Great salsa, guacamole, and habanero hot sauce! I enjoyed all the food and the ambiance

There has been a lot of buzz about this place and it did not disappoint. Best taco salad ever and great chips and salsa. Also the service was great. Highly recommended for those wanting to try a local mom and pop Mexican restaurant.

If you like tex-mex this is the place. The food was very good and served very fast for a Friday night. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The portion size was large and we had two boxes of left overs. I put my stamp of approval :)

Best mango margarita I’ve ever had! It was perfectly made! Kudos! Nice place inside, newly remodeled. Comfy booths, great service, reasonable prices. Just met friends for happy hour. The tacos were so yummy, chips and salsa was very good as well!

Great service… Cold drinks and HOT food. Was nice to have constant checking from staff to make sure all was good and everything was going great. I don’t remember the name of my meal, think it was #6, basically chicken and rice tortilla. Good prices, good atmosphere and great service. Would recommend.

O my Lord! This is my favorite mexican restaurant ever! The food is so good and the ingredients are so fresh. Service is speedy and polite. I think for the quality of food and service the price is just right! Enjoy!

This is a top notch Mexican restaurant! It’s a huge space with two dining rooms. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered a chicken and cheese enchillada, which was absolutely smothered in melted cheddar. The chips were fresh and warm, and the salsa is housemade. I didn’t love the salsa, which had no spice to it and had that metallic tang tomatoes get from the aluminum can. We had to ask for hot sauce, but once I tossed some in, it got a lot better. Rather than the usual Mexican music(which is great, you expect that), they were playing more current pop songs, which was fun and made me feel like I should be going to a zumba class. My Pinterest side got all geeked out: they had the coolest paper flower garland strung up in the dining room that had clearly been handmade and added such charm! Prices were comparable to most other Mexican places in the area. Aside from needing a little more pepper punch in their dishes, this is a great Mexican joint that I’d happily go back to again.

Decided to try something different while we were at the Outlet Mall Shopping. I had never even heard of Veracruz, but am glad I have now. The feel was very Mexican, which is a big plus for me. So many chain Mexican restaurants do not feel authentic, but this did. We came in for a late lunch and left stuffed… with leftovers. My wife ordered the chicken enchiladas and said they were good. I got the supreme enchiladas and really enjoyed them. It was, by far, the best beef enchilada that I have had in a long, long time. For some reason, the beef never tastes like beef. This was delicious and beefy. The other enchiladas were also tasty, but the beef was the stand-out for me. Their salsa is slightly bland and could use some heat, but that is more of a preference thing. Give this place a try, you may like it.

Not to shabby! The service was excellent! Our waitress was new, but was patient and answered all of our questions even if she had to go ask the kitchen. The margaritas were very good! The salsa had good flavor but not hot what so ever. The queso dip also lacked flavor. I was most disappointed in the verde salsa, it was awful. Good thing the service and atmosphere made up for it. Our entrees were very tasty. Over all good experience, we both agree we would go back again!

Best authentic Mexican restaurant in Middletown. Very friendly staff and food is always fresh and delicious. They have a dish and I’m not sure what it was called but it was for two people and came in a bowl made from a lava rock that was full of meats and let me tell you, you can’t go wrong with this…

This place is nice, waitress nice and patient since I’m always bad on making decisions on what I eat. I got chips with guacamole liked it alot, not to happy with the salsa wasn’t authentic like I’m used to. I originally ordered Camarones Rancheros with shrimp and steak in a spicy sauce, there must of been a miscommunication cause I ended up getting Pollo a la Mexicana which was perfectly fine! It is awesome! The waitress was apologetic and offered to have the original order made but my food tasted so good I said no worries, when I come back I will just try it next time! I’m really satisfied with the food minus the salsa. Otherwise I definitely recommend this place it’s a little hard to find using GPS but I turned around and made it here!

The place is so scrubbed clean that it smells like a janitors closet. Your nose burns from the fumes and there is not a trace of food cooking aroma. The service borders on aggressive. The carnitas was a burned out dry wreck. No flavor, no moisture, obviously made days ago and reheated. The salsa was a can of tomatoes blended with some chopped onion. Bland. The chorizo was also bland. The refrained beans? Bland. This lunch was not worth ten bucks and it cost twenty. We will never return, and you should never come.

Great little secret in Middletown. Great personal service, yummy chips/salsa, fajitas, chicken flautas, beef tacos, with margaritas and Mexican beer. A must try!

Been coming here for a year now and have yet to have a ‘bad’ experience. Tonight was one of the best. The food has always been fresh tasting and high quality while service is as good as humanly possible considering this place can go from quiet to bustling in 20 minutes. My wife and I had dinner here tonight with my step-father and we left very satisfied and stuffed. My step-father had the Ultimate Enchiladas that took two plates to serve while my wife and I shared the Ultimate Fajitas. This sizzling platter came out with a mountain of steak, chicken, and shrimp so high it would have taken a platoon of Marines to conquer.(This was supposed to be 1 dinner?!?) We left with three boxes of leftovers. Not only were the portions good value(for us) but it was WELL executed and very tasty. Having lived in Texas for 10 years I can tell you it is not Gulf Coast fresh nor Laredo Ranch rustic but it is the best you will get in this Steeltown/Soybeanville area.(Unless you plan a significant drive or involving ICE.) Enough food to feed a revolution… and good enough to start one!
