I heard about this salon from a blogger on FB. So, I messaged them and was able to set up an appt. They worked w/my schedule, which was great b/c I work over an hour away. They are located in a small strip mall across from a fast food spot. There shop is just in the middle. It is a cute little shop, clean and well maintained. I have thick natural hair, BSL. My stylist Dee hid all of my hair under a full stocking cap. She worked very diligently and you could tell that she takes pride in her work. We small talked throughout the visit, which was nice. They play music throughout the shop. I imagine it’s like the Anthony Hamilton station on Pandora. It is a bit loud, but it’s comforting and not offensive. Of course it took several hours to finish my hair, but they(Dee and her sister) asked me if I was ok or hungry. There were children in the salon, but they were not disruptive. My second visit, I got a flat twist updo w/the top in a rod set. I told Dee that she could do whatever she wanted w/it, and she did a great job. I received several compliments even after a couple wks. They have great customer service, you can ask questions and they go out of their way to resolve issues. I will definitely be back, despite the drive. I enjoyed the overall vibe of the place and the two sisters that run it.
