Delicious fresh and unique! BYOB Very friendly and accommodating. We went last night in between the JV and Varsity girls basketball games. We got in and out freaky fast! It was a wonderful first time experience.

I have lived right around the corner but have never been here until tonight. Great food, nice interior(no longer looks like a house inside). Had the Reuben eggs rolls(yum), the fig, sausage, cheese and Carmelized onion flatbread(triple yum!), and my hard to please son had the most gigantic buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever seen and he loved it! The hot tea selection was exquisite. Reasonable prices. So glad I finally went. We’ll be back!

Finally got around to trying this place. They fit us in even though we didn’t have reservations, but I would highly recommend getting a reservation on weekends. Great service, Kid friendly. Also it is BYOB but fortunately Miami Market drive through is across the street. We had the Alligator and Chips, Reuben Burger, horseradish mashed potatoes, and The smoked salmon pasta. Everything was delicious and huge portions. I was sad that I had no room for the homemade doughnuts and hot chocolate. Oh well guess I will save room next time.

So we had a Groupon for this restaurant, but it had expired. We wanted to use the face value anyways, and I’m glad we did. It was not in our neck-of-the-woods, and we nearly missed it! It seems like a converted house, which made it interesting. The philosophy of the restaurant was a big draw for us — local, seasonal ingredients and an environmentally friendly viewpoint. They even use non-toxic cleaners! There is a wine bottle display, so we were a bit disappointed that they do not serve alcohol. It is BYOB. Should have investigated more thoroughly before going! My hubby ordered the steak of the day. He was VERY happy. Cooked perfectly and delicious. I wanted pasta and decided on the blackened pasta. This also was very good. Service was friendly, and food came in a timely manner. The main reason we may not return is that it was quite a drive for us. If you are in the area though, give it a try! And BYOB: o)

This place is just amazing! The service is great and the food is delicious. We tried four items on the menu and none disappointed. The grown up grilled cheese is delish and save room for the apple crumble. It is worth the drive from downtown Cincinnati and I will definitely be back :-)

I’ve never had anything I hated. Their Reuben burger is heavenly, I’d like to eat that every day.

Best steak and eggs of my life. Listed as a daily special, but they should open every day for breakfast!

I went to Bite last night and was completely blown away! We received wonderful service and I was so impressed by their menu options. Their menu was so unique and we had a hard time deciding what to get. I got the Healthy Bite Salad, which was incredible. My boyfriend got their buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes, which was equally delicious. We loved our food so much that we had to get dessert. We ordered the donuts and they were the perfect ending to an amazing meal! Bite is my new favorite restaurant and it’s a wonderful new addition to our community! I would highly recommend it to any foodie!

I love the idea. I wanted it to be good. It just wasn’t. From the teenager taking my order that was not informed about the food to the fish tasting like a child’s first aquarium. 3 stars for now. I will go back and give it another shot.

As other reviews have mentioned, the restaurant is actually a house that has been converted. Seating is limited and they do not have a liquor license but you can bring your own beer, wine or liquor. I had the blackened cajun chicken sandwich with no ham. It was excellent and would order it again and again. I also tried the fries and mashed potatoes. They were average but nothing that really stood out. The service was prompt and friendly. The portion sizes were above average. Overall, the members of our party were very pleased.

What a great surprise! We decided to have an adventure and head here last night, about 35 minutes from our house. While it wasn’t super easy to find, it was a really cute old house with a garden in the front. We had a reservation, which was key as the whole place was full at 7:30 on a Friday. The ambiance is homey, it is a little loud when completely full, but not terrible. The food was outstanding, everything we had was lovely and well presented. The prices are very reasonable and being BYOB makes this a cheap night out. If we lived closer, we’d be here once a week. We’re already planning to go back and deciding who we should bring with us!

Had the blueberry maple salmon and it was very good — on a bed of brown rice. Wonderful place near Milford, OH that you would never expect. Funky and veg but they also have New York Strip Steak and other carnivore fare. It’s a BYOB so the prices are reasonable. The building is a 1950s ranch house converted by knocking down the walls so the ambiance is not romantic but it is homey. It was reminiscent of the 50s Prime Time Café at Walt Disney World Studios without the TVs. If you want some slow food and you’re in the area, you should stop by.

This place… I was super excited to try it since they grow a lot of their own produce and I love to support restaurants that do that. And I read so many positive reviews that I was encouraged. Even when I arrived to see the odd little house with the small garden in front, I just laughed. I knew my husband would start voicing his concerns that we had just driven 35 minutes to check out another crazy, foodie place on my list. We all ordered burgers. My husband and my friend both did create-your-own and I did the burger with pulled pork. My friend said her burger was the best she’s ever had. And my husband seemed pretty happy with his choice. But I have to say that other than the generous portion, I was underwhelmed. My burger and pulled pork were very under seasoned. Even the cheese goodness that was melted on top couldn’t do enough for the lack of flavor. It’s very possible that I simply tried the wrong dish. I’m absolutely willing to believe that they have other dishes that are absolutely awesome. But unfortunately, I live pretty close to downtown and this is a part of town I rarely have an excuse to be in, so I doubt I’d make the drive just for this place. However, if there is a time when I happen to be in these parts, I’d be totally willing to give it another shot.

Everything I have had here is wonderful. The cheese plate gives me butterflies in my stomach :) Several varieties of cheese from mild to strong, figs, nuts, bread and berries. It is so good. The Reuben egg rolls, pulled pork sliders, the Brie, apple and Walnut Flatbread, and the Bahn mi lettuce cups are all incredible appetizers. We have tried many of the salads, all good. The pasta dishes are better than anything I can make at home and I thought I knew how to make great pasta :) Anyway, try it, you will love it.

Best salad I ever had in my life(the Healthy Bite with goat cheese, grapefruit segments, curry molasses dressing and chicken in addition to the usual salad suspects). My dad had the best sandwich of his life(grown-up grilled cheese with caramelized onions and four kinds of cheese). He’s 95, so that’s saying a lot. I LOVE this place. It’s so nice to go somewhere that is ambitious with its menu and concept and yet unpretentious. Those who gripe about the décor are clearly NOT all about the food. It is common for true chefs(not cooks who reheat GFS stuff) to launch their concept in modest surroundings: it’s part of the fun!(Cook’s House in Traverse City comes to mind, as does Georgina’s.) And I, for one, am not insulted to dine in an old ‘60s ranch with old chairs and pergo floors.(The booths were NOT raggedy, as another Unilocaler mentioned.) Everything is homemade, from the salad dressings to the ice cream(it was honey fig today). They even corn their own briskets. And many ingredients are grown right in the front yard. We were there at lunch and the service was excellent. Could I imagine them getting a little overwhelmed on a Saturday night at 7? Yeah. But that’s OK! Again, that’s part of the fun. That’s what make this a far more personal and rewarding experience than, say, The Precinct or Eddie Merlot’s, or chains like Maggiano’s. This is the kind of business I like to support… and the kind of food(healthy, local, homemade) I like to eat.

We had dinner there last night with my daughter and son-in-law. The décor leaves a lot to be desired and it was very, very noisy. The young waitress was nice but clearly untrained and not knowledgeable of the menu. We had the brined pork chops. They were so salty as to be nearly inedible. There is such a thing as over-brining! We found the menu to be rather disjointed and strange. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been coming here for almost two years; in fact, it’s the only place I eat lunch when I come to the Cincy area. Having been here more than a dozen times, it’s never failed me. The owner, Rachel, is fantastic: she’s a foodie and really gets excited about what she’s doing. The food is consistently good, and everyone I take there(I introduced many people to the place) really enjoys it. I’m someone who is a picky eater, and who eats out seven days a week(no fast food, and rarely chains), and I’ve gained a reputation for finding hidden gems. Trust me: check out this place! To be balanced, a couple of the servers have been the weakest link there(they just can’t provide the knowledge and service that Rachel, the owner, does).

I’m not totally sure how I feel about this restaurant. It didn’t really impress me with the food but I also didn’t find anything to be outright bad. I had the Zymarika which was fettucine in a cream sauce with salmon, spinach, capers, and feta. It tasted fine but wasn’t anything spectacular. My wife had the grilled shrimp over pasta with a pesto sauce. Once again everything tasted fine but my wife complained that the sauce was too oily. It tasted like the pesto had been made with butter which is not a bad thing but the pasta was swimming in oil(you could see the pool of oil in the plate). I also was able to try the chocolate cake which was good and very rich. The menu is kind of random with lots of items being served that don’t seem to fit together. In one restaurant you can get rueben rolls, a cheese board, bahn mi lettuce cups, burgers, a super food salad, ribs, lobster mac and cheese, and creamy fettucine. There is no general theme to the restaurant and everything including the location all seems random and thrown together. From what I was able to taste and see nothing was bad but nothing seemed great either. It was an okay restaurant and while I don’t have any desire to return I will at least give it three stars. The service was nice and attentive without being overbearing. It is BYOB and there is a store right down the street from which you can purchase beer or wine so keep that in mind if you visit.

Get the bananas foster — AMAZING! We really enjoyed this restaurant in Milford — at first we were a bit sketched out as the restaurant looks like it’s in a little ranch style house, but the inside was really cute and food was fantastic. I would absolutely go back.
