This is a wonderful little gift shop specializing in items from Scandinavia and quirky little toys and gifts that harken back to a time before batteries and electronics — lots of wind-up Schilling tin toys, simple games, marbles, breathe-operated musical toys, and more. Unfortunately, they are in the last chapter of their story. The owner is 90 years old and has finally decided to retire. The store is closing very soon, and everything is deeply discounted as she tries to clear the inventory before locking the doors for the final time. If you’ve enjoyed shopping there over the years as I have, get there soon and get a great deal on the gifts, toys, and handcrafts you’ve loved before it’s too late.

Had been a staple of my childhood, especially around Christmas time ! Has so many amazing gifts and keepsakes that you will feel you are in another time and place with the handcrafted beauty and heritage you will encounter. This shop holds a special place in my heart forever. It is such a peaceful, perfect and lovely shop that stands the test of time!

A step back in time! What a cute place for those of Scandanavian ancestry! I’m(obviously) not, but this is a great place to buy fun things made in Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic(I know, not Scandanavian, but you get it) and Finland. There are really pretty mobiles that decorate the entire place, toys from around the world, amazing wooden utensils for less than $ 10 from Norway. You can go a little crazy in here! I would highly recommend!
