Sweets of the Spoon Caffe. While decent, I wouldn’t rush back; yes, I liked what I had, to an extent, it was alright, good pumpkin Ice cream and an alright pannini however, it took 20 minutes to make and I was the only customer. Two very young kids manning the fort, no owner or manager on site. Kind of cute, odd set-up, thumbs up though… I guess

The ice cream and food is delicious. They receive a solid 4 stars for quality. However, fresh ingredients and made to order which is nice, but the 20 minute wait makes it so I can’t just stop in quickly. I also don’t like their hours of operation. How is an ice cream shop closed on sundays? I guess they don’t really need the business? I would like to see this place remain a mainstay in Rocky Point. It is charming and clean but I would like to see the owner revise her hours and find a way to get food out the door in a more timely fashion. 20 minutes for a drink and wrap is a bit excessive. I have waited this long on at least 5 occasions.

I love their ice cream it’s so creamy best i ever had! It should get 6 stars i was just there and got food for the first time and I saw soup and a grilled cheese sandwich with ice tea for 5 $!!! What then I saw that it was only until 2:30 pm and it was after that but the great woman behind the counter told me she would do it for me even though it was much after 2:30! Never disappointed

Good ice cream and gelato. Didn’t try the other food. Girl who worked there was super nice and friendly. Great specials every day of the week too!

We love to come here for ice cream. The favors are unique and delicious, we don’t have to fight for a table and the prices are reasonable!

Went here this evening for some ice cream. I usually don’t eat full fat ice cream so their creamy, homemade ice cream is always the perfect treat to satisfy that craving. You can definitely tell the ice cream is made on premises as it just tastes fresh. I had birthday cake, red velvet cake, and cookie dough with chocolate syrup and rainbow sprinkles. Just delicious! I’ve also been here for lunch and have had their caprese and bella roma paninis as well as their mango tango wrap. The paninis have the best ciabatta bread I’ve ever had. I’ve had better paninis but they’re not bad either. The mango tango wrap is also delicious and the ingredients taste so fresh. When ordering a sandwich too you get the choice of either a tiny little side salad, pasta salad, an apple, or chips. I usually go with the pasta salad which is surprisingly good. Their sandwiches are tasty, nothing spectacular, but it’s one of the better cheap lunch places in town and definitely the best ice cream place in town.

this place really deserves a solid 3.5 stars. the ice cream is made on the premises so they get special acknowledgement for that. the young guy behind the counter was really helpful and friendly. the gelato selections looked a little underwhelming a few of them looked absolutely liquified. the ice cream isn’t well labeled so it’s hard to figure out what is what. had the chocolate peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter topping. very creamy. overall the place is decent, great ice cream but place needs a twice over cleaning as almost all the glass and surfaces are smudgy. B+. work in progress.

I’m not sure what A-OK means for Unilocal.I think its original meaning was something like«running perfectly», which this was not, but it was certainly better than just«okay.» I had a panini with sliced apples, bacon, and cheddar, which was marginally melted. Still it was a welcome alternative to Rocky Point’s usual midday options: McDonalds, the salt-heavy diner, and that awful Chinese place next door to it. I had a side of greens, which were fresh and unadorned other than a heavy dose of balsamic dressing, and a perfect iced mocha. The bread itself was quite good. I did not have any dessert; no cupcake and no ice cream, so, based on what I’ve heard and read, I probably will give another star next time. The structure of the building segregates the ice cream crowd(mostly enthusiastic children with their«outside voices») from the restaurant section, allowing for a very pleasant afternoon lingering over a nice casual lunch and listening to their Michael Buble CD.

I stumbled upon this place by chance. What a cute bakery! Although they had a whole section of the store dedicated to their ice cream, I had a vanilla latte and one of their many cupcakes on display. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

This review is for ice cream only. Ended up here because we couldn’t find a Carvel around Riverhead. So glad we couldn’t find it. Amazing. Lots of good flavors to choose from, mostly typical but some fun ones like cotton candy and red velvet. I had peppermint and birthday cake; my family had strawberry, coffee, and chocolate peanut butter. Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had– so creamy and delicious, and you can tell it’s made on the premises. The atmosphere was so nice, with huge windows and cute decorations. I’d come back on a date, or with family, really anyone. I will definitely stop by next time I go out to Tanger Outlets. Also, our order total for 3 small cups(which were sized more like medium, generous portions!) was 8.97! No way!

So this was the third time I’ve come here and I decided to order a panini to stay. I was underwhelmed to say the least. It seems like if you aren’t a regular here(once a month does not count as a regular) then the hospitality kind of goes out the window. The lady who took my order was friendly enough but the owner kept her eye on me the whole time without saying anything to me. I felt like she thought I was suspicious or something. I regret eating my whole lunch there but I can’t change that now. Anyway, I got the Caprese panini and asked for grilled chicken with it. It came with a field green salad as a side and I also got an iced tea. The panini was ok, the chicken tasted really chicken-y the tomato was so-so, mozzarella cheese was fresh and gooey. The thing that made the panini really good was the pesto sauce they used and the actual bread. I was in love with the bread. Also, the side salad was really tasty. The mixed greens were all tender and the house dressing was really good. All in all, I was slightly disappointed this time around but I’ll probably be back since there are really slim pickings for lunch around here.
