I’ve seen these pop up around our area and decided to give it a try. Pretty good. Not fantastic, not my favorite drive through-chicken-only joint(still prefer the waffle cut fries) ;). Zaxbys was interesting. Their fries were«seasoned» and too salty; the chicken strips were moist and the zax sauce was… ok. Edible. Just not something is crave.

I’ve been here a few times with no problems, yesterday evening I went and ordered 3 wings and things for 4 kids to share including myself to pick at. All of us are awake now at 4:53 am puking up what we ate.

I moved here from Georgia and was the happiest girl in the world that Utah had one close to my work! However, a few weeks ago I went in to get the fried chicken house zalad, and 4 hours later I was throwing it all up. I was up from 6pm to 8am the next morning puking my brains out. I went to the doctor and confirmed it was food poisoning. That was all I had to eat that day, and I’m so disappointed. After I got better I did some research and saw that this exact location, among many others throughout the US, have HORRIBLE health inspections! People at my work stated they do not go to any Zaxby’s because of the poor health ratings. So as a former Zaxby’s fanatic… I must say be careful what you eat here and be sure you check their health scores! I’ve seen a few employees not washing hands! If I get anything fast food in the future, it’ll be from Chick-Fil-A! :(

I love the food here! The meals come with a lot of food and it’s always been fresh. They have salads if you are looking to be abit healthier but the fried chicken is good eatin! There can be a wait sometimes if you order something out of the ordinary. Some cheese curds took about 15 mins extra to get to me.

I turned into one of those people… Those people meaning Zaxby’s contacted me to correct their mistake and I didn’t update my review. Shortly after posting my pervious review Zaxby’s contacted me wanting me to give them another try. And I’m glad I did! After going back I ordered the exact same thing and it was a night and day difference! Not only will I be back because of the great food but because they took the time to reach out to me. Good on ya Zaxby’s! You’re the kind of company I want to support!

Eaten here several times now. Very delicious. Our whole family enjoyed it. I usually get the wings n things and my husband the finger plate same with grandma and grandpa. The chicken is crispy and delicious. Zaxs sauce is amazing with it. I really enjoy the fried cheese as well. My sister came from Texas she enjoyed the chicken sandwich very much.

Came here craving some chicken with honey bbq sauce and ranch. Like I did last week. Now they don’t carry a key ingredient for my decision to come here. Very disappointed. Poor selection of sides, french fries are not very good at all. for an eight dollar bill not very filling at all. Service was actually really good.

I love their chicken. It’s cooked just right, with the right amount of sauce. Their chicken is always serve hot. One thing I enjoy is hot food served fast that that’s what zaxby’s does. It’s always clean when I walk in and I love that the manager walks around and asks us how the food is. THESERVICEISAWESOME

Food is great. Service is «meh»… Everyone is new because it’s a new chain to Utah and it is hard sometimes to be patient for me. I’m from Georgia(where Zaxby’s thrives like McDonald’s) and I just have higher expectations than what I’m getting at this one… BUT– I continue to go. I love the chicken finger platter. If you dine-in, it’s a great set up, but small.

I kept passing by on my grocery trips to Winco, and finally we decided to stop in and have lunch. I really liked the layout and design of the restaurant, it feels homey while at the same time fun and modern. The staff was very nice and helpful in explaining all of the menu options. They have meal deals which come with an entrée, fries, and a drink and are pretty reasonably priced. I got the boneless wing meal and I tried the original(buffalo) and honey bbq sauce. The original wasn’t the best, it had a weird tang to it, and I usually love buffalo sauce. The honey bbq was pretty tasty though. The meal came with 5 wings and 1 of them was completely fat and gristle so that was a bit gross. I like the crinkle-cut fries themselves, but the seasoning salt wasn’t the best and they were drenched in it. I might come back to try something else on the menu, but I definitely won’t be a regular.

Was out and about with the family when we got to thinking about dinner. Made the mistake of not ready many of the reviews, but thought three stars wasn’t too bad. Boy were we wrong! The chicken was dry, the fried mushrooms, while good in taste, were way over battered, the dipping sauce tasted awful, so much so I thought maybe it was trying to be ranch but had turned or expired! And while we thought it was nice that they try to maintain a clean location, they really should not be dusting fans while customers are eating! That should be an after hours job! Eating dust, not my taste! My husband and niece enjoyed the fry sauce, but that was about it. I for sure will not be returning.

Had a Cobb Salad and fried mushrooms from the drive through. The service was great, very friendly and fast. I cannot say the salad was great, but was better than most drive through options. I did feel the pricing was a little high for basically fast food. Probably won’t be back again, but fried food isn’t really my favorite.

It was okay. A bit pricey for fast food, I got some chicken tenders, fries, and two pieces of toast for more than $ 10! The chicken was tender, but the fried covering was a little hard to get through. I found myself picking away some of the crust and trying to get to the meat. However, I do give the fries 5 stars all around, there was some sort of seasoning on them and dipping them in the Zaxby’s sauce made them that much more incredible! The bread was buttery and greasy – not my go to option either. If I were to go back, it would be for the fries and the employees. They were great at giving me suggestions and getting our food out promptly. Oh, and the fancy soda dispenser – that was pretty neat. TIPS&TRICKS: * Again, the fries are worth it. Go at least once and give them a try, you won’t regret it. * If you’re not a fan of «pepper-y fry sauce»(which is basically what the Zaxby’s sauce is, you can opt for some ketchup.

Ok so i am a little biased. I really like Popeyes so when I went to zaxby’s i kept comparing everything to popeyes. For an attempt to write an honest review I will try my best to only think about zaxbys. So I went during lunch with some friends and the place was packed! Even this place gets hit during the lunch rush-hour. I had the Chicken finger plate. The service was slow but understandable because of how packed this place was. The chicken was well seasoned and the exterior was crispy(not oily) but wasn’t as moist as I would liked it to have been. It came with a toast! A step and beyond the competition! :P But I will say that their fry sauce was pretty good. Cant complain about that. All-in-all it was an OK place. Wasn’t bad but I have had better. Maybe I will have to try it again when they aren’t so busy.

Zaxby’s was ok — it wasn’t bad but next time I would go to a similar place like Popeye’s. The chicken is tender, pretty good flavor and of course comes with«Zaxby’s sauce» which is a good compliment. This location is pretty new, it’s clean and easy to find. Service was normal — nothing bad but nothing extraordinary. One thing I did love was that their water cups were huge — basically the same size as a drink cup. Most places give those cheap, small, styrofoam cups so I was pleasantly surprised to get a big cup.

Ok, I really wanted to try this place for a few reasons: 1) it is mighty close to my residence 2) they have a billboard that says over 1 bajillion taste buds served. Close location plus over 1 bajillion taste buds? I had pretty high expectations if over 1 bajillion taste buds had been served. I ordered the boneless wings meal and told them I was a complete wuss when it came to spice. So they told me to go with the Winpy sauce and I would be fine. I cannot imagine what the other sauces taste like because the Wimpy is spicy and flavorless. I was not a fan. The chicken was cooked well, it was basted nicely, and there was plenty. The fries were also well cooked. The sauce, meh, it just was not my thing. I do have to say this: the staff was just super friendly and the joint was clean. They were playing the sports, and they had a lot of sports things up on the walls. So I would say that if you are a fan of the sports, and buffalo hot wings, this place is for you. The food was reasonable priced and they are family friendly. I will probably be back if I am with a group that wants to eat there. But I think what I order will just be sauceless. If the Wimpy is too hot for me … yikes!

Indescribably meh… This was our first go at the new Zaxby’s and probably our last. Walking in you can tell their marketing department is well paid. Everywhere there are signs and wall art praising the awesomeness of their food. We ordered a couple of club sandwiches, a wings and things and a boneless wings and things. We ended up spending about $ 40.00. The food arrived quickly and was disappointment at first sight. Small portions. Sad, overdone chicken. Nothing was hot. They even skimped on the celery. I can’t tell if these guys are trying to compete with Chic-fil-a or Popeye’s but they fail at both. Take some advice, spend a little more effort into your food and less into your marketing campaigns.

This is an obligatory review from Zaxby’s biggest fan. I can(and may) post this review about each location I visit, simply because the truth is relevant to every location. The food is the same no matter which Zaxby’s you visit, even though the service or prices might vary slightly. If you are a beginner to Zaxby’s, I strongly recommend that you get something like a «Big Zax Snack» or something with regular chicken tenders and some sides. You should definitely be dipping your chicken into Zax sauce. It will change your life. If you’re a ranch fan, that would also be a wise choice, but do NOT pass up on the chance to try(and fall in love with) Zax sauce. Zaxby’s is all about the sauce! Now, as for my favorites, my «usual» typically includes Hot Honey Mustard fingers(ordered as «Buffalo Fingers, hot honey mustard»). The Hot Honey Mustard is not spicy, but does have a «zing» to it. It is not like any honey mustard you have had before. Chicken fingers tossed in this sauce are like heaven, yet I still will sometimes dip these into ranch, for a sauce combo punch! It’s not crazy, as you will sense later. I also have a great love for the«Tater Chips». I love them best when they are«semi-floppy», and not all the way crispy, but they are still amazing no matter the texture. Dip these bad boys in a sauce of your choosing, but I tend to prefer Ranch :) . Another good choice is the«Kickin Chicken Sandwich». Normally I’m not a sandwich fan, as this is a chicken place, the focus should be on the chicken. Well, there is nothing new with this sandwich, because it’s basically composed of the«Texas Toast» with some tenders, with a combo of two sauces(Tongue Torch and Ranch by default). It is customizable with whatever two sauces you want, but the default is good too(think hot wings + ranch). This sandwich is terrible for you, I’m sure, since it’s super greasy toast, with chicken and two sauces, but OHMAN it is good. Now, no review would be complete without the downside. There is of course the«downside» that you will become addicted to Zaxby’s, and you will end up turning over many a paycheck to these guys, but all deserved for sure. There are some things at Zaxby’s that I don’t eat, just because. When you order«buffalo fingers», you can choose your sauce to toss them in, these are conventionally served with celery. If I order this online, I have them hold the celery(I don’t want it, so you can keep it). I do not eat Zaxby’s «bone-in» wings because their chicken tenders are WAY better. I also do not eat the«boneless wings». This is a somewhat newer addition to the Zaxby’s menu, but are not as good as the tenders. Do yourself a favor, and stick to the good stuff: Chicken fingerz, buffalo fingerz(hot honey mustard being the best), some Texas Toast, fries, tater chips, mushrooms, or Kickin Chicken Sandwich. My dad loves the slaw so much, he has been known to go through the drive thru JUST for the slaw. I have gone through just for the sauces.

Stopped at Zaxby’s for a quick bite because it’s a new chain to Utah. Overall I was not that impressed. They specialize in breaded chicken, but I’d place similar restaurants in this order 1) Chick Fil A 2) Popeyes –across the street 3) Zaxbys Decided to try their specialty, chicken fingers. Ordered the«Kiddie Fingers» meal which is two small chicken fingers, a few fries, drink, and a prize –which was Curious George fruit snacks. The breaded chicken fingers were very small and really lacked any flavor from seasonings. However they offer crinkle cut fries which were different and tasty(yet again Culvers across the street features the same thing). The house made dipping sauce is called Zax sauce which is a blend of fry sauce, garlic, and a hint of worcestershire. It wasn’t zesty but reminded me of thousand island dressing w/a kick. Overall I didn’t taste any lasting appeal or a reason to make me come back.

Found this place on our way to WinCo and thought we would try it out, in a bit of a rush we opted for the drive up. No customers inside, nobody getting to-go orders. I thought maybe it was because this place was new. Tried out a few items as you can see from the pictures and it was very sad, everything was overcooked and deep fried, the sandwich bread tasted like it had been deep fried too. Besides not having much meat or anything else in it wasn’t worth the price. Don’t think I will come back and don’t see a bright future for this restaurant. I give it 6 months before the place closes down.
