We stopped to have pancakes with our kids but after 3 they’re not serve which we understand but what we don’t understand is $ 9 for 2 sodas and 2 chocolate milk that had very little chocolate in them total cost of the chocolate milks was that of a gallon at a grocery store. Unfortunately we had to leave so that we could go to Waffle House in order to give our kids the pancakes we told him that you have for dinner. we tried to be gracious about it but we can see on the waitress’s face she was not pleased. Frankly I don’t think she was pleased that we’re there in the first place.

Pancakes are delicious and you can order the bacon crispy. Waitress and hostess very friendly. Soft drinks are huge! Will even give you a refill to go. Wish they served breakfast all day.

Big Propane Tank next to the entrance, with a sign, «Propane Gas for Sale», we go inside ask at the counter if we can get an LP tank refilled. The brilliant woman said, «I don’t know what that is.» Told her Liquid propane, to which she replied, «we don’t do that.» Asked again, «but you have a sign that says, Propane Gas for Sale?» Again no luck, «No we don’t do that yet.» No offer apology for the misleading tank & sign, no «let me see if I can find someone who knows…» just a whole lot of I don’t want to be bothered attitude. Food might have been good, but we didn’t stick around to find out.

New owner. Staff is very happy and cheerful. They have scrubbed everything the place sparkles. The diner food is amazing & I AM picky. Just a kind & wonderful atmosphere, I felt appreciated & special. It is hard to find a place like this anymore.

I wouldn’t stop here if I were you ! Food not very hot, although big portions of food for the money, not a very clean place, if you don’t mind flies annoying you while you are trying to eat, stay away from here !

Had breakfast skillet and was amazing! The portions were fairly large and drink size was huge! Highly recommend. I took one star off because there was a chunk of food on the wall next to me. that was my only complaint.

Reminds me of the truckstop diners of my youth. Had the lunch portion of the hot open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy(instead of fries). Large portion and very tasty. Perfect for a cold winter day.

Stay away from this place staff untrained, hostess yells from across room, to seats the poor customers that accidentally stopped in, no need for hostess stand .the cook must have to walk down road to farm to catch chicken then wait for chicken to lay egg, SALTY

We come here pretty much every weekend for breakfast with the family. We love the waitress Christine. Debbie is equally good too. Oh and now they have pizza.

This place is one of the reasons that I look forward to trips up north. For the longest time, I’ve been a fan of Truck Stop food and 301 does not dissapoint. Phenominal prices on specials along with huge portions makes stopping here a no brainer for the hungry traveler heading back into Maryland. While you can sit down in thier restaurant and eat, they also have great fried chicken available to go if you are just getting some of their reasonably priced gas for the car. The chicken taste as if it is based on a classic Maryland fried chicken recipe, crispy and slightly salty skin, moist, tender meat. You can also find some pretty cool souvenirs in the truck/gift shop

On the way back from a family reunion, my dad and I stopped here to gas up and get a bite to eat. My dad has eaten here before and said it was a good place to stop before heading home. We got the gas, then pulled into the parking lot to go inside. We sat at the counter and the waitress immediately served us. As I’d had a big breakfast, I wasn’t that hungry, so I had a dish of ice cream(I know, not a healthy lunch!), of strawberry and chocolate, and a glass of water, and dad had a piece of cherry pie and a cup of coffee. Dad liked the pie and since the ice cream was hand-dipped, it was awesome! There were honest-to-goodness real strawberries in the strawberry scoop and the chocolate scoop tasted like chocolate. :) Yum! There are stores connected to this gas station, but I didn’t have a chance to go in and look at them, from what I could see at the counter though, it looks like they might cater to tourists, which, for a gas ‘n go, I would expect. The waitresses were attentive to us and checked in on us frequently. The restaurant was clean, and very busy, so they do a good job considering how much turnover they had while we were there. I’ll be back the next time I have to travel through Delaware!

Bang for the buck best deal on RT301. They are really fast. Staff is really nice and friendly. Also that last decent restaurant on RT301 until Kent Island, Maryland about 50 miles away.
