Jersey Mike’s Subs

First of all, let me start by saying what an absolute rip off this place is. Spent just over $ 10 on a combo for a sad looking sandwich, chips and a drink that lasted all of three sips.
During on of my visits there, I had asked for a chipotle cheesesteak without peppers and onions. What did they give me??? A ton of peppers and onions. It was a disgusting sloppy mess. It was almost inedible.
I went back thinking I’d give them another chance and got the chicken club. The woman making my sandwich was obviously a trainee, but my issue was that there was absolutely no one looking after her. I had to repeat myself several times of how I wanted my sandwich because she was so easily frazzled and confused, which became frustrating. My sandwich had more oil than vinegar. The two measly strips of bacon I received were burnt. The sandwich was pathetic.
This place is overrated. Go to a real deli and get your money’s worth.

I drove over an hour to try and find a deli that Unilocal had said was awesome… alas we couldn’t find it (address was wrong) so as a last ditch effort for a quick bite to eat before a concert we stopped at Jersey Mike’s. I have to say that I was impressed at the quality of the sub. Everyone was happy with their order, and I especially liked that you can choose to have your sub without bread (yes I know, sounds sacrilege) but it is a great option for those that are gluten free or just want something lighter. I had the buffalo chicken and it was really good — nice chunks of chicken with a good heat level, blue cheese, and fresh lettuce and tomato. Pretty much a win considering we were stressing over getting food before the show.

The subs there are decent enough. The chicken cheesesteaks were a little bit on the greasy side, but I suppose that’s to be expected in a cheesesteak sandwich.
The restaurant itself was really nice, spotlessly clean, and the staff was friendly too. All around a good local chain if you need some hero sandwiches, but nothing legendary.

I’ve been coming here for 15 years and I have to say, the quality has fallen off. The meat is always good but I’ve noticed they put less and less on the sandwiches.
If I have the choice, I’d much rather go up the street to Talericio’s.

My whole family loves Jersey Mike’s. Simply the best subs. The food is always fresh and we can count on a delicious experience. Friendly, customer service oriented. When we were traveling to South Carolina last year, our GPS noted a Jersey Mike’s along the road, a bit out of our way. We traveled the extra miles just to get a Jersey Mike’s sub.

I have been ordering from the Middletown location for well over 10 years now. They have yet to disappoint. If you come in to place an order on a weekend around lunch time, expect to wait in a long line, although the line does move rather quick, and it’s worth the wait; you won’t be disappointed. The bread is always fresh, and the meats are cut right in front of you. You can watch your sandwich being made so you know it’s what you want.

I have no night vision but I know NJ so I drove to find this spot with yes, wait for it, my husband who was gripping the armrest. Whoever was working that night was friendly and professional helping us when we got loss. All I got to say about the italian sub is it is a darn fine sandwich!!! Worth braving the dark!!? Definitely a must if your in the area.

I’ve been getting subs from this particular location, or rather my family in Middletown has, for years. Always fresh, staff is always friendly & we’ve never had issues with our orders. We get them ‘Mike’s Way’.

Delicious sandwiches. Roast beef sandwich is amazing. Best takeout-​in the area. Nice atmosphere.
