I miss Waldo’s Pizza so much. They had the best pizza of all time. Wish they would reopen somewhere with better management they could be a winner pizza restaurant.

I remember when this place was in Aikahi shopping center. Thats when I would always go there. They had really good Lasagna. I also remember really liking their buffalo wings. Too bad this place closed down.

Okay here goes. As i write this post Waldo’s is closed already so I’m not sure if it matters. All of the reviews are accurate. Service sucks! I mean it’s really bad. I’ve lived in Mililani all my life and always wanted this place to survive. It’s just bad management. This pizza is the only thing going for it. I hope that it re-opens with better training.

I’m not sure why I end up at this place. The service sucks and the food takes forever. Drunks from the bar seem to stumble into the restaurant and seem confused a little bit because the bathrooms are located around a booth. My last visit, the mens bathroom was out of order, the heineken keg went out, and they ran out of bud light on a friday nite at 9pm. Whats up with that?

Great food at a good price! We had the combo pizza, stuffed mushrooms, and cheesy garlic bread. It was great! Our waiter was really nice and quick service.

The pizza is good for take out but they don’t really have that much seating. I love the stuffed mushrooms!

Ok so my birthday party was held here and I got to say I like the atmosphere, feels like we are outside. That is why I decided to make my party here. We had over 30+ people but that wasn’t the problems. The problems were the boys bathroom were closed due to renovations. You know what that means? Men and Women had to share one bathroom. Then there tap beer dispenser was broken. Then they ran out of beer and the waitress and waiters were asking everyone to pay by credit card because they ran out of money. Wow really! First of all I gave them well enough notice when the party would be so for them not to fix the beer dispenser is bad, not to have enough beer in stock and not to have change on hand that is just wrong. To top it off the Karaōke lady told me «Why didn’t I tell them I was coming with _____‚(going to leave the name blank) so we would know to stock up the beer». Really, do you have to blame me for you not thinking ahead. I was drunk so I just walked away. But I just think a little planning would have been great. But I love the atmosphere so I would go again. Thanks

I have always passed by it and finally decided to dine in. You look at it and don’t realize they have a bigger resturant inside. If your looking for a place that doesn’t have a lot of people going wild this is the place to go. They had a few people singing karaōke and enjoying a beer. We unfortunately did not get the pizza but we got the pasta and a sandwich. The pasta seriously tasted like they opened a can of alredo sauce and poured it over. I know they only had one server so getting your food and waiting for refills on your drink had taken a long time. If your looking for cheap pitcher. this is the place to go.

I remember coming here as a kid. I always remember the pizza being absolutely delicious. Its been a while since the last time I came. However, I do not remember Waldo’s being this run down… My fiancé and I came in on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty much deserted. Only one other couple whom I overheard was given the wrong order… the waiter simply said. «Um.okay?» Didn’t even apologize for the wrong order. Not a very good impression. We wanted to order the Caesar salad but… apparently they ran out of dressing… wtf? How can put that on your menu and only let the customer know right when they’re ready to order… that waiter definitely not the brightest crayon in the crayon box if you catch my drift. Wanna order fruit punch? yeah, they were out of that too… Rrrr. the seat cushions are all broken and torn. the place is in dire need to renovations. The pizza is really good through. still as good as i remember. but not very reasonal for the price… I think I might as well go to Costco or pizza hut where the pizza is at a great price and still tastes good. lol. Waldo’s needs from serious work.

Please, please clean this place and call an exterminator. It’s hard to enjoy food whilst batting away bugs and trying to ignore the offensive odor wafting out from the bathrooms. I would definitely eat there again, and on a regular basis, if they cleaned the place up. The pizza is actually pretty good.

I had been wanting to try this place since there aren’t many food options in Mililani to begin with. I really wanted to like this place since it seemed like a lot of fun with the Karaōke Crowd belting out the tunes… The pizza we ordered was sad looking. Margherita Pizza with barely any tomatoes and no visible basil? What kinda stuff was that? We had a white pizza with artichoke hearts and spinach… it was decent. I don’t think I added a new option my Mililani dining list.

I’ve gone past this restaurant many times before, never venturing in. It’s always dark inside and people are always drinking. But my boyfriend goes there religiously every payday to get his karaōke on… so what better place to celebrate his 30th at. Waldo’s was more then accommodating when we need a big place for all his friends to hang. I was very surprised at how accommodating it was, ever other place we tried to go to kept telling us our group was too large(about 30+ people). Waldos had no trouble providing more chairs and tables when people kept coming. The couple who holds the karaōke helped put everything together and all we had to do was sit back and relax. This was also the first time that I tried the pizza there. When we ordered pan crust I was expecting an oily mess, but got nothing like that. The pizza was very much the opposite of greasy and instead was fresh and totally delicious! I recommend the super combo… full of toppings and yummy-ness! A little warning though, if you go there, watch out for the bathroom. The ladies room is rather small and a tight squeeze. The bathroom door does not lock and the toilet barely flushes.

Don’t take your kids there if they are old enough to read. The F-word is featured prominently on a sign in the outdoor seating area. The food is okay. Nothing to make you crave going back again, but edible. I’m guessing the appeal is more for the beer than for anything else.

My husband and I decided to give Waldo’s a try, for we wanted pizza, were near Mililani, and had our Entertainment Book, which featured a coupon. We got to the restaurant, and Happy Hour was underway. Several people were seated outside eating pupus and drinking draft beer. Since mosquitoes love me, we decided to sit inside. We entered the restaurant, and a waitress immediately came to counter and told us to sit anywhere we liked. We chose a booth and quickly decided on what we wanted to order, but the waitress had disappeared. The restaurant interior was very dim, and our table had a large crack in the resin that protected the wood table surface. We sat for a while, looking at the vintage aviation photos on the walls, but the waitress still didn’t return to take our order. Finally, my husband went back to the counter, and he found a different waitress there who was chowing down on some food. She was shocked to see him. As she explained, her coworker had clocked off shift and not told her she had customers waiting to order. After grabbing her order pad, the new waitress came to our table. My husband and I each ordered a pint of draft beer(only $ 2.50 a pint during Happy Hour), as well as two calzones. Our drinks came promptly, and the wait for the pizza was reasonable. When the waitress brought our calzones, she specifically asked if I had the one with artichoke hearts(I did). Somehow, unfortunately, I wound up with my husband’s calzone, anyway, but we switched plates after we’d had a few bites and discovered the error. Our calzones were decent. We especially liked the crust consistency. Both of us prefer ricotta cheese, in addition to mozzarella, but it’s very rare to find a pizza place that serves calzones that way. Serpico’s on Maui is the only place we’ve found in Hawaii, thus far, to do so. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be back to Waldo’s again. The restrooms were the nail in the coffin, so to speak. I went in to the ladies room to wash my hands, and I discovered the light was burned out. From the little light in the restroom hallway, I could see that there weren’t any paper towels in the ladies room, anyway. I groped around the walls by the door attempting to locate a light switch, with no success, so I went to the men’s room to wash my hands. The vile stench from the urinal was so bad, I almost vomited. Blech. The sign outside said, «Under New Management.» I would recommend replacing burned out light bulbs, repairing the table surfaces, and putting some deodorizer in the men’s room urinal. The food was OK and the prices decent, but the so-so service and dingy atmosphere were off-putting.

After hanging out with some friends in Mililani, we decided to go grab a pizza at Waldo’s. I’ve been there before and thought eh. it was ok, why not? It truly was a disappointment and warranting one of my few 2 star reviews. The food was mediocre at best, the service lacking, and the ambiance almost unbearable. Our group decided to start with the Bacon/Cheddar Potatoes and the garlic breadsticks. After being informed the potatoes would take awhile, we were ok… it came after the pizza and was more bacon and cheddar potato fries like Jack in the Box… The breadsticks were ok, and a very large portion. The downside was the over oregano’d marinara dipping sauce that it came with, ask for some ranch dressing and it was much better. We continued with a pepperoni pizza and a waldo combo pizza. The pizzas were well proportioned, but the pepperoni pizza barely had any pepperoni on it and the waldo combo was a decent combination of flavor. The big downside was the crust which was almost like a giant dry cracker, get the thin crust and you might get a better outcome. Again, ranch dressing came to the rescue and made the pizza palatable. Service was lacking and it almost seemed as if we were an inconvenience. They clearly didn’t know their menu or the proportions and I wouldn’t take what they say seriously if I ever go back. The ambiance wasn’t well maintained, nor cleaned recently. nuff said in my book. Waldos feels like an amateur attempt to run a restaurant with what seems like frozen foods, pre-made items, and amateur service. This establishment should get a visit from Gordon Ramsey and see if he can whip it up into shape.

I like that you can order a half-pitcher of the draft beer. The hot wings were pretty good. The XXX Nitro is very spicy! The garlic cheese bread is pretty tasty. We usually order the super combo pizza, thin crust. Decent pizza, not spectacular. We usually come for the hole in the wall vibe, jukebox and the cheap draft beer. The men’s room is pretty stinky, so avoid that if possible, or hold your breath if not.

A-OK. My bf and I were craving a good slice of pizza for lunch so we decided to give this place a try despite the lack of recent reviews. As soon as we walked in we noticed the empty warmer which housed the pizza-by-the-slices. So we waited a minute or so until a waitress appeared and asked her what our choices for pizza were. She quickly brought the menu and stated that any pizza would take approximately 10 – 15 mins. We ordered the small(8 slices) thin crust, half of which was spinach/garlic with white sauce and the other half the combo, consisting of pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, onions, and sausage with tomato sauce. The pizza arrived at our table promptly, we waited about 12 mins and hoped that it tasted as good as it looked. The crust was nice and crispy, cheese melted perfectly, and the ingredients tasted fairly fresh. I wished the pizza to have been hotter, it was lukewarm on the inside, maybe it was cooled down because of the plastic plate it was served on. Our bill with 2 sodas totaled $ 17. The setting is an old garage converted into a casual eatery; about 10 tables with chairs and a small bar with 4 – 5 seats. Both sides of the garage are open so it’s really breezy with debris flying everywhere; sorta like eating under a tent at the beach and having to watch out for stuff flying into your drink/food. We went during the lunch rush and saw only 5 others eating, so we’re convinced that this place counted on their happy hour specials to lure customers in. We saw a chalkboard listing beer specials and happy hour prices so maybe we’ll check in again during the evening. And I believe that they offer live sports on their small t.v.s. Overall maybe 3.5 stars based on the quick service and fresh tasting ingredients, however because of the lack of atmosphere I can’t give it a solid 4 stars.

I have been here twice, and was disappointed both times. I ordered a pizza«carry out», and an order of stuffed mushrooms(which was good). I waited out in the garage for my food to be done. I had a beer while waiting, and when I finally got my order I went home which was 2 minutes away. When I got home my pizza was COLD, cheese was barely melted, and the crust was DRY! I would recommend if you order anything TOGO/CARRYOUT look in the box before you leave.

Aloha Gang, I just tried Waldo’s last night for the very first time. I have to say that I enjoyed it, mostly. We had a pitcher of beer(very small selection of draft beers) and a medium pan pizza. The pizza was very tasty, not too much sauce and the crust was just right. I was impressed. The beer wasn’t very cold and it wouldn’t have been my choice but there wasn’t much to choose from. It appears they were short on staff and maybe that’s why when you walk in, there’s a big sign that stated… «HELPWANTED, ALLPOSITIONS» All in all… I will be back to try it again

The pizza is really good. they used to have this alfredo chicken with artichokes and tomatoes which is really good. The service is terrible. Don’t even think about trying to get it delivered. Even though we lived literally RIGHT across Kam, it took over an hour to get our food! We could have walked there in less than 15 minutes! Even when you go in, it takes forever. and it’s a little dirty. the thai wings are good, small, but flavorful
