Better Floors

Better Floors recently helped us tackle a repair to our bamboo flooring at a café. The floor had been wet, and damaged, and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, what we thought was a simple job turned into a complex one, when we realized that the subfloor was damaged along with the bamboo. Rob and his crew worked to remove the damaged flooring, removed some of the subfloor, got the concrete re-​poured with self leveling concrete, and then installed brand new bamboo flooring. The project was complicated, and on top of that, it was Christmas eve. But Rob’s crew kept working until the job was done, and were diligent about their progress. Bamboo is extremely hard wood, and can be difficult to work with, but Rob’s crew stayed professional, and they took a lot of pride in the work they did. The floor was not a perfect match, but their work to feather in the lighter boards was appreciated, and ultimately the floor really does look great. Hopefully we won’t need to fix the floor again, but if we did, i would count on the Better Floors team to get the job done.
