My husband and I first stayed in this hotel in 2013 and while we were laying in bed two men that worked at the hotel just barged in. This time while staying for 3 days because I was close to the house that I had to move out, I was greeted by a man in the first window who was on the phone and was nodding for me to keep walking. I met the other man at the front desk and I got my room keys, as I was walking up stairs the wood under the carpet was squeaking. I walked upstairs and the room straight from the top banister a man was looking at me. I walked to my room and unlocked it, turned the air conditioner on. There were stains on the walls, and on the floors of the bathroom the counter in the bathroom was cracked. The water would build up in the sink even with the stopper up. The shower curtain looked really old and I didn’t want to touch it while taking a shower it didn’t look clean, the shower head was disgusting and dirty, there was black mold around the tub. The towels are supposed to be white but all of my towels always no matter how many times they were changed each day always had a huge yellow stain or little circle stains on them. My toilet paper was already almost done as soon as I walked in. The bed was comfy but the pillows had little marks on them, the grey sheet had big stains on them, and I wouldn’t sleep on the sheets only under the comforter, the sheets never went over the mattress like they were supposed to. There was a big hole in the right side of the mattress. I put the plastic thing that was on the door on the outside of the door asking for no maid service and every day when I came back the lady has been in my room she picked up my tooth brush and sat it on the counter because I had it on a towel, I had food on my bed and she threw the covers over the top half of the bed and the food was under my pillows. I went and told the guy at the front desk when I was checking out and he didn’t understand the fact that I was trying to tell him that I put the door plastic no maid sign on my door everyday and she still came in, he told me you need to put the plastic door cover on the door and I said I just told you I did that, and all he told me was I am very sorry miss. Also so no one would walk into my room as I was there alone I had to put the chair in front of the door.

Was a terrible stay. There was fur everywher and in the lobby I saw dog poop sweeped away in the corner, disgusting. The when I asked the lobby person why they hadn’t cleaned my room before I arrived they gave me a snobby response and said If I didn’t like it I could leave. But you know me so I just roughed it out, but I didn’t pay them on the checkout ;)

In Our room smells musty, the carpet feels moist and matted, we feel itchy in the bed, there is dog fur on the couch and dirt and hair matted on the air conditioning unit… The lights are glitchy and the smoke detector has been ripped out of the ceiling. The cable reception is grainy even after attempts to better the cable wire connection. There is mold around the tub. The bed is firm and the pillows are small and flat. The paint and décor looks ok and room is spacious but otherwise, this is a little disconcerting. There is urine down the side of the toilet which shows they don’t properly clean and that contributes to the smell. *we just spent a night tossing and turning with back pain. The bed SUCKED. I have been coughing all night in my sleep which I don’t regularly do. What also sucks is that we live 4+ hours away and both have to work tomorrow after another agonizing night here. I feel absolutely itchy but neither of us have seen any bedbugs. I am sad we booked with priceline and can’t cancel or get a refund. It’s obvious they are pet friendly bc there is fur on the couch. I have stayed at many cheap hotels across the country but this looks deceiving. Try to find somewhere nicer for a similar price!

Just a warning to those of you who have pets and are assuming that just because Super 8ADVERTISES that they are pet friendly, this one is NOT. We reserved online, but when we arrived, tired and hungry that evening, we were told our reservations were no good because they do not take pets. After a good cry in their parking lot, I got online and found a GREAT hotel on Midlothian Parkway called Comfort Inn. Check out my review on them!
