Amazing place with awesome food, great beers, and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Spätzle and Brats!

Fan-freaking-tastic! This is a go to for the friends night out. Get there early or lament not having a parking spot AND having to stand in a ridiculous line. People are packed in here for a reason though! BEST sauerkraut EVER. It’s…creamy? I’ve never had kraut like this before. AMAZING brats, wonderful perogies.

Another«meh» meal here, this time dinner. We were seated quickly and efficiently, server was great, but the beer(Viennese Amber lager) was off as was the food. Not sure why we’ve been getting cold dishes here, but this was the second time in two months we’ve been served off-temped food. Also, the spätzle was bland, dry and rubbery, even when mixed in the gravy of the dish which is inconsistent with prior visits. I know that everyone has an off night, but this is the second mediocre visit in a row. Bohemian, what is happening??? ****End of update 3/7/16**** A bit of disappointment the first time we tried brunch here. We arrived pretty close to opening and were seated quickly. The menu for breakfast looked amazing, but the food was delivered cold. I had hollandaise sauce that was chilly and my wife’s sausage gravy was warm at best. We couldn’t have been more than the third or fourth table to get food so it is clear the sauce was coming to temp from the fridge and the saucier just didn’t check it. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee tasted good and was hot and quick to refill. The soundtrack for the morning was fun and not too loud. The food, what was appropriately warm was good, but the cold sauces just sort of made it not as pleasurable. Also, this place is FREEZING in the winter and I wonder why they seated most of the first arrivals away from the fire place?! Saving room for the crowds later? So strange.

If you want GOOD food and plenty of it, this IS the place! Not to mention great beer, too! We went 3 times during our trip to Powder Mountain and Alta, and enjoyed everything, except for Potato pancakes, they are a bit too over fried, this could be our preference though. My Mom is Russian, and my fiancé’s Mom is Polish, and they make better, softer potato pancakes:) And one night we tried a buffalo burger, which was good, but we should have just stick to the European dishes. Goulash was amazing, so much meat! The pork shank-YUM! Pierogi and sausage –ORDERIT! Chicken paprikash –delicious! Also, what a nice atmosphere, very cool place, always so busy yet somehow you never wait for too long! I wish I could sample more than 2 tiny samples of the beer at once, but hey that’s the law:) Our waitress was wonderful, too. This is a MUST go place, especially after an all day skiing :)

Cool space and ambiance, and the food was amazing! I had the grilled cheese sandwich with feta, it was delicious and the garlic fries we’re so so so good. They also have $ 1 samplers for beer that are a pretty decent size, i’d recommend!

Beer was really good, food was so so. Service was a bit slow. Wife ordered halibut fish and chips, fish was good but overcooked! I ordered brats which were also cooked to long and they were for the most part-bland. Brats from Sams club have more flavor. The kraut was good and the mashed potatoes were good. Think I will stick with Siegfried’s deli on 200 S.

This place is probably my favorite place to eat in Utah. The staff, the beer, the food. Fun professionals who deserve utah business.

OBSESSED with this place! Such a gem! Amazing food, fun cocktails and drinks, and did I mention amazing food? The potato pancake appetizer is a must! Served with sour cream and applesauce! I still think about it. I had the daily special when I went which was a grilled stuffed chicken breast. My husband had the stroganoff. And we both had fun drinks! I loved their Bellini!!! This place has such a cool ambiance and I can’t wait to visit again

The only decent place I could find open on a Sunday in Utah. I’m from the east and not used to not being able to find a decent restaurant open on a Sunday. The beer selection is excellent, I sampled just about all of the ones they had available. I ordered the blackberry chicken because it paired with the beer I had started off with. It was excellent! The pierogi appetizer was great as well. I love the fact that EVEY menu item has a suggested beer pairing on the menu, especially since I have no idea how to pair food and beer. Our waiter was excellent and very prompt with refills and checking up on us. If I ever come back to this state I will definitely stop here again. And the view of the mountains makes an excellent backdrop.

Few eateries I know of have the old-world charm and warm mountain lodge atmosphere of the Bohemian. And the food and service are great to match. Their house brews are good, not great, but solid enough. Their calamari(brewmaster’s basket mmm) and Reuben are two menu favorites of mine. Sauerkraut is made in-house and is just strong enough. Garlic fries with house sauce are addictive. Their potato pancakes and garlic burger are tasty as well. A beef I have is a lot of their menu is overpriced. A lot of their dinner entrees, their pizzas, all could come down in price some. Patio is large and shady but gets intruded upon by cars in the parking lot. Over the years, I’ve grown to love this place. It’s the perfect place to take friends for a great night out. 4.5 stars.

We came here because of the rave reviews on the fish and chips. My husband is very picky about fish and chips. Oddly, the fish and chips were our least favorite. The calamari appetizer was amazing. We would come back here again.

They normally only do reservations for 30+ but, they accommodated our team holiday dinner, and I was very thankful for that! Excellent food, the guys had nothing but compliments and, I enjoyed myself! Great service, great drinks, and great atmosphere. Parking is tough, but worth the battle. Thanks for having our team!

The beer here sucks. My dad and I are from NJ and I live in pittsbirgh. I don’t think of either of those places as beer havens. But he and I are out here on vacation and were craving a good brew, found this restaurant on Unilocal, and we’re excited to try. First, they make you pay for tastes. Second, the tastes weren’t even good enough to finish. Any of the three of them. I had a cup of soup and it was fine but don’t come for the beer if you’re from out of town. Maybe it’s the best local beer you can find but I weep for beer drinkers in the city if that’s the case.

I had a great meal at Bohemian Brewery last week! We came on a Tuesday night, and the parking lot was packed. We were surprised, and followed the line of cars into the overflow lot. …which was also full, so we proceeded to the adjoining gravel field, forded the lake-sized puddle, and made our way into the restaurant. It was worth the trek! There are few enough German restaurants in the valley that the novelty is still fully intact for me, and I was impressed with the many traditional options available. I ordered beef stroganoff, and it was amazing. There were several huge, tender, medium-rare hunks of beef and the mushroom sauce was delicious. If I could change one thing, it would have been to include more mushrooms in the dish. My friend ordered the Bohemian chicken schnitzel, which was also really good. It was perfectly cooked, and the beurre blanc sauce went well with both the potatoes and the meat. I will definitely come back to Bohemian. The Bavarian lodge theme is fun, and the food was really good. If German fare isn’t your thing, their menu is vast and features pub favorites such as burgers and pizza.

I really only want to give this place three stars but it is a such a crowd pleaser that maybe it deserves four? Honestly it’s most accurately a 3 – 3.5, at least the three times I’ve been over the past couple months. Food: huge portions, consistently decent quality. Starters: sampler platter(they call it something else) is a great choice. I typically avoid samplers because they’re usually a mediocre array, but this one includes something yummy for everyone and we always go with a large group of coworkers, so everyone is happy. It includes calamari, toast to make your own garlic bread accompanied by roasted garlic cloves and chopped tomatoes for bruschetta making. Also, yummy garlic fries. Halibut may be added for an upcharge and it is well worth it, with large crispy delectable pieces of fish. Perogie sampler is also a great choice as they are quite delicious and taste very fresh. The crab cakes are pretty awesome too, and are served on a tasty bed of sautéed spinach. mains: you can’t go wrong with the chicken or pork schnitzel, on the side ask for the jagermeister sauce for a special touch(tastes lightly like cinnamon or nutmeg and it’s made from scratch in house.) The beef stroganoff and beef goulash all get good reviews from colleagues. I personally enjoy the halibut for my main but would swap the mashed potatoes for something else, as they are nothing special. I haven’t tried the spaetzel but wish I had. Crepes for dessert are nothing special. service: always friendly, and accommodating for large parties. The space is huge so there is never a wait and you can make a reservation ahead of time. If weather allows, outdoor seating is a great find as well.

*insert heavy sigh here* Cider. It’s a beautiful and lovely thing. It’s truly a gift from the gods. SO, I really don’t understand it when restaurants, specifically restaurants that feature alcohol, DON’T have cider. Not even in bottles. I’ll even take a can of the stuff. I just want cider and I’m tired of it being treated as if I’m requesting a solid bar of GOLD dipped in unicorn tears dropped into my hands. And like… the people of Europe drink LOTS of cider. Like a LOT. So I don’t understand when a «European style» brewery/restaurant doesn’t even have like bottles of any sort of cider. If you’re a beer drinker, you’re sure to find something delicious to drink. If you don’t like beer, good luck. It’s hard liquor or water! BUTWHATEVER. This is just me complaining now and it’s not entirely fair to the restaurant. Moving on! Food is pretty decent. I got pierogies, sausage, and sauerkraut and ordered a side of spaetzel.(to go with my traditional German beverage called Water) The pierogies were full of flavor and the sausage wasn’t half bad. The kraut wasn’t my favorite but it was decent with the pierogie flavor. The spaetzel was disappointing. It came out with no gravy on top. Just plain egg noodles in a bowl. But I still ate it because I’m shameless and I love spaetzel, even when it’s not good. I would definitely come again with friends who like beer, because the ambiance of the place is neat and has a very European flavor to it and the food was enjoyable. I’d love to come in the snowy times to feel like I’m in a pub in the German mountains and all. But during the warm times, the patio is nice and refreshing. Decent service, decent food, but no cider :(

As anyone, I am a sucker for a good sausage. Unfortunately, there are precious few(if only maybe 2 or 3) restaurants in Utah that serve German food. Seigfrieds is great, but it is in the heart of down town and thus a little more effort to get to. It is effort worth putting forth, but effort nonetheless. Fret not though! For you also have an option in the Bohemian Brewery. One of the obvious advantages they have over Seigs is their vast assortment of beers and brews. If you like sausages, and you like to drink a beer the size of small swimming pool, then this is the place for you. However, I wouldn’t limit myself to just sausage, for they have many other tasty menu items to sample. Garlic Fries — Yes Meatloaf — Yes Roasted Garlic Cloves — YES Pork Shank — Yes There is a lot to say yes to here. They also offer indoor and outdoor seating, the only thing they are missing is the view. I wish I could take these guys and drop them squarely upon a mountain top… and maybe you would have to take a Gondola to get to it… and maybe there is one of those super jowly dogs with the barrel around its neck that greats you at the door… Yeah…Yeah…

This place has been on my top list for some time now for lunch and dinner but this past Sunday I tried their brunch. They have brunch every Sunday and Monday until 3. The regular menu is also offered with the beer, wine, and brunch menus. I ordered the eggs florentine. This was quite tasty with fresh spinach perfectly poached eggs covered in a really good hollandaise sauce. It was served with country potatoes and fruit. Now I don’t like melon of any kind but they looked fresh and yummy. I would totally order this again. My husband got the special that day which was a breakfast burger. I took and tasted fantastic with a fried egg on top. We also really wanted to try the french toast so we ordered a side of that. it came out crispy as the description promised and in the middle was a subtle blend of cream cheese and black berries. I also had a mimosa and boy did this make for the perfect brunch!

i love this place and find that it’s always a pleasant experience when dining here. for my most recent visit here we were celebrating my dad’s birthday. our server was kayla and she was the sweetest ever. seriously an exceptional server and i hope she’s there again next time i go. my dad had a difficult time deciding which beer he wanted and she was so patient. she gave some recommendations and he ended up ordering some samples before deciding. she made sure our water glasses were always filled and as soon as one drink was finished would come back to see if there was anything else we wanted. she was also on top of things with food allergies and definitely cares about her customers. they do have a dedicated gluten free menu with quite a few choices. my mom got the salmon salad, i got the garlic burger gluten free, and my dad and thomas n. got the regular garlic burger. i didn’t try my mom’s food, but she really enjoyed her salad. my garlic burger was served on lettuce and cut into quarters with toothpicks to hold it together. i really liked that since it was easier to eat. it was so yummy — full of garlic flavor! plenty of cheese and perfectly cooked. the only thing i would change is that since i can’t have garlic fries, they should offer an additional side instead of nothing(regular burgers come with garlic fries). maybe like a small side salad or something? everyone else really loved their food and we were all pretty happy with our choices. we ended up sitting at the bar afterwards since my dad wanted to watch the soccer game. we ordered a few more drinks and the bartender here was excellent also. overall an excellent place to have dinner and if you go ask for kayla!

Ordered the pierogis and bratwurst, with a side of red cabbage(rot kraut) again. For some reason, my favorite part of the meal, this time, was the bratwurst and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut had this subtle sweetness that I really enjoyed. The rot kraut wasn’t all that tasty this time. A bit on the dry side, and too firm in texture for me. The pierogis were tasty with the dill sour cream and bacon bits on top. Only thing that would take these pierogis to the next level be onions sautéed in a vat of butter(Refer to my review of Sokolowski’s University Inn). This was a take away order, so I was very grateful to the hostess for including Bohemian’s signature bread and tapenade, which I loved. Great service, good food.
