To put it simply this place isn’t bad. It’s kind of a dive and a little expensive but it’s alright

I had tried the burgers here before, but had a co-worker recommend the chicken fry. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it came out quickly and with a generous portion. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes and green beans and was amazed that both items were fresh and authentic and not frozen or instant! The country gravy has great flavor, isn’t too salty and is something to get an extra of to dip a biscuit in. If you are looking at one of the best chicken fried steak and chicken in Midland, give this a try.

I went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised especially because it’s off the beaten path. Unique old school feel with a good choice of menus items. Today I ordered the pork chops that where well seasoned along with green beans and the speciality beans(absolutely awesome btw). I enjoyed enough that my co worker wanted something while I was out so I got him the same thing and he is from Midland/Odessa and had never heard of Addie’s but throughly enjoyed it. My only knock is they are only opened for breakfast and lunch.

The burgers are huge. The staff is friendly and the food comes out at a decent time. The inside is a little dark, maybe need some windows open because it can get a little muggy inside. I ordered the chicken sandwich they had on special with mushrooms and diced onions and cheese topped, it was a little too salty, but not bad.

What a neat little place! I stopped in for a bite on my way back to El Paso. Kylie was my server and was very friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast food was great and they serve it all day. I was impressed with the homemade tortillas– very authentic– tasted like home. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the Midland/Odessa area again.

We decided that it was time for lunch, so we stopped at Addie’s Diner to eat. My wife had the California burger on a sourdough bun and I had the steak finger lunch with mashed potates, green beans and a salad. Our lunches were very good. Service was excellent.

Addie’s Diner is an awesome place to go for lunch. I work downtown and had recently heard about this place. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and the people are very nice! I ordered the popo’s jalepeno burger with Spicy Fries. This was an awesome burger and the spicy fries were not that spicy but very good! I recommend both! For my first time at Addie’s it made me want to come back again. They also serve breakfast. I recommend this place to all my Midland friends!

My husband and I had lunch here today and we ran into 5 of my co-workers there, who all raved about the food. I had the CA burger with home chips and it was delicious! The meat is fresh and seasoned! Cooked to a perfect medium. The home chips were really good! My hubs has chili dogs(very big dogs), which he loved and we split the 50⁄50 platter, which is a sample of fried appetizers. So good! I’m definitely going back to try out their breakfast and other lunch items. Service was extremely fast and very friendly.

We had a nice family breakfast at this cool 50’s Grunge Diner. Pancakes are fluffy. Daughter lived the omelet. My burrito was great. Hearty servings. Green Salsa is perfection!

We were looking for a breakfast place in Midland to try and we are so glad we stopped in here! The kids, ages 8 and under, ordered the breakfast burrito and an assortment of hash browns, toast, and bacon. They are not usually big eaters and every bit of food was gone! I got the chorizo scramble plate with chile verde. They serve it with fried potatoes and beans. It was a huge amount of very delicious food! My husband ordered the 2 egg breakfast with asado. It was also served with fried potatoes and beans. His eggs were fried and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and decorated well! We loved the diner feel. It is extremely clean and everyone there is friendly. We know this will definitely be on our top places to eat list!

This is one of a pair of go-to lunch spots for me in Midland. After several visits, I feel comfortable saying that the entire menu is amazing. Hand-breaded chicken fried steak, fresh cut fries, a double cheeseburger the size of a small child… All of these things will keep me coming back to top off my gullet over and over again. And let’s not forget the mashed potatoes. They actually began the day as fully skinned spuds, not some flakes in a cardboard box! It’s sad what a rarity THAT is. The menu is a mixture of diner classics and Tex-Mex favorites., all of which are seasoned and prepared with skill. And there’s something for just about everyone and every mood. Feeling like a light gnosh for lunch? Try the turkey sandwich. Needing something more substantial to get you through the day? The chicken fried steak or chicjen fried chicken may be what’s called for here. Craving an engineering and logistical challenge? Order the double cheeseburger and just TRY to eat it in the standard fashion! Go ahead! I dare ya! The place is absolutely packed between 11:30 and 1:00, so parking can be a bit of an issue. But the food has never taken longer than 12 minutes, from the time I ordered till it was set in front of me, and if you spend that time discussing the food with other patrons,(something nearly everyone seems willing to do) you’ll have a pretty good idea what you want to order on your next visit. Most entrée’ items are priced at $ 10.99 or below, with two catfish dinners being $ 11.99. And you get a lot of food for the price. Seriously, if you leave hungry, it’s your own fault.

Oh.Mah.Goodness! I work 5 minutes from Addie’s and hadn’t ever been. Cute diner atmosphere. I ordered the California burger on a homemade jalapeño bun(heaven!) with the homemade chips. Y’all,(that’s right. I had to start with«y’all.») amazing! And this was just two days after visiting one of Guy Fieri’s DDD locations in Austin, Top Notch Burgers. Addie’s rocked it BETTER than what I’d thought was a very impressive burger there! It was a BIG patty with tons of flavor. the chips were perfect. oh! and we ordered fried pickles that were yummy, too! Excited to go back and bring my husband! Maybe I should email Guy and get him to Addie’s!

I had the best club sandwich I’ve ever had in my life at this diner on my way through Midland. I was on my way across country and pulled over here tired, hungry and dusty(seriously, west Texas is just… dusty) and left very satisfied. They had what looked like some good Mexican food on the menu as well but my club sandwich was perfect. Good sandwich and a ton of fries to go with it. I would definitely stop here again.
