This review is based on their take out because I’ve never patronized the restaurant itself. But their SPICYCHICKENWINGS are awesome. Big pieces, juicy with a flavorful crispy skin. All for 20 dollars. The best pick-up when going over your friends for football… Best bang for the buck.

Decided to try out this ramen place, it’s located right across the street from where I live and has been here for awhile. It’s located in the Mililani Shopping Center next to Maile Chinese Restaurant. For it being a Friday night at around dinner peak time the restaurant was very empty, only one other table occupied. We were seated right away and the woman was very nice and friendly. We browsed the menu and it seemed pretty similar to the Genki Ramen place that we normally eat at located in the Mililani Town Center. The prices were reasonably listed. By the time we placed our order the crowds started to come in about 4 or 5 more tables so maybe just good timing for us. We ordered a regular size Char Siu ramen, a Chicken Katsu Curry combo, and a side order of gyoza. The combo came with a regular portion of Katsu curry, a small ramen and 4 piece gyoza. The side order gyoza had 6 pieces. My husband ordered a coke @ $ 1.25 which keep in mind they only have can sodas so no refills. My husband normally will have at least 2 refills while dining so that was a no go for us. The food came out pretty quickly except for the gyoza’s. We started eating and husband was almost done with his ramen by the time it did come out. The broth was more creamy looking then what I’m used to, not sure what kind of broth they use. I would have to say that we may give them another try but we frequent Genki Ramen that it’s hard not to compare. I would say Genki’s food is better. I noticed they have pastry shelves in front of store where they display different selections that we may have to try, by the time we went for dinner the display had very little maybe 1 or 2 left, maybe sold through out day which is a good sign if nothing left. Tab totaled about $ 26.00 which is pretty reasonable.

Great ramen shop! Ramen here is excellent, the design is beautiful, and service is nice and quick. I would recommend the fried oysters, spicy seafood ramen, and mochiko chicken. Their bakery, too is excellent and delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

I love this restaurant very much. It’s one of my favorites. I didn’t expect much when I first went because it seemed like every other Japanese restaurant but the food is EXCELLENT. The design is also very beautiful, and the service is quick and friendly. There’s also a delicious bakery that I love. Overall, fantastic restaurant. Would absolutely recommend.

Favorite place to eat. I always get the chicken katsu curry. I eat here almost every week when I’m home. I go during happy hour to get that free gyoza!

The ramen was just okay. Broth was pretty good although strange to me since I’ve never seen white ramen broth before. The mochiko chicken was delicious. Even my 5 year old liked it. She is very picky.

Mililani has very limited options when it comes to ramen. I can only think of three major ramen establishments(two of which are owned by the same owner). Out of the three, Nagoya Ramen is my favorite. Compared to the other two establishments, their broth has a lot more flavor and the gyoza is plump deliciousness. My favorite, go-to item to order here is their spicy beef ramen. It comes with a shoyu-base broth, chili oil for the spice, and lots of beef. I love the fresh, crunchy beansprouts along with the chewy noodles. I typically get it in the combo set because the mini ramen portion is very filling and I have enough leftovers to take home the mini pork-fried rice and a few pieces of their gyoza. I can make two meals out of a set that only costs me $ 9.95! I’ve also tried a few of their pastries in their display. My favorite is their ensamada because it is fluffy and has the perfect balance of butter and sugar topping. If you come in the evening, you can get their pastries on special for Buy 2, Get 1 Free. Overall, this is my favorite ramen establishment in Mililani. It’s not as good as others in town but it’s worth a quick drive down the road when I want my ramen fix. Keep it up Nagoya!

Tried their mochiko chicken and tastes good but entrée is oily and ramen soup is also oily. Ordered miso soup and its a salty and also spicy(too spicy for my little boy. Table configuration not conducive to more than party of 6. Parking is OK since its in a general plaza. Staff is friendly. Music is decent. Entrée sizes are more than what I expected for the price they charged.

I came back because I just wanted a quick bite of gyoza before grocery shopping. I was very hesitant to walk through the door, but I thought I’d give it another try. I just finished eating my side order of gyoza after soaking each one in gyoza sauce and vinegar until it was sopping. Looked over to put the vinegar bottle back, and there’s a dead f-ing fly sunken at the bottom. Never again. I’m sorry. 2⁄2 bad experiences. :(

This super casual place doesn’t seem like much just by glancing at it in the strip mall, but it had phenomenal prices and amazing food. You’ll only spend about 7 – 9 dollars per meal, and add one like croquettes or tofu are reasonable(3 – 4 dollars). Super bonus perk? Free tray of gyoza with any meal purchase between 1pm-5pm. And this gyoza has to be the most lean and tasty kind I’ve had outside of Japantown SF. The curry was on the sweet side, a different take on the usual salty and spicy sauce but nonetheless, that sweetness worked well. The Mochiko chicken is by far the most impressive. Amazing flavor – must marinate overnight – and battered just right without being gummy or too thick, and quite lean for dark meat pieces. Cooked perfectly as well. Hungry for dessert? They have pastry trays from which you can select an array of delicious buns, cakes, and other delectable sweets. Six stars if Unilocal had that feature – great service, fast out-of-kitchen time, and food that makes me want to return tomorrow. Small venue so can get crowded, but that is all the reason to go during non-peak hours for that free gyoza.

Pastries AND ramen? Oooh, had to check out! Pros: –Generous portions! Got the ramen, katsu curry, gyoza combo — it was a LOT! –Value! All that was $ 9.95 or something. That’s cheap compared to others places. –Found a good parking space, but it gets kinda crowded sometimes. –The egg tart!!! Took it home and wished I had bought more! –Friendly employees; maybe they were the owners. Very nice people. –The fish tank — my girls enjoyed watching the fish. Thank goodness it doesn’t look like that scary monster at House of Dragon in Pearl City. –Cute chopstick holder that looks like a log. –My girls liked that lychee Calpico drinks were available. Cons: –Floor was a little sticky. –My husband thought the the curry was a little on the sweet side. Overall, a great meal. I’ve been to many ramen places and I like this one because of their friendliness, good prices, generous portions, and tons of choices for dessert! Note: If you need some entertainment after dinner, try walking into Foodland next door. You’ll find an interesting mix of shoppers… scary Mililanians in boros talking to themselves as well as rich Mililanians wearing workout clothes carrying their Louis Vuitton bags!

Tried this cute restaurant for dinner with the hubby and the babes, it was ok. I can compare it to Ramen-Ya. We had the ramen combo which was just, ok. The ramen needed more salty, the gyoza was actually very good, and the fried rice my daughter devoured! The service was good and the egg custard we tried was pretty tasty. I

This place is not a fancy five star restaurant. But, the fact that they have fast, friendly, attentive service and really awesome food(we had: ramen, katsu curry, fried rice, gyoza, cold udon combo, & tako balls) gives this place a five on my list! They also have a few cases in the front that hold a selection of bread, pastries and deserts. We had a sausage and cheese roll. It was sooo yummy! The bread was soft and had just the right amount of sweetness(I cant explain it. You just have to try it yourself!) One of the workers there gave us an egg tart. It was great too! The crust was very light and flaky, kinda like a napple. The egg custard reminded me of a custard pie. Overall great experience. We’ll be back!

We, the residents of Mililani, are somewhat deprived when it comes to ramen spots here. In fact, Unilocal only lists 3 of them that are located in Mililani, compared to over 100 that’s located in Honolulu. So when it comes to ramen, I usually make the long trip to town, despite the distance and all the traffic. The only ramen place I have eaten in Mililani so far is New Genki Ramen I in Mililani Mauka, which I can’t imagine Genki Ramen II in the Mililani Town Center being that much more different. It was an okay experience, nothing really to write home about. After a 3-hour long workout at 24 Hour Fitness Mililani, I was really craving ramen, but didn’t feel like going very far. So I searched Unilocal, and saw that Mililani Shopping Center had a ramen restaurant. So I put my gym bag in my car, and walked over to Nagoya Ramen. To be honest with you, I never really noticed the place before. As I first walked in, there are a couple of display cases filled with baked desserts. Upon closer look, they’re all Chinese baked desserts. Hmmm… How unusual??? Chinese baked desserts in a Japanese ramen restaurant! This peaked my curiosity even more! So, I ordered one of their ramen combos: a mini-bowl of Won Ton Ramen, Shrimp Fried Rice, and 4 pieces of Gyoza… A real good deal for less than $ 10. I also wanted to try their Tako Yaki Balls, based on another Unilocalers high praise of them. All the food came out fairly quickly… Ramen was filling, fried rice & Gyoza were good, and the Tako Yaki Balls lived up to it’s Unilocal hype. LOL Overall, a good meal for a great price. In the middle of my meal, one of the waitresses asked me if I wanted to try one of their Egg Tarts. She explained that they’re new on the menu, they just came out of the oven, and I wouldn’t be disappointed. For an extra $ 1.25, I said why not. Now, I wasn’t expecting much… It’s a Chinese dessert in a Japanese ramen restaurant for goodness sake! Man, was I completely wrong… It ranks up there with some of the best Egg Tarts I’ve tried at Chinatown in San Francisco! It goes to show, never judge a book by it’s cover! I now have a go-to place in Mililani for good ramen and amazing Egg Tarts. I definitely need to try their other Chinese baked desserts! Did I mention it’s a Japanese ramen restaurant??? LOL

The one thing that I like about this place is their mini plates. Their mini mochiko chicken curry and rice is just the right amount of food for lunch at the right price. I’ve noticed that their«competitor» ramen shops(I’m talking about these inexpensive chain type ones) don’t offer these minis. I believe these run about $ 6. They also do mini fried rice. I’ve also ordered takeout catering trays. I think they are about $ 21 per tray for a small tray. I ordered gyoza and mochiko chicken and I thought it was a pretty generous amount of food for the price. I called it in and it was ready at the time I asked for it. Service is always prompt and polite. This is 4-stars based on this tpe of ramen shop — not saying the food is 4-star quality in the overall food world… but overall experience/food for a fast stop type ramen shop.

A nice little restaurant with really decent prices and good food. I usually get the mochiko chicken combo. Comes with mochiko chicken ramen, gyoza and fried rice. Its actually too much food for me, always end up bringing the rice home. Its a clean, no frills sort of place with fast and friendly service. Not amazing but a solid place to go to get a decent meal for your money. My kiddos usually get the chicken katzu and share one plate, its more than enough! Price for a hungry family of four is usually under $ 35.00.

Walk in here and seat yourself. They’ll come and give you the menu. Ordered the spicy chicken curry combo(it’s not pictured on the menu). The kids enjoyed the gypsy and ramen, mind you they are picky kids. People working here are nice and polite so that’s a plus! Food is good here and decent portions!
