Majestic Nails

I stopped coming here last year because it was dirty and one of the employees would take smoke breaks right in front of the door. It’s so much better since the new owners took over last year. Clean and quiet, and the service is excellent.

I walked right in and was graciously seated. Really nice staff and my shellac polish change was CHEAP and nicely done. I will come back for my next appointment to give this place another try.

This is the best place to get a manicure in Madison! Talk about reasonable prices – a regular manicure is only $ 15, and a mani/​pedi is only $ 40! Plus, they give you a punch card, and every 10^th manicure is free! They are open Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays). The staff is friendly, and they don’t give me a hard time for having short nails! I like having short nails, but many places in Madison (Kelly Nails, I am talking to you!), make me feel bad for having short nails. I usually have Chow (sorry if I am misspelling it) do my nails at Majestic Nails, and she is experienced, competent and super nice. I think you should ask for her when you go! The place is clean, the ambiance is peaceful and best of all, you can request NO UV LIGHT when drying your nails! That is important to me, because I like to let my nails dry for about 15 minutes, and I don’t want to worry about getting skin cancer. I used to live in NYC, and I have a lot of experience with manicure salons. I can say with confidence that I have tried a LOT of manicure places here in Madison, and Majestic Nails and the nail place at East Town Mall are the only decent places with reasonable prices that I have found so far. Give this place a shot!
