I would give this gym 0 stars if I could. The staff is only friendly on the day you sign up. After that, you are lucky if you get a «hello» when you walk in or if they even glance up when you walk in the door. Much of the equipment is broken — I got on 4 treadmills before finding one that worked one day. The equipment, floors, mats, etc. are VERY dirty — my hands are visibly dirty when I am finished exercising and I pass on using their mats and just stretch on the floor because I’d rather not sit on a brown mat that was purple at one point. They have one foam roller, which is completely worn out. I asked if they had resistance bands one day and the only response I received was, «no, I don’t think so.» The classes that I tried were pretty bad — you just don’t get the sense that you are being led by a professional(I speak as a Certified Personal Trainer). I stopped going for 3 months in the summer months because it was unbearably hot(they do not turn on the air). I just paid double gym memberships for those months — it was worth the extra money to not sweat before you even start to exercise. They had a promotion to receive $ 20 if you«referred a friend». My brother gave my name as a referral and when I asked about the $ 20, I was told«oh, we aren’t doing that anymore» when, in fact, the sign was still hanging up. I signed up for one-year membership and received a call that my membership had expired after 11 months. I wanted to like this gym and believe that they would, in fact, go through with these renovations they spoke about, but in the«11 months» I was there, not much changed. You definitely get what you pay for. I will HAPPILY go back to paying $ 40/month to work out in a clean facility that cares about its members.
