I LOVELOVE shoes! This place is like shoe heaven for me! It is often organized, and clean. The customer service is great. The staff usually is walking around asking if I need help finding anything, and are very helpful. I like this place a lot!

Very clean and very easy to shop through. The clearance even had a few things that were cute on it! We were greeted, which is semi unusual as far as DSW locations go, but I liked it. We also had a helpful cashier lady. She seemed super ingenuine with her customer service, but it was really hard to pick up on that factor. She was still helpful and we left happy.

OK, I am pretty happy with DSW, I have been buying running shoes for YEARS at a certain PLACE and have been paying about 135.00 each time. I just found the EXACT same shoes at DSW with the extra arch support the other place said that I need(same Shoe) for almost ½ the price. Also, I am really impressed with their selection; they have a lot of shoes and a lot of high end shoes too. Customer service was pretty good, I just had to go up front ask someone a question and they took care of me immediately. Fast checkout, fast everything.

The cashiers today were SO helpful. They looked up my rewards info by my phone number and gave me the discounts without me having to bring in actual coupons which I love. They have different sections and sell a lot more than shoes – scarves, purses, jewelry, socks, wallets, hats, etc.

This DSW is pretty standard. Has all the good shoes at pretty good prices. Actually what I like about this business in general is that it offers shoes at a variety of prices. It doesn’t stop at the shoes though. They also sell hats, purses, socks and an assortment of other miscellaneous accessory items. The service is always nice when I go in. This location is great too. It’s surrounded by many other convenient stores/restaurants I like to shop at/eat at.

I’m always on the look for a good bargain, and there is a pretty large discount section at the back of the store. Of course, I probably don’t even need to mention this, but ¾ of the store, including the clearance section, is women’s and only three rows are men’s. If you like shopping on your own without any interruption, this location doesn’t have that many sales reps. I’m general you have to ask for help from someone at the register. I’ve had a couple of great experiences with the staff when returning items. They were very helpful and accommodating. They have a rewards card, just like a Smith’s card, that is free to register for and tracks all you purchases and sends you coupons based on your purchase history. This also helps with returns(they have all receipts and special promotions on file). Oh, and they have free shipping for members as well. My personal recommendation for the store would be to have a waiting area with a couch and ESPN for those husband that are tagging along.

This huge shoe store is just as its name suggests — it’s a big shoe warehouse with rows and rows and rows of shoes. I think they do throw around the term«designer» a bit loosely(you won’t find Jimmy Choo, Louboutin and Prada here), but you will find some decent mid-range brands like Nine West, Converse, Steve Madden and more — you know, the kind of brands you can actually afford and not feel guilty about wearing every day! The store isn’t fancy but it’s well laid out and very neat. They seem to have a wide variety of sizes in stock(I have big 10.5 women’s feet and I have been able to find some cute shoes right off the shelf here). There are more women’s shoes than men’s but don’t worry guys, there’s plenty for you to peruse. Be sure to check out the clearance racks in the very back, they sometimes have some sweet deals that range from 20% — 50% off and sometimes higher!

DSW comes through for me in the clinch in the rare times I have to stray from my beloved skater shoes and flip flops and I’m forced into more girly options. I needed some dressy heels to go with my Valentines day dress in a hurry, and I found something cute and suitable. I needed shoes for my wedding, and I didn’t find what I wanted in my size, and that’s usually the fault of this place in general. What you see if what they have. You either have to go online or go to another store if they don’t have it sitting there. I was just in again a few days ago in need of some practical work shoes since I am on my feet all day, and they had some Dr. Scholl’s flats that actually ended up being perfect. This location is decent, it’s closest to my house so it’s the one I frequent most, though the one in Sandy is pretty snazzy. Oh, also, if you’re ever in San Diego, the DSW’s there have Gucci. I’m patiently waiting for that day to come when they actually carry«designer designer» shoes…*sigh*

My sister was visiting from Idaho and this was literally the first stop she wanted to make. She didn’t even say hi or give me a hug, she just put a bag over my head after duct taping my mouth shut and threw me in the car and I ended up here. I remember my mother used to take me to this place in NY to buy dress shoes. I really feel this is definitely more geared towards women. There are tons and tons of lower priced shoes but nothing SUPER fancy. I had more fun watching every woman check out what every other woman was trying on than, than watching my sister try on heels. As a male, I probably wouldn’t come back here to shop for myself. Females may want to give it a shot. I talked my sister into the flats, she has three kids, let’s be realistic here.

DSW is pretty comparable to Famous Footwear and Shoe Carnival. Same big, discounty, warehousey feel. Usually when I shop here I feel like I need to carry a stick to keep all the overly friendly sales staff at bay, but today I was ignored by every sales person I walked by. Luckily for them, I really prefer to be left alone at this type of store. Otherwise, I may have been offended that I wasn’t smiled at, or greeted. DSW shoes are generally of a really high quality. You’ll see everything here from Birkenstock to Adidas to Steve Madden to Calvin Klein. Prices are pretty average, but if you’re scouting for a killer deal, like I always am, head straight to the very back of the store where all the sale racks are. There are usually some pretty good deals there, though you will have to do some searching.

Of all the shoe stores in the valley, this is definitely one of them. Here’s your standard DSW shoe store. Big store, tons and tons of shoes to choose from for both men and women, a few friendly salespeople to lend a hand. Prices aren’t too amazing, but you may save a buck or two here. They have a separate room in the back for their discounted shoes. Pay attention to the color of the discount sticker which corresponds with the % off of labeled price. Selection is varied and you’ve got a lot of styles under one roof. A definite plus for having a wider selection of Pumas than other places in town. This location is quite new, in the Family Center where Mervyn’s used to be. They renovated the space and split it into three different stores: DSW, Ross, and Michael’s.
