I took my six year old son out for a shake and burger. The shakes were awesome and the food was good too. Service fell a bit short. The waitress was not very polite and not very attentive to our table. But, the food was good.

Caution-if you are in a hurry skip this Johnny Rockets. Slow service and slow to get food, unless you want a hotdog. When the food finally came out it was hot and very good. I had the chicken tenders with fries. Nice portion size. My daughter had a chicken sandwich without the bun. The piece of chicken was small and the avocado was not ripe enough; not what the menu picture illustrated. Unlimited drinks worked out however unlimited fries was a bust. Johnny Rockets has changed since first opening. No hand drawn ketchup smiley face and if you want fries with you meal you pay $ 2 extra and they are suppose to be unlimited but they never come ask until the end when you’re ready to leave. At least they still dance and sing to some of the music Overall okay but not a place I would frequent

Service was quick. Food was tasty, hot and fresh and our server Alejandra was awesome. A definite positive dining experience. Fast food with class! I will spread the word and come back again.

The food is pretty good not the best but pretty good. The milkshakes are the best! Bad news: This location is a little unorganized, I had to wait over 5 minutes to be seated and I was beyond annoyed! I only waited because I wanted my milkshake. Too bad I didn’t notice the Baskin Robbins next door, I could have saved myself some time. Everything was fine once I was seated and received my food. Before I left I told my waiter that I wanted to order something to go from the kids menu for daughter, her, the meal came with a drink however the waiter forgot drink. I was so fed up that I paid for my food and left! As good as the milkshakes, I don’t believe that I will ever return to this restaurant!

Nice place for a quick stop in the mall. Staff were nice and food was pretty much based around cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and fries. They do have milk shakes and such too.

Love there $ 5.49 meals. I always get the turkey meal. Yummy. And the endless fries are fresh.

Worst service I have EVER experienced. Even the manager was clueless when she came to seat us, after standing at the door for 10 minutes. We waited for 20 minutes before a server even came to the table for the drink order. Then another 25 minutes for our burgers to come out. The waitress didnt even bring us napkins when we asked, or come back to refill our cups. She didnt come back to the table at all once our food came. Over a hour of waiting… and the burgers werent even anything to rave about. I will never ever EVER go back to this place. I have had better service at Wendy’s!!!

Burgers good-thats why they get 3 stars, It really needs remodel, service was fair– but I consider it a fast food place, not really a sit down place.

I think that I was resistant to eating here for the sole purpose it’s a restaurant in a mall. It can’t be good. And it really wasn’t. The food was acceptable. The bottomless fries made my one friend very happy. But as the other writer pointed out, the service was nil. No one was rude per say, but we had a hard time flagging down our waitress, getting refills, any napkins to speak of, and tables stayed unbussed for at least 15 minutes. To give you an idea of how slow our service was, there was a man who threw a righteous honest to god fit restaurant. He flipped his plate to the floor, knocked over his date’s drink, smashed his shake glass on the floor, kicked his plate full of fries when he encountered it, screamed incoherently at the waiter, and came back to pay his bill by placing a twenty facedown in the spilled soda. I have to give credit to the waiter for his cool reserve manner. He didn’t instigate or anger the customer, but remained the epitome of professional demeanor in the face of all of that nonsense. Once a mall security guard came over to «observe» the situation, he left with his date, hopefully paying the tab. They cleaned the glass from the floor up pretty quick, but the table, with its sopped, sodden mess, stayed there for a good while(it was referenced above). We pieced together that the patron was mad about the service. At least, we hope so. There’s really no excuse for mid-30s adult to act like he did. I may skip JR next time and get something from the Dunkin Donuts next door. They may not have the peppermint Mocha I want, but they will have food that comes out in a reasonable manner of time.

What better time to go to the mall than on Black Friday? Actually we waited until later in the day and it really wasn’t all that busy. Since the selection of resto’s in the Middletown Galleria is limited we decided to hit up Johnny Rockets. We thought our ~3 yo daughter would love the juke box on the table and the singing and dancing that the waitresses do. We were seated immediately, it was pretty empty when we got there. We give our DD a nickel to put in the juke box on our table but it’s busted… A sign of things to come. We started with two Lemonades and a Vanilla shake for the youngster. We placed our orders, DW had the Route 66 Burger and I went with the Philly Cheese steak. DD had the mini-hotdogs. 15 — 20 min. later the food comes out but it’s serrved to us on Childrens size plates so the food is hanging off the end of our plates. We weren’t given any utencils or napkins and our waitress seemed to be doing a disappearing act for about 20 min. at a time. DW is finally able to flag down the manager who provides some napkins but still a no-go on the silverware. The food was good for what it is(a heart attack on a plate). Granted the traffic picked up a little bit while we were eating but they had 3 \ 4 waitresses serving about 10 tables, not busy by any stretch of the imagination. I polished off my first lemonade and I needed another to wash the trans-fats down my gullet so I ask for another Lemonade… «Sorry we’re out of Lemonade» I always like to say, when life gives you lemons… make lemonade, but apparently not in this scenario. I’m usually a decently generous tipper but whodini our waitress had to pay for what was a rough outing. Oh and the signing and dancing they usually do, started just as we were getting up to leave so we had to stand in the middle of the restauarant to wait for them to finish because they were partially blocking the entrance. I guess this is why we normally don’t eat in the mall!
