IHOP

Went there on Wednesday night, which is «Seniors «night. They had 1 waitress on the clock at 6pm. Had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. Meanwhile, 4 groups of people came in behind us. 2 groups walked out disgusted with the lack of service. This is the 2^nd time I’ve been there and both times were an unmitigated disaster. Steer clear of this IHOP if you are hungry because it may be a very long time before you get a sniff of food here. By the way, the food was lousy, probably because of the ridiculously under staffed situation which we heard from one of the waitresses was caused by most of the staff calling in sick. Management problems? Sure sounds like it! Don‘t waste your time or your money here.

I eat here often. I think the food, service and price are all really very good. If I want something changed with my order they are more than happy to accommodate. They have many options that I enjoy and find their service timely and tables clean. I know that everyone is working, so I leave a good tip and you should, too.

We visited this location on Tuesday night ⁶⁄₃₀ after a concert at Riverbend. There were 12 people sitting in the lobby area when we walked in (two or three separate groups, I believe), who all told us they had been sitting there for more than 20 minutes. One group left so we sat down on the bench and waited… and waited.
From what I could see, there were only three tables with people dining. I saw one waitress, the manager (I’m assuming), and two cooks who kept peeking out at us from the kitchen.
Fifteen minutes went by and not ONE of the employees came out to even acknowledge any of us. At this point, we decided to leave. I understand it was a Tuesday and may not usually be busy, but even just one more waitress would’ve helped. Regardless, to have sat there for that long without someone acknowledging we were even there is unacceptable. We ended up at the west Chester location where even though there was a wait and they were understaffed, we were acknowledged several times.

Typical IHOP. Lots of customers in the morning. I had the strawberry crepes today. My companion had the omelette. Decent food and good service. Other times had the sparkling fruit drinks which are excellent. Lots to choose from.

What is it about I Hop? USED to be a fan:(This is the second Ihop I am reviewing and my experiences at both were not good. The waitress seemed moody; we waiting way too long for our food and when it arrived, it was not hot.
I think my experiences with IHop have come to an end:(

Server was fine, kitchen was extremely slow. Mgr. apologized and took the bill along with others seated at the time, which was nice but doesn’t get IHOP a repeat customer.

Affordable, fast, good quality meals and great service.
Our server was Patty, and she was fantastic, attentive and friendly. I ordered the Breakfast Sampler, my wife ordered pancakes and my daughter ordered the funny face pancake. All arrived hot, and were tasty. Even though we went on a Sunday morning, we did not feel rushed, and it was a relaxed and comfortable visit.

You have been warned! This place is a disaster! Unless you just have to eat empty carbs and want to be diabetic, you would be doing yourself a favor to go home and have a tuna sandwich. Or go the Kroger and buy some whipped cream and shove it down your throat! Wake up! You are what you eat! Just look at all the disgusting slobs that eat here. Take some pride in yourself and stay away!

I don’t have a lot of options for breakfast around my house. It’s basically Ihop or Frisches. I love them both. And, sometimes I just want some delicious biscuits and gravy and that’s when I go to Ihop. They tend to get pretty busy at times, so that’s the only downfall I can see. You’ve been there. you know.

We went in on a sunday afternoon. Got seated and watched everyone around us get served and noone ever came back to our table. So we left and went elsewhere.

For brunch at a good price can’t go wrong with Ihop. We went after church on a Sunday so it was a bit busy. We had about a five minute wait before we got seated. The server was very nice and got every thing right for us. The food was fresh and very good. The place was clean and had a nice bathroom because that can be very important.

Food was terrible and not right as usual. Seriously, how do you screw up a blt? Ihop does it by not toasting the bread and not putting mayonnaise on it. Waitress was rude and dumb which is par for the course. My revenge is I had a coupon for a free meal and the waitress gets no tip, mwuuuuuhahahahahaha
