This location seems like a bad spot. Just ask the other several Asian restaurants that closed up there. So that being said, no. 1 taste must have some great food to offer. Sadly, this is not the case. Ordered the most basic dishes any Asian restaurant can offer, FRIEDRICE. Rice was tasteless, bland and worst of all overcooked. Or may not have been freshly prepared. The«chef» who prepared looked more like the delivery guy. They call this place No. 1 taste, I call it no one taste !

I’m pregnant and was craving a lot of the food posted in the pictures. It ended up to be a disappointing first(and last) experience. The food for carry out was quoted to be ready in 15 minutes – 3 separate times while we were there. My husband and I waited for almost an hour since they got 1 of the orders wrong. One dish was soggy and oily, and it was supposed to be fried rice. I took a bite and couldn’t stomach it(I’m well passed the morning sickness phase). Maybe they had an off night, since they had a consistent flow of customers for pick up and appeared understaffed. Also, the woman was friendlier than other comparable places. I doubt I’ll give them another try though.

So I really wanted to like this place. I really, really did. I got a flyer in my door today so I decided to give this a try tonight. I saw they have a website. so bonus! They have online ordering. I really don’t like talking on the phone, so any time I can do something like food delivery by just clicking on a website is a bonus for me. I placed my order at 5:31pm, according to the email receipt that I got. About an hour later, I called the restaurant to find that my order had never been received. I told them that there was a problem with their online ordering, only to be told that they had received other orders, not just mine. Ok, fine. So I tried ordering again, and I asked if they could rush the order seeing as I had already waited an hour for my food. So timecheck, it’s now 6:36pm. At 7:14pm, I called again, as my order had not been received yet. I was told that it had just gone out for delivery, but he had two orders to deliver, so it might be another 10 minutes. I called again at 7:40. At 7:45 the order finally showed up at my door. Bad first impression, but if the food was good, I could give this place another shot. They gave me some extra food, which was nice(it looks like a double order of Steamed Pork Dumplings, which were pretty good, and Crab Rangoon, which would have been better if they were actually hot — but they were lukewarm by the time I got them). I also order Pad Thai Chicken, which is pretty much devoid of flavor entirely. So, Sorry No.1 Taste. I will not be ordering from you again.
