Review: Breakfast — Eat In at the Counter I have been to Little Lasse’s on 2 different occasions and I am pleased to say this will be my near breakfast spot. The atmosphere and décor is similar to what you would expect to find in VT. Old photographs line the walls, newspaper available for reading and a cash only register. The food: All I can say is amazing breakfast. From egg sandwiches to pancake to the scrambles. Everything is made fresh and is delicious. I’m very fond of the egg scramble with tomato, bacon, cheese and chives. I’m not a big egg fan but this could convert me. The service: The girls that work the counter are friendly and are very attentive.

For what it is, excellent spot. Don’t come here expecting polished floors and matching décor. Come here for a solid, old school, breakfast and you’ll leave satisfied.

Classic homey diner. Came in here first thing on a cold morning and left warm from the food, coffee, and crowd. Nothing fancy, but done right.

Where’s the love people?! This is a throw back to be sure but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good for what it is: old school hearty breakfast. And the choices? Whoa! Its practically endless. Eggs any style, or omelets w a variety of fillings like ham, bacon, sausage, onion, tomato, peppers, chives,& cheeses. Bagels, fresh Portuguese rolls, multigrain toast, croissants, muffins. Service is farely friendly & our order came out in a reasonable amount of time. Coffee was super HOT and fresh & endless which is always a good thing. I noticed too that they serve Irish Barry’s tea which is so cool. Egg & cheese nicely melted & hot on my toasted Portuguese roll, home-fries &3 eggs perfectly over easy w toast, bacon, ham & home-fries. Really good! The highlight for me were the home-fries. It’s obvious that the grill is seasoned which produced well seasoned crunchy home-fries. I like mine w char & crunch. NOT deep fried or shredded. The bits of onion and herbs were well balanced to the thickly sliced potato ratio. Portions are a bit small but we were full in spite of it anyway. True, the interior could use some work but like I said, its like the old school greasy spoons that served solid bone sticking breakfasts to get you through the day. . A cute posh little interior would both ruin the vibe & cause lines of hipsters on weekend mornings & then we wouldn’t be able to get in. So, saddle up to the bar, grab the paper or bring a book & enjoy the sun streaming in through the tall windows, sip your coffee and let’s just keep it the way it is, wink, wink.

Ok I have been in lassies 3times since moving to milford. Take out. Is not good. Home fries are always burnt, takes forever even when you call ahead and never puts butter in when you order pancakes Not a bad place overall very quaint and friendly just needs more attention to detail.

Some other place claims to have best pancakes in the state. let me tell you they have nothing on this place. Best blueberry pancakes in my life… It’s a greasy spoon place, that can get very busy, in a not so hot part of town. But make no mistake it’s worth the trip.

My food was ok, my girlfriend’s omelette was completely overcooked, the sausage in it was completely burnt. It was inedible. Coffee was not refilled because the little girls working in there decided to eat and basically ignore us. People came in right after we got our food, were allowed to order and then informed that they couldn’t eat there because they were closing. They had no posted hours anyways. The man cooking waited on those people because the girls were busy eating and playing with their phones. Needless to say I won’t be back

Place was ok. Not what i was ecpecting and the girl definitely didnt bother to help me. Took my order and brought me and my friends our breakfasts. Didnt check up on me to see if i need ketchup for my eggs Gave my friend the wrong toasts and when she said said something she reached into her plate barehanded and took the toasts away and never came back with new toasts. Food was not good and expensive. Will not go back.

The food is solid, the prices are awesome. $.99 breakfast sandwich? Yes please. Not worth driving from far, but if you’re in town, definitely stop in for a low key breakfast.

Love this place… Used to go almost every morning before work. Phil is great at cooking and running the place. Best bacon egg and cheese I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere…

Little Lasse’s is THE place for a breakfast sandwich. They do excellent omelets and pancakes and the coffee is second to none. The menu is posted on a chalk board behind the counter, nothing fancy, just delicious. They offer eat in(sit where you want) or take-out. Service with a smile is the rule here! The owner, Phil, is gracious and genuinely cares about his customers, and it shows. You won’t find a better breakfast in Milford!
