Msb Travel

My friend used this travel agent for planning her destination wedding and from the beginning she had problems. The travel agents were not getting back to her and they were having trouble getting prices for the various places she was looking at in Mexico. She figured they would get better as time when on — but it only got worse. I do not know the full extent because she is not one to complain — however I do know that she was so unhappy that she did ask for some kind of compensation and requested that the agent not come with her on her wedding weekend (something that most agents do to ensure that the wedding goes off smoothly).
My experience was also not that great with the travel agent. Every time I called to speak to them about booking my hotel arrangements, they did not know the details of the wedding. They kept on calling/​emailing me back to ask me over and over again the same questions. It seemed like they did not keep a record of what was discussed — something that makes me extremely nervous when I am booking a trip outside the country. I would have not given them my business, if I didn’t get a discount rate from them. I searched every other provider I could find — and other than working with another travel agent they were the cheapest.
I truly don’t know how they are still in business.
