This place is a wonderful facility for people learning ceramics! But if are already an experienced ceramicist looking for a place to do work, it’s difficult. Unless you take some many classes you cannot be a member. I love the faculty, environment, and facility, but when I was passively left a note on my shelf that I was not allowed to take things home to finish I felt very discouraged. I was paying the full Tuition for ceramics 1 classes(but have had over 8 years experience in Ceramics, in fact i just finishing a degree in ceramics). I was not able to make the weekend or weekday open studio times because of work. So I would take work home and finish(trim and carve). But when I revived my note I was incredibly put off not only because no one spoke to me in person but also they felt that I was cheating their system, when in fact I couldn’t take advantage of the times they provided and use my own space and materials to finish work.
