Hardee’s

Loved this place, but as of May 2016, they are CLOSED. The food was great and the chicken strips were really good, big, tasty. I believe the 3 chicken strip combo is very filling if you not super hungry, the 5 chicken strip combo is good for sharing if you aren’t, or else if good for one person who is very hungry. Their burgers are thick, juicy and very tasty! Their prices are very reasonable. Never being overcharged. The dining area is big and always clean. I feel it’s pretty colorful and hip. Not boring. Seating in booths is very comfortable. We need more Hardee’s in the southwest burbs. The only gripe I have is (being a dad of twin toddlers), they need to have a baby changing station or family restroom. Basically, if you go there, there is no where to change your baby, unless you do it in the car or somewhere else. Oh well, nobody’s perfect. I still highly recommend them. The manager and staff are very nice, polite, cariing. The manager asked one of the team members to deliver the food to the booth/​table I was going to be sitting at. The staff here are very friendly. I stop by here a couple times a week. The Frisco Burger is the best. I’ve never had any problems with my orders here and they make it fresh to order each time.

Unbearably slow drive through service and super expensive for fast food… the food isn’t horrible though.

Disgusted!!! Is there a way to give –100 stars!?? First let’s start with Sandra whom took my order. She had no idea what she was doing and didn’t know what came on the burger! I work in food service so I understand being new is a challenge, but they should’ve trained her more before they put her on the front lines. The manager was very demeaning to Sandra. She came over constantly asking «Well what’s wrong with you?» «Having a bad day?» «Do you even know what you’re doing?» The food is a whole different animal to tackle! DRY, FLAVORLESS, COLD, EXPENSIVE than AND TACKY! The best thing I had was soda! Two meals ran us $ 15! Yes I called corporate. I AM DISGUSTED AND WILL NEVER VISIT ANOTHER HARDEE’S AS LONG AS I LIVE!!!

I wasn’t thrilled with this location when they first opened, but it has improved quite a bit. The employees are friendly, the unsweetened tea is great, and they can put any burger in a lettuce wrap for those with dietary restrictions.
It is much cleaner than other Hardee’s locations, and they haven’t messed up any of our special orders yet.

Came here to buy my son a late nite snack, from being on the road all day! Was met at the drive-​thru window by a most delightful smile from a young lady! Wish I could remember her name! We thought she was so sweet; especially at such late of an hour! Ordered (2) Original Thick Burgers and a combo! Food was good and hot as usual from other Hardees and the service was impeccable! Keep up the good work young lady!

Used to be good, now nobody goes there and the burgers are old, not hot, and terrible taste. Went there a couple days ago and both of us got sick from the food. Too bad, cause I been to other Hardee’s around the country and they are excellent.

Is there worse fast food establishment than Hardee’s of Midlothian? Its almost a guarantee that they will mess up your order in some way. Its so bad that I was beginning to become convinced that this was some elaborate joke on only me. Alas it is not as you can just ask anyone who has ever been there. Check your order before you leave. That is however if they serve you. I can’t tell you how many times they denied serving me breakfast because it was close to breakfast ending. Mind you I then drive over to McDonald’s, who has the same advertised hours of breakfast and I can order breakfast food. I’m not hard to please, just be coherent and attempt to serve food a little better.

Ordered the new ½ pound mile high bacon thick burger. When it came out I took a bite. No bacon. I must have missed it. But how do you miss it off of a burger that boasts mile high bacon, right? But #2, same thing. OK, check under the top bun, a pile of under cooked bacon bits that are 80% fat bits… I took it to the counter to discuss it. The 19 year old manger asks what it’s wrong. I said I know this unrealistic but the burger looks nothing like the picture and the juicy pieces of bacon is really bacon bits of fat. as I opened the lid to display the less than mile high stack of rendering, he profoundly stated that is how applewood bacon comes… Hmmmm, I said. Can you show me where it says I get applewood bacon bits? He bluntly sais, OK what do you want. Umh, from my order, I thought I was clear as to what I want.
Complete lack of customer care. Unacceptable food and service.

This place used to be awesome, but now there is a serious lack of caring, especially late night. Was never greeted, it took 5 mins for me to put an order in, and then once it was in, I had to wait another 5 minutes for my side to be dropped, and then 3 minutes after that.
Thus place used to be good, and cordial for that matter, but not any longer.

I go to Hardee’s almost every morning for coffee on my way to work. Today I waited 10 minutes in line after placing my order. There were 3 cars ahead of me and by the time I got to the window and asked why it took so long I was told they had to wait for biscuits to come out of the oven for the cars ahead of me I asked why they just didn’t pull those cars around to the side and I was told that 8 cars were too many to pull around. The order taker must have thought I was blind and couldn’t see that there were only three cars in front of me. Britney who took my order was completely rude I should have just driven right past the window and not even stop to get my coffee. I will no longer be going to Hardees

I’ve come here a few times in recent weeks and the staff is typically friendly and the food is fresh. The homemade biscuits during breakfast hours are to die for!

I have to update my review because I went to Hardee’s and ordered two kids meals. One with chicken and one with a cheeseburger. I paid a dollar something extra to have an extra piece of chicken. When I got home, not only was the extra piece of chicken that I was charged for not in the bag but the other kids meal only had a cheeseburger in the bag. There were no fries. They need to get it together with whoever is bagging the orders. No one wants to pay for something that they don’t get.

Very nice staff here but 2 out of the 3 times I’ve visited my order has been wrong. First time I ordered a burger, got all the way home to discover a turkey burger on a wheat bun when I was so looking forward to the dark brown artisan bun from my first order. The second time they neglected to put a few items in my bag. My «order is correct on the screen» but it appears the person packing my order or the one prepping it cannot read or perhaps there are some back of the house abbreviations that are confusing. Good burger and good chicken strips. Hope they can fix this.

3 stars only cause I like the burgers. Getting harder to come back when every time I do my order is wrong. 4^th time in a month, order incorrect every time. And these are the people wanting to raise minimum wage. How about starting by getting an order correct?

Great food great service. I’m especially impressed since it’s only the 1^st day and it was very busy.

I think it was only around a year or two ago that I was introduced to Hardee’s by my fiancée and now there is one a small detour away going to or coming from work.
Overall this place feels like they still may have some kinks as the drive-​thru took forever. I usually don’t care, but I was stuck behind an old beater and was slowly inhaling his exhaust. Not cool.
Food is standard Hardee’s fare. Overall, this place is okay.

So Hardee’s is coming back to the Chicago market and opening 35 stores. I stopped in at lunch at this newly opened store. For a new store they were doing a very brisk business.
I got a mushroom burger combo. I love mushrooms so this sounded enticing. The mushrooms they ladle on were overly salty almost to the point of being inedible. Unfortunately, I have to assume they don’t sell too many mushroom burgers and the mushroom topping sits around and the liquid get concentrated and salty. Yum. Combined with the overly salty french fries in my combo meal, this sodium chloride feast was my allocation of sodium for a while. Good they they give you jumbo drinks because I was thirsty for a while after.
Despite it being a new restaurant, I was also not impressed with the housekeeping. There was food, including buns, fries, condiments, on the floor of the kitchen area.
They don’t have chicken at this location like they do in other states. Good things: service was friendly and I got my food promptly. It was very busy at lunchtime but the line moved quickly.

I was very excited to see Hardee’s opening up in the former Krispy Kreme location. I have fond memories of eating at ones on my way to visit relatives in Iowa. They seem to have a good selection of food. I was hoping they would have the roast beef sandwich. Some do and some don’t. Alas, this is one that doesn’t. Instead I got the Big Hot Ham & Cheese and brought it home. It was good. For a new place (just opened on Tuesday), the service was remarkably quick.
