Jalapenos-lemon-pepper

My family and I love Lemon Pepper. Great food, great service and very reasonable. My family of five can eat here for the same as a fast food joint. Everyone always cleans their plate.

I had high hopes for this little local place. But the night I went was less than impressive. There was a large group who was extremely loud and a screaming kid running around not being controlled.
As for the food, the chips were stale, but the quesadilla was good.

Best combo fajitas I have ever had. The rest of the food is good and price are reasonable. Good little restaurant.

Jalapeño Lemon Pepper is a pretty typical small town Mexican restaurant. The food is pretty good, the prices are pretty good and the service is pretty good. I really like their chips, salsa and free black bean dip. They also have the best deal in town for dinner when their special is the fajita plate for $ 7.99 (I like the beef more than the chicken).

To start with, this one star review is not about the food. It’s the service! I’ve been a customer here probably since their first week to open in the original location. The food is good with a reasonable price. More recently when I go my waitress is the youngish Caucasian girl. Each occasion just gets worse! When I went one day last week she escorted me to a table, served my glass of water, took my order, then promptly forgot about me. She probably passed by me 15 to 20 times refilling other customers glass of water or soda, serving their 2^nd round of chips and salsa, etc. Moments before she served my order she asked me if I wanted chips and salsa. I replied that it would be nice. She brought my chips and salsa. Then the meal came. I realized it wasn’t exactly as I had ordered it and expressed that to her. She looked at me with a «deer in headlights» look and said she realized that but that was how the chef prepared it. And then she asked me if I wanted her to take it back. I said yes. I had also noticed when she brought the meal that it was missing the side of avocado.
When you go our for lunch or dinner the meal can be fantastic but the whole experience can be ruined by terrible service and an inattentive wait person.

This restaurant is in a new location around the corner from the old one. We come here frequently and the food is good every single time. The staff is friendly and very professional. Delicious chips and salsa and the daily specials are always yummy! My favorite place in Midlothian.

OK went there for the first time and was not impressed at all. The place is very small and crowded. I don’t understand what the draw is except maybe cheap gross food. To be fair the wife and I both ordered Mexican food which was due to a coupon we had. It was about as bland as it could be and not very good at all. I noticed most everyone else were eating sandwiches and burgers etc so maybe that’s a better bet but really this is just cheap gross greasy diner food. If your down with that then have at it!

They are friendly and the food is good. They have delicious salsa and black bean dip with complimentary chips as well. Their prices are really good too! My mom loves the chicken tortilla soup with ½ a quesadilla. My daughter loves the sour cream chicken enchiladas. I like the veggie chimichanga and bean and cheese nachos with jalapeños and sour cream.

What a nice surprise. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. It’s very small, but we tried it out today. Had the 3 sauce beef fajita burrito. Excellent!
