I was in there for approx. 4 minutes and was completely stalked by a salesperson. I can’t stand pushy salespeople, esp in furniture stores and this was by far the worst experience. I went in on a Sunday morning and had the unfortunate experience of being the only person in the store, so I was immediately pounced on by a saleswoman, and I quickly told her I would just be looking and would let her know if I had any questions. I was looking at a couch and felt her eyes on me and when I looked up, sure enough she had been following me and started babbling on about some sale, to which I(again) had to tell her that I was just looking. Walked about 20 feet away and I realized she was following me still. I just left. Unfortunately I had a whole house to furnish, but fortunately I went to Bob’s where I was treated like a human being and not a commission opportunity. Stalking customers like that is just as rude as ignoring them. I won’t bother with this place again.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture company. Raymour & Flanigan does not care about customer service. Every time I have spoken with the manager, James, he has been extremely unapologetic and uninterested in anything I have to say. I purchased a high top chairs and table set from them about three months ago. Lisa, the saleswoman who assisted me, was extremely helpful. I never felt pressured to buy anything, and she didn’t try and convince me to buy anything I didn’t fall in love with. Because it was a custom piece, they said it would take about 6 – 8 weeks for processing and delivery. No problem there. About four weeks in, they called and said the order was ready for delivery. I was ecstatic. A day later, James calls and says the table and chairs came in, but the table is not a high top. He said he would rush the delivery so it would be here in two weeks, plus he promised a gift card. Ok, fine. However, I hadn’t heard anything for three weeks, so I call to check on the status of the delivery. They said they’re still waiting on the piece, and they’ll call back with an update on the exact delivery date. Three days later, nothing. A week later I get a call that they are in and are scheduled for delivery. An hour later, I get a call saying the table was damaged and it would be ANOTHER6 – 8 weeks for the table. I called and said I wanted my money back. James just said«okay». I went in to get my money back and told him how unsatisfied I was. He was unresponsive and just processed the refund. I might as well have talked to a wall. I am extremely disappointed as I really wanted this piece, but I’m glad I can go elsewhere and hopefully find the service every customer deserves.
