Service was fast & friendly! The food on the other hand… We ordered about 2 hours before super bowl 50. Quick time considering how close it was to the game. We would have understook a longer time. We picked up. Salad was just ok — lots of meat though. The gnocchi would have been good, but the sauce was basically canned tomato sauce with salt added(a tad bit of sugar is what takes care of that tomato bite, not salt. Not to mention the lack of any other spices). The stuffed shells were ok(same sauce as gnocci). They also had something in them that took us a while to figure out if it was sausage or mushrooms — we THINK it was sausage… The fried shrimp were soaked in garlic(that could have been put in their sauces). I wish I’d known as not only do I have to limit garlic, but it made it terrible — no mention in the menu, so I expected fried shrimp — period. With the service what it was & for the amounts you got(large portions except for the shrimp — 8), the prices were very reasonable, so I really wish the food was good. Looking at the reviews(wish I had BEFORE ordering), it seems you either love this place or hate it.

Jerry’s Pizza! I have yet to find a delicious doughy cheese pizza I like better than Jerry’s. He’s awesome, come say hi, bring your family, have a pie. One family tradition I’ve kept!(Ps, there is no Sally’s or Pepe’s, there is only Jerry’s– it may not be super artsy but it is GOOD)

Just moved to Middletown and was looking for a local pizza joint. I decided to try Jerry’s and called at 11:15 on a Sun. They answered and took my order even though they did not open until noon. Said I would receive it a little after noon. At 12:40 I called to make sure it was on the way and was told it was the next one out. I live a mile away if that. At 1:00 I gave up and cancelled the order.

Great service. Casual dining. Good diverse Italian menu selection. Good crunchy crust Not sure my request for extra cheese was heard or cooked, or that’s what they consider more than normal cheese. But the cheese that was there was good quality, and this is one of those smaller actually make the pizza places that doesn’t just serve SYSCO premade dough. I will go back and see what happens next time. n our pizza. We ordered extra cheese, but the amount seemed stingy for even regular cheese. I’m going back to see how they do next time.

I’ve only had take out pizza here, but I think it’s great. They have an awesome selection of toppings and specialty pies. The crust is a little thicker than«New York Style» pizza, but it’s got a great flavor and bite. Anytime I’ve ever been there to pick up my pizza, it’s always busy — that’s the sign of a great restaurant. It’s also great as left-overs(cold for breakfast is my jam).

This review is for a large Sicilian cheese pizza. Crust: Thick like a traditional sicilian style pizza. The pizza was obviously cooked in an old pan with a thick coating of built up oil. The crust tasted of rancid oil and pan funk. Great sicilian pizza is made on a well seasoned pan sure, but this pan needed to be washed and reseasoned. The after taste in my mouth right now is honestly making me want to retch. The sauce: Pinkish in color. Tastes like something between Prego and Spaghettio sauce with lots of extra salt added. No seasoning evident besides salt. No real tomato flavor. Salty pink stuff. The cheese: Translucent and sickly in appearance. Was barely melted. Very low quality, flavorless cheese. It looked and tasted like the cheese you might find on very cheap frozen pizza. Like the $ 1 frozen pizza. Altogether: Hands down, worst pizza I have ever had. I’m not that picky, I will eat any pizza I spent money on. I couldn’t stomach more than one slice of this pizza. True, I may only have tried one menu item here, but that one item was so utterly terrible I will never bring myself to order anything from them again.

Not all that crazy about them. Pizza could be good but it’s tough — like the dough is hard to chew through. It left my jaw hurting once. The delivery can also be a headache — 1 hour to 1.5 hours on a Friday. Other places are 45 minutes on a Friday. Had an order for pizza and an app but canceled it due to delivery time. Maybe its a good place, just not for me.

One of favorite pizza joints in town! Love their pizza and the staff is great! They also have a variety of wings that are delicious. The subs and salads are also good too.

We were in Middleton CT for a football game against Wesleyan University. We hosted a post game tailgate to feed our players and parents following the game. We ordered from Jerry’s Pizza based on feedback via Unilocal and other food blogs. We were not disappointed. The wings and wraps both Buffalo Chx/Bbq Chx were delicious! We ordered a variety of pizzas and they were ALL yummy. The favorites were the white shrimp, and the buffalo Chx pizza. Best of All our delivery came exactly at the time requested so the food was hot and ready to serve. Carmela, who handles all the catering was so helpful and professional. She asked all the right questions about amount of people we were feeding in relation to the order. They even provided sturdy plates so the team could pile on the tailgate food! Thanks for helping to make our tailgate a success!

Hands down the best pizza around. However I find that they make more mistakes in delivery orders than most. The normal wait for delivery is 1 ½ hours but it’s worth the wait.

I have grown up eating Jerry’s pizza. In my opinion, it’s the best pizza around and I will stand by that. The crust is thin and the sauce is outstanding. Their white pizzas are out of this world. Recently, I had to change my diet and eat gluten-free. Jerry’s offers gluten free pizza but it is not the best. The sauce and cheese are great(much like their regular pizza) but the crust is very thick and very dry. I hope that they are still trying to modify it and make it better. I’ve had some great gluten free pizzas and if Jerry’s can master the dough recipe for it, it will be the best! Another thing that can be iffy is their delivery. Sometimes they’re right on time! Other times they take a very long time. All in all, I recommend Jerry’s to anyone who can eat gluten and is looking to pick it up or dine in there.

Jerry’s is a standard-looking pizza place, inside and out. The place is clean and the staff friendly. The prices are fair and the food tasty. I tried the chicken parm grinder; next time I’ll have to give the pizza a go.

Great Sicilian pizza! Dough was thick and chewy, sauce was delicious, the extra cheese was on point. I had two slices and I was full! Excellent pizza and I can’t wait to go back!

I really love this place! Between being treated like family and having plenty of food options for my healthier eating habits. Their salads and veggie burger are great. When I’m on a cheat day I usually get their wings in either hot chili or sweet bourbon. AWESOME. Anthony

Jerry’s in the 90’s was top notch, not so much now. Pizza will typically have a lake of grease on top. Be prepared for the cheese to slide right off like a marble on a ramp. Delivery: horrendous. Last time I ordered the food just straight up never arrived and they charged my card. I was able to get a refund, but I went hungry. I simply got my money back, nothing else. Typically it takes well over an hour for delivery if indeed it does come.

Some of, If not, the best pizza(definitely in Middletown) in the state of CT. I grew up on this stuff and this place is a must visit every time I return to the area. To be fair, Jerry’s is a very specific type of Pie. I have never actually had their Sicilian but I hear great things about it, however, their classic is one of the realest things I have ever known! I did not order a grinder this time, I went for the sausage and pepperoni and ordered a calzone for the misses… Wanted to give her the true experience. But there Grinders are something special too! I was actually very upset with myself for not ordering one before I left town.

Pizza was good, a lot of toppings on Jerry’s special, nice red sauce, and crust had great texture. Saw this place on NBCCT, and figured we’d try it out for a change. However, I have to say I prefer other places around Middletown, not that I wouldn’t go here again, no no I would.

I like this delivery pizza. We built our medium pizza with; ricotta, chicken, mozzarella garlic and tomato sauce. I like the crust: it was thin enough in the area with toppings and soft and crusty in the minimal crust area. It was an hour and fifteen mins for it to be delivered on a Sunday night. This is kind of long. $ 2 delivery fee which is cheaper than the«860 to go» option from other pizza delivery options of $ 4.99 delivery fee. I like them, they have decent pizza and a pretty good website.
