Papa Gino’s Pizzeria

We placed an order for two small pizzas and a cheese steak. I you know the pizza takes longer, wait to bring out the cheese steak. Seriously, my husband was done before our food even came out. So stupid. It’s been at least 20 minutes since the cheese steak came out… pizza still not here. Someone else commented they need more training. I think they need a new manager. Clearly the manager doesn’t train the staff well at all.
Horribly run. Haven’t seen one adult behind the counter. only teens.

God damn this place sucks!!!
The staff are NOT helpful at answering questions and know nothing about the menu that’s behind them all day. They know nothing about allergens in the food and Wont even look for an answer for you. They won’t do ANYTHING as far as special requests-won’t even make a pizza half one thing half another (when both are the same price!?!) Just don’t go. There’s a mom and pop pizza shop literally right the road with quality food that’s not off a conveyor belt.

I give Middleboro Papa Gino’s of Middleboro a 1 star because the pizza tastes good. The service is really bad. They do not put the customer first. If they were honest about why food is not ready for when they say then they would have happier customers. There needs to be more training done at this Papa Gino’s.

I don’t know why I gave this location another try. Ordered a salad and a kids pasta to go and took 30 minutes. Plus this place is very dirty. I hope someone from Papa Gino’s corp reads these Unilocal reviews because this location has become the worst in this chain. This location needs need management and some basic standards then maybe this location could meet the level of customer experience that one looks for from this chain.

Absolutely terrible service. They are a joke of a company. Ordered delivery at 6:30 pm. 7:40 still no pizza. Called to check and got informed my order was never placed. Manager was Nicole who offered me zero in the way of compensation. Zero customer service. If it was for the pizza being good I would never order from this place. Never will I do delivery. Calling the district manager because I am that pissed

Terribly, slow service for lunch! It took 27 min from order of a turkey sandwich till actually getting it! The sandwich was good therefore 2 stars but overall I would never go here again especially for a quick lunch!

Pretty good cheese pizza not a very salad pizza comes out pretty fast

If you’re into greasy pizza with bland toppings on the cheap and has no character then any Papa Gino’s is for you. The ability for this company to put out crappy food fast has made it a staple for those on a budget. Everything from the dough through sauce and toppings says «I don’t care and I want you to know it.»

It’s a chain restaurant so expect a chain restaurant like services. You can tell they all hate their jobs and pretend that they are happy.

Just went to this PG location for lunch, NOT impressed. The woman at the counter is curt and unfriendly, (I watched her refuse to hand someone their order because they didn’t have their receipt handy) and I waited 15 minutes for a buffalo chicken SALAD while I watched pizza and pasta orders come out one after another.
I thought «hey, maybe they’re actually cooking the buffalo chicken tenders»… but the chicken isn’t even WARM. So it took you 15 minutes to throw some lettuce in a bowl and half-​nuke some chicken?
Skip it. Go to Harry’s or Dave’s ¼ mile up the street for faster service and way more delicious food.

Came in for a quick bite to eat before work and ordered a couple slices of pizza. I sat down and the guy brought the food to my table. Used to have to get up when my number was called. Great service I’m impressed with the change.

Had some bad experinces at this papa ginos!

Hopefully this is the correct Papa Gino’s, as this was the only one was listed and I don’t actually know the address of the one I ate at, only knew it was in Middleboro.
With that said, this particular location was great! The manager rang us up and her name happened to be Becky… my nick name too. She was pleasant and was able to repeat my order back to me to show she was listening. It was nice to hear someone say my order back instead of asking me «Drinks?» «For here or to go?» after I’ve already answered all the info!
She even asked if I wanted the buffalo Chicken before the pizza. It is listed under the appetizer list on the menu but so many times in the past, it’s come after we get the pizza. I always thought the chicken is fried and should cook faster than the pizza!
They brought everything to our table, including the blue cheese dressing. and they didn’t skimp on it since I had asked for extra. They also gave us extra plates, napkins and plastic utensils. It was great service. and while I don’t expect table side service at Papa Gino’s, it was nice they remembered to give us everything we needed. In the past I’ve had to ask for everything since they keep most of those said items behind the registers nowadays! (I assume to save money so people don’t take extras and whatnot).
The food tasted great! The buffalo chicken was crunchier than I remember and it was good. The pizza was yummy, just as I had expected it to be. and the service was in a timely manner.
I’d go back… especially if I happen to move to the area. I’ve been to plenty of PGs, you’d know if you read my reviews, so I know what I am talking about! ;)
