I’ve ordered delivery and take-out about 10 times in the past 2 months so far. I feel I’m ready to give a fair review at this point. The food is usually pretty tasty and not overly greasy. I think the wonton and egg drop soups are very good — some of the best I’ve had in a while and I LOVE soup so to me that’s a bonus. But I wish they’d get the«good» crunchy noodles for goodness sakes. They not only use the thin noodles(snore), they use the ones that come pre-portioned in a plastic bag. I actually just shook my head and rolled my eyes thinking about how tasteless, stale, gross and unappealing they are. My dog even turns her nose up at them and I don’t blame her. I usually order a LOT of food for several people and we all pick at everything and share. Here are some things I’ve ordered more than once, along with some observations: *Wonton soup — Great! Flavorful broth, not too salty, and yummy wontons *Egg drop soup — Great! It actually tastes like something other than tasteless yellow mucus. Most of us chose to mix the wonton & egg drop — what trendsetters, maybe this will catch on *Boneless ribs — usually tasty and mostly not too fatty(mostly) *Lo mein(chicken or beef). Tasty but usually greasy *Singapore mei fun — twice ordered and both times it was too spicy even though we asked for it mild. Love curry; not a fan of fistfuls of red pepper flakes :(But if you are a fan of spicy you’ll like it *Pork dumplings(steamed or fried) — usually tasty filling but the dumpling skin is a little thick :/One time the dipping sauce had a layer of oil on top that exceeded the depth of the actual sauce. Weird. We just didn’t use it, but that’s kind of the best part so bummer but not a deal breaker *Shrimp and lobster sauce — not memorable ATALL. I know I ordered it twice and it’s my most favorite dish of the moment, but I can’t remember if I liked it or not *Chicken and string beans — decent flavor but here’s where the weirdness with the main dishes occurs(also happened with the shrimp & lob sauce): Everything is a jiggly, gelatinous mass, especially after it cools off. The food is so unappealing that I usually don’t ever eat the leftovers and that’s sad because I don’t like to be wasteful. The last time I ordered the chicken and string beans the chicken was breaded in such a thick layer of whatever it’s breaded in that when I took a bite the breading scraped off on my teeth and the chicken was left on the fork. I lost my appetite after that and didn’t eat anymore. Also, as another reviewer said you should ask about the coupons because they don’t mention them and it’s true. I know they’d go out of business if they pushed their coupons(that are printed plainly on the free menus), but for a repeat customer it seems like something they should do. My orders are usually $ 40, $ 45, $ 50+ and when they take my order they never ask what I’d like to use the coupon on – and I’ve ordered so many times in the last 2 months they know who I am when I call so I would definitely consider myself a «regular» by now. My old place used to just ask — or if they forgot to ask they’d just throw whatever it was into the bag(a quart of soup for example). Funny: I did remember to ask for a total and ask to use the coupon the next time I ordered and they forgot to bring whatever the freebie was LOL :) It wasn’t a big deal, I’m easy going, they just gave it to me next time. They’re very nice here and most of the time the food is edible — let’s just see if we can get the chef to stop using whatever thickener he uses to turn every dish into goo and let’s get them to use the«good» wonton soup noodles :)

Great take out place. They are fast, the food is hot and very tasty. I ordered on the phone and by the time I got there it was ready. We got cheese wontons, steamed dumplings, shrimp rolls, broccoli and chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chicken chow mein. The only thing we didnt like was the steamed dumplings. They were doughy. Everything else was very good. Dont forget about the coupon at the bottom of the menu after spending a certain amount you get something for free, they will no remind you of that!

Average Chinese, nothing special. It is not a restaurant, just a take out joint. There are better close by.

The food at Ming Ting is very good and consistently so. Try their Sechuan or Hunan chicken along with the vegetable lo mein. The prices are excellent. It is a family owned and run business. I think maybe the best things about it are that they care about the quality of the food and they keep their place very clean all the time. They are always friendly. I’ll be missing them when I move to Oregon!

Very good chinese food. You can also order things that aren’t on the menu and they’ll make it for you. Very friendly.

I have lived in MI for three plus years and never tried Ming Ting until yesterday. There was only one Unilocal review that was off the charts. I had a Chinese restaurant we used for take out and eat in. But decided to try Ming Ting ’cause some person I don’t know said good things about Ming Ting. Well, it is a great choice for take out, have tables but this is a take out place. Ordered wonton soup(Excellent), shrimp lo mein(almost excellent), Dim Sum(excellent plus plus) and, Shrimp and Lobster(great) all ready in 10 minutes! Don’t be surprised by the surroundings. It’s a strip mall and easy to miss Ming Ting. I went to the barber and dinner and never noticed Ming Ting. Now I will miss all except Ming Ting.

Ming Ting is one of the BEST Chinese take out places in Suffolk County. It’s rare that you can walk into a restaurant, pick anything from the menu and absolutely love it. but the chefs at Ming Ting possess that quality. Excellent Chinese food at great prices and superior tasting, well seasoned dishes. I recommend the Spare ribs, Shrimp Lo Mein and the Mei Fun Shrimp soup, but like I said before, you can pick ANYTHING on their menu and be pleasantly surprised!
