Love love love firehouse! Keep in mind I am not a big sandwich or sub guy and this is one of my favorite places to eat in all of Murray. I come here at least once a week. I love their hook and ladder and I love the hero. If you want a pretty good meatball, firehouse! OMG I love these subs. The meat is steamed. I don’t know of any other place that steams their meat. It makes the sandwich succulent and juicy and delish! Pickles are a nice touch. Be warned, the staff is over welcoming.(You can expect every single employee to welcome you to firehouse)… Part of the experience ;)

Similar quality to most Firehouse locations. I will say it was a slower wait to get my order but otherwise everything else was fine.

Of all the chain sandwich places this is one of best in SLC. I’ve been in there a few times now; it’s always clean, employees are friendly, and the service is pretty quick. I usually stop by around 4 – 5 so that may have something to do with it. I think their food is good but that it’s missing something to make it amazing, I have no idea what though.

Simply the best subs in town. Wish they had more specialty bread flavors tho. Turkey bacon club. Yummy!

Love this place… love their pull pork sandwich with coleslaw. I’m glad they’re close to where we live. Their bread is fresh… they know how to make a wicked sandwich

I’d say these are some of the best subs you can get. It is a little pricey depending on what you get, but the flavor and size of the sandwiches makes it worth it. The staff is always very friendly, and seem to be very productive workers. Have to wait a little bit during the lunch rush, but that is to be expected. The menu also has a good variety. Definitely one of my favorite places to go get good sandwiches.

I’m a big fan of Firehouse, and this location is now the closest one to my current living situation so… have all my money. I think steaming the meat for the sandwich is a great idea, it really brings out the flavors in the meat to make it tasty without the need for a lot of condiments. But that said, I am no fan of mustard, but whatever mustard they use is fantastic. My only wish is that they put just a little more meat on the sandwich. I get it from a cost standpoint, but it’s almost less than Subway. But all and all a great sub place that is much better than your local Subway. Make sure and check it out.

Nice subs. Love the hotsauce selections. Much better than subway. 5 stars if the service was a little faster.

Checked in today and had the Hook and Ladder. These guys really know how to make a sandwich right. I’ve been pleased with the various sandwiches that I’ve had, but I must say that I generally get the sandwiches without much dressing. So understand that when I get a sandwich it is generally without dressing. I like the taste of their meat without it. These guys also have pretty good customer service. Every time they greet me they look like they’re having fun. I would recommend the hook and ladder to anyone.

Average sandwiches. This place looks better than it tastes. I like the sandwich options, but I wasn’t a fan of the bread and the meat was average. I much prefer Jimmy Johns, if you’re looking for a sandwich.

My husband and I have loved everything we’ve had there. Not your typical cold cut sandwiches. Most are served hot on a soft roll. They have things like corned beef and mushrooms– things you don’t find at Subway. The price is a bit much for our whole family to eat there, but the taste keeps us coming back when we can.

I have been to other Firehouse Subs in my area, but this one is by FAR my favorite. The whole entire staff was so friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. And they didn’t skimp on anything on my sandwich! The sauce and meat was on there. Full of flavor. Tons of drink choices. We even had a manager come around and ask how our food was! Absolutely brilliant! The only Firehouse that has kept my business!

Never had firehouse before, wasn’t sure what to expect. The Philly with firehouse sauce was a pleasant surprise. Didn’t like the extra details and interview at the counter but will definitely come back when I’m around.

This was my first time eating at a firehouse subs, got to say they are wayyyyy better than subway. When we went it was hard finding a seat, but the food and service was great. Will defiantly be back.

We are big fans of this place in our house. I’ve visited multiple Firehouse Subs locations in the last year, and I love how consistent they are from location to location. Even in Las Vegas, the subs are always very much the same. Tonight we had the Hook and Ladder, The Engineer and a turkey kids meal. Everyone was pleased, as usual! We also are pretty much in love with that sauce they have… I’m not sure what it’s called, but it’s like a spicy ketchup that compliments the deli sub very well. The service at this particular location was great! Ceanna was who rung me up, and she was very polite and thorough. The extra touch of the fire hat with the kids menu makes this fun for kids, too. My son still has it on. We took our food home tonight, but the café was very clean and pleasant. The ONLY complaint I have is how the takeout food is packaged. They use a paper bag on it’s side, so it is limp and you have to hold it closed. I appreciate them trying to prevent all of the sandwich toppings from sliding off, but it’s so inconvenient to carry out and load it into the car. If I had my toddler with me, it would have been nearly impossible without help. I feel like the food would stay hot longer if this was done differently. We will definitely be back!

Just had lunch here for the first time and it was delish! The #10 — Barbecue Beef Brisket was the best barbecue sandwich I have ever had!

Delicious subs. Not a lot of variety though, and dining in is like being at a McDonalds. That said, the food is yum. Just be sure to get it to go.

Steaming meat. That’s what I think of now when I think of Firehouse. Steaming meat. Moist. Juicy. Sweaty. That’s the approach they take with their sandwiches. Every bit of meat goes into a shiny little compartment. I’m not sure if it’s steam or just hot water or what, but when the pack of meat comes out of there it’s sweating. They slap it down on your bread, top it, slice it, and you’re on your way. Besides the wetness of the meat, you’ll also notice the quantity. I had the Hook & Ladder, and there was a lot of meat loaded onto that thing. It’s sliced thin and stacked on there. Ham and Turkey with a little Monterey Jack. It all oozed together and although I ordered a large, I shared it so I can’t say if a large would have filled me up. I’m what they call a big eater, though, so YMMV. I say sweaty, steaming meat like it’s a bad thing. It’s not, per se, but if that’s not your style and you prefer a little more deli style meat layered on then this isn’t your shop. I could probably do a whole one, but after that the oozing and sweating would play mind games and I’d probably be done with the texture. They’re super friendly. It’s fireman themed(well of course it is) and the incessant«Welcome to the Firehouse» shouted by EVERYONE behind the counter whenever ANYONE walked in was a bit much, but I can appreciate the thought. A sammich alternative. I’m not jumping up and down to go back, but it’s nice to have them in the neighborhood.

This is a damn fine sandwich shop. I had the #5. Some sort of turkey, bacon, peppercorn ranch thing. It was juicy and absolutely delicious. The interior of the place is clean and comfy. Sort of a cafeteria with better service vibe. They have a guy call out your name and bring your food to the table. I had zero complaints about the food and service. They donate lots of money to local first responders, which I think is very cool. I’ll definitely be back to Firehouse.

Firehouse Subs serves up some good sandwiches at this Fort Union location. I’ve eaten here a few times and my food has been pretty good. For the price I think the portions are a little small, my sandwich today for example easily had 10x more lettuce on it then meat and cheese, but it tasted good. The meatball sandwich is a favorite, with a good sauce and juicy meatballs. The staff is friendly, maybe a little too friendly, anytime a customer comes in everyone on the team automatically says, «Hello!» But too much cheer never killed anyone right??? If you’re looking for a good sandwich shop give Firehouse Subs a try and see what you think. You may like or you may love it. Either way it’s a decent place to grab some lunch.
