculous. The waitress was definitely friendly but I’d rather pay for good service that friendly shitty service.

No wonder place is going out business, costumer service is absolutely the worst. A couple days ago took my daughter to lunch there and the waiter sat me in a booth that was dirty I had to ask him to clean it and he end up leaving the dust pan right next to the table.
Today I just went to get ice cream and the place completely empty on a Sunday night a 7pm, still took them 20 minutes to make it because they were too busy flirting with each other and going out smoking.
The reason I go there it’s because it’s walking distance for me but for now on I’ll take the drive to carvel

This place was all around AWFUL. When we walked in, both the young man at the host station and the young woman behind the ice cream counter were extremely rude to my sister. She went in ahead of us, and I witnessed each of them give her disgusted looks, as though she had inconvenienced them greatly by interrupting their personal conversation.
After we were seated, I noted that the entire restaurant was very busy, and our waitress had a full section, so I did take that into account. However, I was very disappointed that we waited nearly twenty minutes for her to take our order, and when our food finally came (we were a party of five), half of it was wrong. Additionally, when our check came, it was wrong by a couple dollars, but my boyfriend was so fed up that he did not want to wait for our waitress to get around to fixing it, and he just paid it so we could leave.
As I said before, our waitress did have a VERY busy section, so all of the above would have been forgivable IF I had seen the waitress busy with her other tables. However, I think that in the entire hour and a half we were there, I only saw her in her section four times. If she wasn’t messing up because she was so busy with her multiple tables, then what was she doing all that time and why was she messing up so much?!
I’ve heard that the Friendly’s in Coram is excellent, so I will be visiting there instead next time I am in New York.

Terrible service, will never be attending this restaurant again. The restaurant manager on duty wasn’t helpful at all when I told her my order was all wrong, she basically apologized and did not get me the dish that I had originally asked for. My previous review was deleted so I will let my fellow restaurant goers know not to attend this establishment.

Went here last night for dinner told it would be 10 to 15 minutes wait to be seated there was a group of 9 then a family of 3 before us. There were 5 empty tables two of them near each other. The group got seated after we were there for 5 minutes. About another 10 minutes go by there are still 3 empty tables and the family of 3 and us are still waiting. a another group of 10 walk in they get told 25 minutes wait. now we have been waiting 20 minutes and the group of 10 get seated before us. get told cause they’re a bigger group that’s why they are getting seated first. Not going to be going back any time soon

Awesome friendlys and I’ve been to many… Always clean, with a clean cut staff.
