Curry Leaves

Like the majority of other Unilocalers, I think this is a wonderful addition the the Milford culinary scene. I love the naan bread and mulligatawny soup. The décor is inviting, and this is a great option for dining in or take out. Also, they have tons of vegetarian options. I like a little spice so it is nice that you can adjust the heat level on many of their dishes. Finally, the service is quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place soon if you haven’t.

In a word underwhelming. My wife got the lunch buffet and was unimpressed. I had lamb samosa and while the pastry was great in found the filling bland and dry. I followed up with Rogan Josh which was pretty good; lamb was cooked well and sauce flavorful. We did have to ask twice to get the beverages we ordered. Ambiance was non existant; any attempt at it was nullified by the stark fluorescent lights over the bar and buffet area. Service was acceptable. All in all it wasn’t a bad experience but it wasn’t good enough for me to want to go back, paticulaly since there are better options a few miles down the Post Road in Orange

Stopped in for a quick bite and try the buffet. The goat curry was fabulous with plenty of meat. Chicken tandoori was nice and moist –a surprise for a buffet especially near the end of closing. Definitely impressed & will return. Staff was friendly & efficient.

Looking for good Indian food? This is the place to be! The butter chicken is out of this world and today we even received rice pudding on the house! Great place to go!

Excellent. I’ve been looking for a place near me that has tasty Indian food. This is the place — awesome buffet price as well 9.95 with plenty of options and fresh food brought out immediately when a tray has run out.

Very good Indian food has landed in Milford. This place is solid, with some great authentic dishes. The space is unexceptional, but clean and comfortable. While it’s not THE best Indian in the area, it’s certainly one of the better options. The only disappointment was the lunch buffet, which because of low turnover isn’t super fresh towards the end of lunch hour, and the selection is so-​so. Going early would be advisable.
Very friendly service to boot, and they deliver.

I MAY have ordered for a third time in three weeks from Curry Leaves.
12 hour days have my kitchen prowess to be desired and their delivery is so quick that I cannot resist. Ordered tandoori chicken (just as delicious this time around) and the Mutter paneer (cheese and peas in a curry sauce) and plain paratha.
Delivery was within twenty minutes with yet another friendly delivery man.
The Tandoori chicken is a standout and just as good as last time.
I asked for it extra spicy this time (he asked me what I liked out of 5 and I said 4 spicy level). It made my nose run and my tongue tingle and that’s how I like it.
The paratha was flaky, although I prefer the paneer naan.
He threw in a rice pudding for me, but it had a bit too much cardamon and the rice had an odd texture (although I totally appreciate the freebie).
Only thing? They messed up on my Mutter paneer… there was no paneer in HERE! It was just mushrooms and peas… It was delicious none the less, but I was looking forward to the cheese.
Total was 29 and change and I ate it for 5 days.
You must try this place.

Stopped here while my son was doing a birthday party at the bowling alley down the street the staff is super nice very friendly very welcoming buffets on Sunday is great. Wonderful selection of dishes taste great right amount of spice we will definitely return another occasion

OK as I promised I would return in the evening, we did that on New Years Eve. Our party of six are well versed in Indian food, so I thought I put this place to their test — It passed and it passed well. All of my party and myself ordered a selection of dishes, meats and vegetables, sides etc. all were very good. Very fresh, tasty and spicy to the right strength. (If you normally like a softer or milder heat, then I recommend go low on the scale, they seem to amp it up a bit)
So I added the fifth star, guys you got it right. Please maintain this standard, don’t drop over time and I will be a regular here for years to come.
Staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. A real find in Milford where mediocre is all too prevalent in my book.

My husband and I have been here 3 times and are always very pleased. The aromas as you enter are divine. The food is DELICIOUS and reasonably priced and we always have leftovers to take home. Also the staff is very courteous and accommodating.
The first 2 times I had the vegetable kebobs but this last time I had the fish curry and that was wonderful.
We are nervous because it has never been crowded when we’ve been there, and we want Curry Leaves to stay in business. It’s easy to get to and there’s plenty of parking. We like it better than any other Indian restaurant in the Orange/​Milford/​New Haven area. PLEASE give it a try!

This is a really solid Indian restaurant in the state. For quantity, I like the buffet (go early) priced at $ 9.95 for lunch (and like that the selections vary betweens days — or at least between the two times I’ve been) but if its really quality you are going for — I’d highly suggest getting an entrée which is definitely better than the buffet. Everything I’ve had from here is good or better. The tandoori chicken is excellent. The chicken tikka masala can vary between very tender and not which is the only food ding I can give out of what I’ve tried. The other dishes (which I don’t know the names of off hand) have been excellent. The only thing I wish was that they had non-​buffet lunch specials or a lunch menu for take-​out.
Very friendly and professional and generally very good food. Can’t ask for much more especially in this area.

This place is top shelf. I highly recommend. The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Delicious food and excellent service! Will definitely be back again soon! Curry chicken and aloo paratha were our favorites. Medium was the perfect amount of spicy for the curry

I’ve had a very hard time finding good Indian food any where in the US. This has to be the best I have had here. I travel extensively so that’s saying a lot!
The chicken Tikka Masala was excellent although the chicken chunks were a little dry but the mild sauce was creamy and very tasty. The garlic naan was also very tasty as was the papadam. The lamb curry was VERY flavorful and at medium heat was just right. I had the food delivered to a local hotel and it arrived hot and fresh and on time.

First time getting Indian take out as I had dined in many other places.. The man who answered was very nice and took my order promptly.
We ordered Chicken tiki masala, Butter chicken. And paneer with spinach and cheese. We also ordered garlic nan and plain nan. The food was great. Fresh and full of flavor. The Nan was good but I felt it was a small piece for the order$ 3.95 you may want to order a double order.
Will return maybe next time dine in

Wow. All I can say is amazing. Picked up some chicken tikka masala tonight… First time at this particular Indian restaurant. I have never tasted a better chicken tikka. As a plus, I work right around the corner, so will definitely be back soon! From the few minutes I was there, I can also tell that they have a nice waitstaff.

This place is amazing, a friend recommended we try this restaurant, We had the paneer masala, and Boti kabob, Nan, and an appetizer, everything was excellent,
We will be back, we have been looking for a good Indian place and have found it.
Everyone is friendly and has a warm atmosphere inside, looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent food! Excellent and attentive service! This restaurant is fairly new and it was highly recommended to us. We were very pleased with the experience overall. The staff was knowledgeable and always close by. We took our 18 month old daughter, who does very well in restaurants, and they were considerate to our requests and welcoming of our little one! We had a delicious lamb dish, as well as the dum aloo potato dish which is never had before but will certainly be ordering again. The owner was gracious and friendly and we are looking forward to dining there again soon.
Considering the high quality of the food, we would have liked to have seen them busier. I wonder if it’s because they’re in the shopping plaza located in the spot right next to the large supermarket. It could be easy to overlook it, but you will be very glad you didn’t pass this one up!
