Can I not put a star up at all? One star is too much credit to even have them put on the lights of the establishment. Perhaps the lack of lighting may have helped. The place should seriously been closed. perhaps all Friendly’s restaurants. It seems to lack direction. You come in and not know if you seat yourself or not. The table are not well cleaned nor are the menus. The waiter seemed kind of slow to say the least. You could see that he was disabled but so was his attitude. He seemed to be bother by the few other employees because of their lack of work ethic. But the customers should be subjected to that. He seemed to be attentive as the check arrived because he was thinking«tip». The people behind us seemed to wait a long time for food. Not that many people in the place so it shouldn’t have taken that long. As well there were loud noises from the other side of the wall disturbing to hear during dinner. If you give free refills you should stay on top of doing just that. Food was barely acceptable. Portions sparing. We could count the fries and the noodles of the macaroni & cheese dish. A very sad place. We should have left as soon as we arrived. The dirty table and filthy menu should have been the clues. It lacks cleanliness, proper service and over all good management. Put this place on my «never again» list.

Friendlys Ice-Cream is delicious, bottom line… Could use some new interior design work.

Terrible. Manager didn’t want to heat up my HOTFUDGE because it would melt the ice cream! Then we both got sundaes in tall glasses and he gave us 2 plastic teaspoons. Said they don’t have long sundae spoons anymore! — in an ice cream shop. Sad experience.

Avoid it at all costs. The place is dysfunctional. My wife and I had terrible experience this weekend. The dining room was littered with debris and trash, tables were left un-bused. Ironically there was staff about, but cleaning was not a priority. We should of left at that point. Fortunately, we only came for ice cream, but even that was an effort to serve. There was a lack of utensils, we were issued short plastic spoons to eat our ice cream served in tall narrow parfait glasses. When pointed out to the server the logistical issues were lost on him. This was followed by serving cold hot fudge and it appeared that only the manager worked with cash… out of his pocket… Kinda weird.

Normally my boyfriend doesn’t bother with my Unilocal addiction and writing reviews, but he insisted I write one for this. It took almost 5 mins before someone finally seated us. Once seated, it was another 10 mins before someone finally took our order. 20 mins later, we finally got our appetizers. Keep in mind there was one other table besides us. We had munchie mania– cheeseburger sliders, mini mozzarella sticks and loaded cheese fries. The food was decent, although it looked like it was slopped together. As we finished up, our food arrived and nothing looked right. The pepper jack burger was missing the sautéed onions and the soup was cold. My boyfriend’s turkey sandwich was missing the bacon and tomato. Turns out they ran out of tomato. When they finally brought my burger back with the onions, they only put 3 lil onions on it. I couldn’t help but laugh. Everything was cold and was probably sitting on the side while we ate our apps. My boyfriend just wanted to get out of there at this point, so he asked to have his sandwich boxed. Apparently they ran out of boxes too, so they put it in an ice cream sundae container. So yea, we won’t be returning.

How is this place still operational? My kids chose this today — and we haven’t been in years. 3 people working in the whole place– our order was taken and food dropped off, she said I’ll be right back with refills for your drinks. She came back out to tell a customer who was waiting for 10 minutes for ice cream they didn’t have any bananas !! How does Friendlys not have bananas? I felt bad for them, finally we were done eating with my kids drinking our sodas when she came back to ask how we were doing — I said we didn’t get refills — she just had the ohh wow sorry thing and walked away and came back with the check — I said ok I guess we will Go someplace else for desert — and she took the plates and never came back– I guess customer service is not priority in that business? All the while everyone is looking for the server a 2nd server is wiping tables and setting place setting where nobody is sitting — ignoring requests and telling people she is not the server !!! THISPLACESUCKS!

one stars. I used to love coming here as a kid the service was great and a nice family restaurant. sadly over the years the business went down hill. I came here on a date night with my boyfriend and the dining room was not busy but it took more than 5 minutes to be seated average places have a host sitting up at the stand to seat you right away, this place did not. MULTIPLE times waitresses kept passing back and forth looking at us both.(we had a movie to catch so we were on a timely manner) so we went in finally and the food was average wasn’t the best but it was average. Second time I came, I wanted to take out some food. One waitress saw me and my father standing there passing by us both multiple times !! then proceeded to a table where she stood and spoke and we were still waiting. she kept glancing over at us and I was getting annoyed and was about to leave until a very nice blonde haired woman came over and helped us. the other waitress continued to talk and I am assuming something was wrong with the meal being that she was still over there when I left.(or im trying to believe she wasn’t ignoring us) anyways, don’t go here is you are not patient it is very annoying. I’ll try Dairy Queen or Sonic next.

It is no one employee’s fault, but rather a broken system. It seems the business model was put in place in the 1930s and has failed to adapt. Friendly’s organizational domain lacks the ability to put customer experience first — arguably the most important aspect of consumer service. This is largely the result of unnecessary delays by way of rigid and redundant tasks by an underpaid staff. Despite the fact that one’s «scheduled job» at 3PM may be to clean dishes, serve, bus, or even take a much deserved break, common sense should supersede. if a crowd of people awaits at the express counter, it might make the most sense not to leave that post vacant. We stopped off from a long car ride, craving a childhood memory, a decadent ice cream sunday — to go. In spite of a sparse crowd, we were told by an employee that it would be a moment as they were quite busy. We proceeded to watch 12 clueless teenagers attempt to do one menial task for 12 minutes and ultimately decided to leave. As did several other patrons. It doesn’t get much more obvious than this — poor management, and this is not the first time. I’m sorry, I really do feel bad to be so harsh as you can tell by my review history that I rarely am. However, maybe this dwindling and depressed faction of a once cookie-cutter America needs a wake up call. You’ve become a shell of yourself, with stores closing and the model of old clearly not working. Ask yourself, isn’t it time to find the«friendly» in Friendly’s again?
