ONCEAGAINIT’S ON!!! So I’m at my favorite breakfast spot AGAIN and just when you think it can’t get any better the game is upped again. Had the farmers skillet AGAIN turkey sausage and fried egg whites!!! Man they get it right every time on point every time I just had to reiterate AGAIN this spot is the real deal breakfast spot. pancakes so soft and fluffy sweet enough to the point where you don’t need any syrup. They do breakfast right anytime of the day… Kudos to this joint IHOP and the rest of the places need to step their game up! They are way behind Keystone Café

Wait staff on point. Had breakfast– unfortunately very bland. Veggies not so fresh. Hash browns were a sad soggy lump. This place could be better. They have the tools. I think they quit trying so hard.

As an ex employee of this resturant please take my advice first hand — the place is INFESTED with mice and cockroaches. Just a concerned citizen trying to prevent others from getting sick or diseased. I am not just another disgruntled employee but just want everyone to beware of the risk they’re taking eating at this disgrace of a restaurant. Also the owner john is a womanizing alcoholic disrespectful sad excuse of a man. I feel sorry for his children and wife. Someone needs to teach him a lesson and beat him senseless. Also there is a certain waitress by the name of ariel who spits in peoples meals. So if you end up in her section asked to be moved. I am just shocked by what goes on in this establishment and would like to prevent people from having a horrible experience.

Ahh yes, a hardy breakfast for a weary traveler. The amount of food that was served to me could have feed the entire country of Africa. I have felt so bad for wasting so much food. I was pretty sad that my pancakes use covered in an ice cold apple concoction. Not the best, but cheap.

My boyfriend and I went to eat here this past Sunday morning for breakfast. Experienced one of the most terrible dining experiences ever. It started off so positive when we walked in. The owner greeted us warmly and seated us. We got our menus and the waitress-Roxanne –came and took our order. Then she turns to my boyfriend and points to the menu by his left side and says«can you hand that over to me, buddy?» We looked at each other like«huh?» Did she really say buddy? Is that the new professional way a waitress refers to her customers? Anyway, my boyfriend’s order shows up just as he ordered. Mine shows up totally opposite of what I ordered. Like not a single thing was what I ordered. She even brought me toast instead of the pancakes. The look on my face must have tipped her off that hmmmm something was wrong. So I told her. She apologized and went back to put in my correct order. Well she shows up like 4 minutes later with runny eggs(i had ordered over medium), pale hash browns, and lukewarm ham. Seriously, by this time I was expecting Ashton Kutcher and his crew to spring out and yell«you’ve been punk’d» Unfortunately, this was not the case. This was just a case of terrible service. But wait, I saved the crème de la crème for the end. Then I noticed there was a hair right freakkn on top of the pancakes. Thank goodness that this other waitress — Michelle — swooped in and prevented the stroke I was about to have. She took everything away and we started from scratch. She took our order, personally made sure the food was done right this second time. She kept checking on us during our meal. It is just not enough for us to come back, especially since at the end I complained to the«manager» and she had this distant«I don’t really care» attitude. Really phony character she is. So if you decide to dine here and are gonna complain, just ask for the owner.

Service was wonderful, portion sizes huge, but the taste and quality of food isn’t to my taste. Everything was a little bland have had way better at other cafes.

5 stars all the way! My absolute favorite breakfast place! Everything is soo good. Theres so much to choose from. they have everything you could think of and they have some really great combination plates if you cant decide. The omlets are amazing! I get the sausage and cheese. sooo cheesy with big juicy chunks of sausage! Or ill get the banana nut special… 3HUGE pancakes with bananas mixed in the batter, topped with nuts and fresh bananas. soo yummy! If I cant decide if I want eggs or pancakes/waffles/french toast. ill get one of the combinations. either grandma’s special or the 2×4. they give you so much food! Delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. Ive never had something I didn’t love! My mom and sister swear by the blackened chicken sandwhich. ive never eaten their lunch because I just love their breakfast too much. I did however have their cream of chicken and rice soup before which was delicious! Not only is the food great, but the service is too! All of the servers are so friendly and they are quick and well organized. Warm, homey atmosphere. I just love it here!

This is your average«Greek diner» that’s a south side staple. Not the best breakfast joint in the area, but it’s conveniently located and the food is decent. Our waitress was friendly and service was quick. Prices are good, and portion sizes are large. I only even ate half of my mushroom and cheese omelette. I’d go back, but it probably wouldn’t be my first choice.

We only go here for breakfast, so I cannot review there lunch or dinner items. My kids absolutely love this place, we go here at least twice a week. We walk in and don’t even have to order the Cook starts preparing our food, its always hot. People that work at this restaurant are real personable and nice, John the owner is a really good guy. Highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

Their soup and bread is what I normally go for. They also have really good skillets! Some of the food could be a little better. But the waitresses are always nice and they make you feel at home. It’s def a great family restaurant and the prices are reasonable!

I’ve been living in Midlothian for just over three years. I’ve always wanted to try this place. Today I decided to try it for brunch after church. I just left my car in the church parking lot and walked over. I got the 2 X 4, which is two eggs and four pancakes. I think I would’ve been better off paying the extra $ 0.20 and getting the two eggs and sausage and getting two pancakes instead of toast. It was good, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

I think the food was average. But picking up a few orders there the people working at the counter were rude and stoned face.

Food is awesome. Homemade salad dressings are great. Always count on a delicious soup to go with your meal. The problem I have with the place is that the waitress’ are somewhat unprofessional. I was having lunch there yesterday with a friend and our conversation was interupted 4 times by a waitress interested only in her own personal dilema that she thought my friend could help her with. It was really rude. Then another waitress chimed in as well. Unbelieveable.

The portions are good and the food is tasty. The staff is very nice as well. You can also order your food to go here and they have really good cofee. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because they add some type of cinnamon or something to the gravy that makes it sweet and it tastes gross. They should probably warn people about that or describe it on the menu.

this place is decent. My parents and I come here when we don’t want to travel far from their house. We come here for breakfast, have not tried any lunch meals here, but the breakfast menu is extensive and is quite yum. There is no WOW delish factor here, but for something convenient and if you’re looking for diner food, this is a good spot. there’s not much to choose from in this area, but this place is by far better than the other options nearby.

the food is really good for being so reasonable. The service is quick, and the environment is cozy. I was impressed by the salads, they have all the mixtures that really make a difference in their salads. Mixed greens, romaine, spinach, not just your typical iceburg mix. They always remember my son for some reason, they are really sweet to him and treat him like a little prince. I like going here!

This is your typical Chicago style neighborhood joint. Breakfast all day, plain or deluxe option on the sammies, we have all been to a hundred of these places. When dining in these places you have to be steadfast, and stick to your battle plan. Avoid the high end stuff, forget about the low cal stuff, it is a ruse, and typically jacked up 50%. I go with the basics, burgers, egg dishes and salads. When you deviate, that is when your experience begins to slip. Fish of the day, not a chance, there is a reason why you can’t get the Walleye any other way than fried. I had a very nice burger, cooked perfectly medium to my request, topped with cheap Spanish olives and cheddar, it was very good. My buddy had this big ass salad with a bunch of cold cuts and cheese, looked fine if you want cheep lunch meat thrown all over your iceberg. This was served with the complimentary bread basket, average bread, but hey what do you expect for under twenty bucks. Giant glasses for your drinks, huge menu, waitress with a raspy voice. A few wheel bound diners scattered around the floor burping out the names of their favorite staff. I would not hesitate to go back for a quick lunch.
