update Long over do. Was contacted by a gentlemen who was assigned to my complaint. His professionalism was very impressive and accommodated all my requests and more. had way more clout than any standard sales rep. Truly turned the situation around. Sleepy’s has people and protocols in place when the floor sales force blow it.

TRULYAWFULCUSTOMERSERVICE. Found a mattress I liked, and put a deposit down to hold it until I was ready for delivery(I had a new bed frame being delivered from another store). When I found out when the bed frame was coming, I called to schedule delivery of the mattress, and was given a 4 hour delivery window(11 – 3). Around 2, someone came to deliver the MATTRESSCOVERONLY. Why on earth would I stay home for 4 hours and pay them to deliver something that fits inside of a grocery bag and I could pick up and be home in less than an hour? I was told the mattress was coming in another truck, and that is the way it usually works. When I called the store, I was told that my mattress had been delivered. I explained that, in fact, it was not delivered. The woman at the other end blamed the mistake on a new employee. After quite a bit of back and forth, I was told that it would be delivered by 5PM at the latest. At 5:30 they still hadn’t shown up. I was also told that, of course they would refund the delivery fee, since it had been their mistake. After almost a week, i got a refund for about 1⁄3 of the delivery fee, and have been calling every few days for the past two weeks to get the rest. I was told on multiple times that someone(including the manager) would call me the next day after they had things sorted out. They never call back. One person told me to call 1800SLEEPYS to get the refund. They told me that only the local store could authorize it. I’m told that it went through today, but so far, I’m still waiting.
