The food was decent even though the waitress completely got my order wrong it was still pretty good. This place has been here forever and they recently just redid the inside. It’s much nicer than it used to be. I do want to try this place for lunch because the crab cakes sounded really good. I got a feta cheese omelet and I was honestly really surprised that they had feta cheese but it was good. My wife got the ham and cheese omelet and she raved about it and I did try it and it was amazing.

Great food, great service at a great price. I get off of Rt 1 at Odessa just to eat there. A real gem that locals know.

The food was really good. I had a bacon and cheese omelet. The restaurant itself smelled musty and old and the air conditioning was barely working. When it’s 90+ degrees out I know it’s harder to keep a place cool with window units. I heard one of the waitresses talking to another table and say that it has never felt cool in there. We’ll come again but wait till it’s cooler out.

Stopped in for breakfast. Restaurant appeared to be very clean. Service was prompt and order was taken correctly. Food was hot and appetizing. Prices are excellent and reflect the food quantity. If you’re looking for diner size quantities, this is not the place to go. I would definitely come back here again. Please note that the restaurant does not take any credit cards.

This little place has been here for ages. I get the idea it was probably very popular back when beach goers had to take Rt 13 to get to the shore. Now that the much faster Route 1 bypasses all the a small towns, little family businesses aren’t so busy any more. You’ll find The Heart on old Route 13 just south of the town of Smyrna. It is easily accessible from either direction of Rt 13. The parking lot is HUGE — ideal if you’re in a big RV pulling something. Today was my first visit. Food was pretty good, and it came out very hot. Two of us had lunch with an appetizer for $ 13! I would definitely stop here next time I’m passing through. I’ll also mention that the place is all original. You might find it nostalgic… or shabby — it’s really a matter of opinion. Warning: they do not take credit cards
