I understand that this is an airport restaurant but this place is just plain awful. No crab in crab cakes(all breading and tasted old). They’re out of veggies, out of soup, out of corona, out of cocktail sauce(seriously it’s just ketchup and horseradish), out of malt vinegar for fish and chips, out of basically everything. Do yourself a favor and just eat at subway next door. This place probably won’t be open for much longer. Awful, just awful.

Agree with other recent review, food is mediocre, staff seems indifferent towards their jobs but you don’t have many choices.

The brunette bar tender was the worst. Being over obnoxious to get customers out @8pm? She made it loud and clear she’s trying to close out and keep checking if I had signed my bill. I over heard her talking to another associate saying come on people«chug, chug, chug». Seeing that this is the only place to get a cold one at HIA it’s a monopoly. Bring mini bottles and eat subway @ HIA.

If you want mediocre food, this is the place for you. With only one other option for food, this place seems to put in little effort. At least the beer is cold.

Had some extra time at the Harrisburg airport and hadn’t eaten. I ordered the Lobster Bisque and was disappointed that they were out. So I tried the crab soup. It was really good. Not really too great at checking in with you or giving refills on drinks. Overall better choice than any other options here at the airport, just not quite good enough for 5 stars.

The crab cakes had filler. A key mistake for a well established seafood house. The management leaves a lot to be desired. They are closing down as people are coming in asking for dinner.

Service was slow and they did not bring the correct order The tuna was tender and did not have a fishy taste the vegetables were a little over seasoned Hush puppies were really good I felt it was expensive, but I like subway prices.

Foods good, service very slow, even when I was the ONLY person here. Everyone was sitting around talking, and the manager would just stare at me, and when asked for something he would go grab a server. With all the down time, they should clean the place.

Got to go 1 star here, ordered the tuna & it was waaaaay overcooked. On top of that, they were out of vegetables! How can you fly in fresh fish; but run out of a staple food?!? **sigh** Phillips, you used to be a reputable place

BECAREFULWITHYOURCREDITCARDHERE … I paid my bill for $ 28.28 on 10÷13÷14, I was charged $ 79.12. As of 11÷24÷14, I am still getting the run-around. The food is okay … I recommend you pay cash, and count your change.

Completely under staffed. Sunday football asked to have channelled changed to a game 40 minutes ago and not done. Worst airport and bar in the country. Fly to Philly and drive.

Had quite a few breakfast options. Wasn’t prepared to have to make a difficult decision. Finally decided on crab meat omelet. It was very good. Quick, friendly service as well.

Wasting time while waiting on a flight. This is always a favorite as their appatizers are always delicious and everything is always fresh and hot. The problem with that is you often have to wait and then wait again as it cools. Remember I am in an airport… waiting is not always optimal. The beer selection is a bit lacking but good overall.

After the awesome Tuna I had last night at Devon in Hershey I opted for just a BLT here. It was good and hit the spot. Nice restaurant for an airport.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem at the Harrisburg, PA airport. Can’t imagine it gets a ton of business as the airport is less than bustling. However, the crab soup and seafood salad sandwich were quite good. There are outlets to recharge your electronics while you recharge yourself! Oh by the way, the service was top drawer today. Nice experience.

Probably as good as you can find here at Harrisburg airport. Ambiance and décor is open and congenial. Crab cake wasn’t that tasty, chocolate cake average at best. Service was fair, full bar will appeal to many.

After missing lunch due to work, I made it to the airport in time for something more substantial than a granola bar and some nuts. The airport doesn’t have much in terms of sit down food, so Philips was the obvious choice. There were plenty of tables and I was easily able to find one with a plug to recharge before the flight. I had the seafood sampler and the Philips salad. Seafood Sampler: fried butterfly shrimp, crab cakes, crab and shrimp egg rolls. The shrimp were good — nice and crispy, and not too much breading. The mini crab cakes(more like crab balls) were very mustard-y(which I like) and the crab tasted fresh. The egg rolls seemed a little fishy and a the skin was a little undercooked, but they were much improved by the sweet chili sauce. The salad was quite impressive for an airport. It was a good mix of greens, with pine nuts, gorgonzola, mandarin oranges. It was fresh, colorful, and tasty. The service was fast enough to get me the meal and the check inside of 40 minutes. Not your usual airport food.

It’s the only non-fast food place in the airport. Ask for your check early because it does take a while to get and process.

This airport location offers free wifi and no hassles while you slowly knosh on one bowl of corn and crab soup. Although I feel this place is more expensive than it needs to be, my crab cakes were really good. Can’t decide what to eat? Try their sampler advertiser for $ 13.

CRABCAKES! SHRIMP! YUM! Phillips Seafood, Maryland’s favorite seafood chain, opened a location at the Harrisburg airport in April 2011. Once ticketed passengers enter thru security, it is just inside to the right in the A Terminal, near gate A1. The crab and shrimp combo platter were just as tasty as I remember from my 7-month consulting job at Johns Hopkins years ago… where I frequently enjoyed the pleasure of an expense account and access to several nearby locations of Phillips! If you have a little time before your flight, I suggest a stopover. If not, plan to have extra time the next time you are at Harrisburg!
