Authentic crab cakes and good whole crabs! We were hesitant to go here as the reviews were not that good. We went anyway and found the place great. The waitress was very nice. The crab cakes were made with all crab meat and contained no fillers. Go for the broiled crab cakes over fried one.

$ 40 a dozen heavy crabs, cheap beer, great southern rock. I’ve been coming here fore years. It seems to be getting better the last few, especially with the outside beer/crab garden. See Damian for bloody Mary’s.

Called ahead to see if they had jumbos. They said yes. Jumbos were only 70 a dozen. Asked the person on the phone why they were so cheap after calling other restaurants where over $ 100, she said because«we offer good value». The jumbo crabs were some really small crabs closer to medium-size if anything. Also they were not juicy and very light. The silver lining is that they were overpriced since $ 70 is probably market for medium crabs. Service was decent but crabs were subpar so won’t be going back.

I’ve been to this spot several times and have always found the crab cakes to be delicious. Several friends insist on coming here when they are in town. Not sure why some of the reviews aren’t great, but I’ve never had a bad experience.

Great food and service. Nice laid back atmosphere. I like the outside seating. The crabs were seasoned perfect and the crab pretzel was awesome. Great prices and kid friendly.

Very disappointed. Ordered a dozen of the $ 48 crabs(the largest available) and every one of them was a slougher(a crab that starves itself before it sheds its shell). Very little meat in the crab. Crab sorters know this and these crabs should not have been the highest priced. Find another place…

The service was very slow and forgetful. The crab soup had shells in every bite. We ordered a dozen and a half colossal crabs. After already waiting about 45 mins for our crabs to come out, the waitress tells us that they«accidentally gave our crabs away to someone else» and we had to wait another 15 minutes for them to come out. We also ordered a side of fries that the waitress brought out late and they were cold. After sending them back, she brought out a smaller portion of fries! Luckily, the crabs were decent but it didn’t make up for the terrible service.

Your dinner will be dependent on what food you ordered. We ordered oysters and crab soup and they were not very good at all. However, we also got a dozen large crabs and they were delicious. The service was not horrible, but certainly not any good. The food also took forever to prepare.

Mediocre at best, so many better places within walking distance. Crabs weren’t very good, service was ok, menu was limited and most things lacked creativity or flavor.

I tried crab dip – lot of lump crab meat, and steamed crabs(med male) ½ dozen $ 13 – crabs are good quality. Had dinner before Bengies drive-in theatre nearby. They also have«crab garden» that you could listen to live local band. My boyfreind had fish sandwich-it’s just ok.

Very poor service. Called in steamed crab order an hour earlier. When I went to pick it Up, I waited in line 20 minutes before any of the people working even acknowledged that I was there. Guess they were too busy helping those that were dining in. Anyway, crabs were horrible, very light. Atleast a half a dozen we didn’t even bother to open.
