As someone who was trained in a very vibrant (yet extremely competitive!) ballroom scene in the MD/​DC area, after I moved to RVA I was looking for a studio that can help me reach my personal dance goals while still having fun.
Mairi and Tommy of MaiTy Dance was exactly the type of studio I was looking for.
I was impressed with them from the very beginning. From their amazingly polished website, to our productive first meeting to establish goals and expectations, to the thoughtful welcome card I received in the mail, MaiTy’s attention to detail, professionalism, and talent are the perfect combination for the type of dance studio the RVA community needs right now.
Most importantly, MaiTy’s teaching style is efficient but encouraging. Even though I had been dancing for a few years, I appreciated their training in terms of pushing me to work hard and grow into a more refined dancer. To see how far I have come working with them is an amazing feat in and of itself, and I am so grateful.
Hands down, I owe my renewed confidence on the dance floor to MaiTy Dance.
