This is a Walmart just like any other Walmart here on the island. Though it does get points for being the first one in the state. However the customer service pretty much stink! The woman who works in the jewelry section doesn’t even want to help me. I asked if she could help me set my watch that I wanted to buy and she told me just to read the instructions! And than when I wanted to buy the watch she didn’t even want to ring me up at her cash register! She told me to go to the set check out line! I also went to the DVD section and there was throw up on the ground! My dad actually slid on it! I had to go hunt down someone to clean it up! They really need to have employees around. Bother than that they have a lot of merchandise but I think I would rather go to target. At least there they will match online prices! I tried to match a DVD price from target with the ad and the casher fought me on it! I told her that I meet the requirements cause I brought the target ad with the price! So with everything that happened to me, I would just go to target! It’s a bit farther/out of the way, but it is worth it once you factor in the great service there.

I love this place and have been coming for many years. They have great customer service and great deals. I love shopping online w/them. Their deals are always better then competitors. One of the problems that I’ve been having though is when I find great clearance deals and go to check out, some or most of the items are higher than marked. It is very frustrating because if I didn’t take the time to look at every item it could’ve been missed. Learned real quick to pay more attention at checkout then to the price shown on the tag. I hate to be one of those who go home and figure out that I was charged extra. Check your receipts people!!!

0STARSEXPERIENCE, MORELIKE10BILLIONTHUMBSDOWNFORTHEDISRESPECTFROMWALMARTTOOURUSUSVETERANS, COMBATVETERANS, CAVILIANS. ANDSOLDIERS. Worst wxperience with the service reps EVER. I am a Disabled Combat Veteran and I had many items, I walk up stairs to my home. The woman in the garden checkout had said that the rules are that«only small items are allowed to go into these new big waster bags»(i hate whoever made this big deal about bags that is why I called them«waster bags» and everyone I know calls this island«what a waste island.») Ever since these new bags appeared in replacement of our traditional plastic bags with handles it feels like we have been boosted back to the 1950s. It is hard for disabled people to carry groceries, especially in handle-less paper bags up flights of stairs. The taking away of our plastic handle bags has created a disabled persons epidemic making it harder for people like me with military related service-connected disabilities, cancer patients, the elderly and pain-afflicted. This woman began to bag up my candies while leaving two 2-liter bottles of soda, a box of babydiapers and a box of baby wipes unbagged. As this occurred, I kindly asked her for bags because I have stairs to walk up to get to my home and I a m a disabled citizen, only to get a snappy response sort of to the effect of «that won’t fit in the bag and the rule is that only small items only are allowed in bags» as she had a big stack of plastic bags in her grocery packing wheel, to which I responded, «do I have to speak to a manager? Who made this rule? Is this protocol for new bags the rule made by the manager?» I ended up screaming at her to «give me my bags so I can carry this all up my stairs, what has this world come to? Do I have to fight for a plastic bags?» So I finally took matters into my own hands and snatched up 3 bags from her as she practically threw them at me and showed her how everything I had fitted into the available bags. I screamed at her«do i have to call in the manager? I said I will be calling the manager don’t you worry!» She said that this rule was not implemented by the manager. I highly recommend this bag-conservatism issues be addressed immediately. I would never expect to be treated this way after serving in a combat zone for the U.S. Army for the sake of Americas liberty, life, and safety only to get denied a shopping bag in piece of S@%$ stupid F#%$-Mart. I demand. Someone make this right as I will also be writing a similar letter to our senator regarding this situation that happened at Mililani Wal-Mart. I demand this employee be fired. She is usually at the register closest to the flower fridge from garden e trance to door! So here I am writing and i demand a $ 500 Walmart gift card or I will sue Walmart for having bag-conservative workers. I asked this unkind woman«what do you care? Do you pay for these bags?» SHETAKESTHEPROVIDINGOFBAGSTOOSERIOUSLYANDALSO A OTHERWOMANDIDNEARLYTHESAMEBEHAVIORON A FEWOTHEROCCASIONS.. BEWAREALLWHOPLANTOGOTOMILILANIWAL-MART! Well, One of the better walmarts. I guess what I mean is, there is ample parking, cleaner than most walmarts, and seems like a better stocked selection when comparing it to the town location. I didn’t like the changes they made when they started to add some«fresh» food items. I really don’t want to see a super Walmart here. But for the other things, like some supplies, it’s a great buy when it goes on sale.

It’s an automatic that when shopping at Walmart for food supply, they won’t have what you are looking for in stock. Prices are great, so this is usually the first place I will check for items in need. I love the items they sell for cake decorating, I can hang around this section most of my visit. I appreciate the low prices, and how tidy they try to keep the store despite the uncontrollable crowds. I have to add that the electronic/photo department is quite disappointing. I usually have to look around for a worker and by then, they don’t seem quite happy to had been interrupted. I love the prices, and will always be a Walmart return customer.

Wow, haven’t been here in ages & it’s sad that no one greets you like how they used to a long time ago. So I bought some sparking water & took it to the cashier. An elderly lady who was working the register never greeted me or even a «Hi or Hello». How rude! She never said a word in fact until she told me how much it was. Lastly, she slowly bagged my purchase as she seemed quite lazy looking & gave me my bag with no Thank You! What’s up with retail associates now a days? This would never happen at an ABC Store! Just saying! The one lonely star is for great prices & nice plastic bags they give you!

Imagine this, it’s the big 10 for your son, you stop at Wal-Mart on the way home from work for that special birthday gift. A 10 year old boy, an electric scooter that goes 10mph… perfect, right? Oh and don’t forget, it is a little pricey considering it’s coming from the«toy» section, $ 161.26 So you take the thing home and keep it hidden in your trunk for a little while so you can start that special birthday dinner. You send your son out to play so you can sneak the gift in the house, downstairs in the guest bedroom. The entire evening is going well, he had his favorite dinner, a fun cupcake in the face session and a delicious cake. So now time for the gifts. He opens a few cards and small gifts. We want and spend time talking at the dinner table, to make him think, «that was it.» So we sneak in the grand finale. He is sooooooooo excited! He grabs it and brings it on the living room ready to put it all together with Dad. He opens the first part of the box and it’s LOADED a with LIVE cockroaches!!! What a nightmare and HUGE disappointment for a boy on his birthday! Now, are you planning of paying the fees for the fumigation of our vehicle and home?! I am disgusted, and if the is from their toys, imagine their foods!!! We are a Target only family now. That was ridiculous. See photo I added too.

Obviously it was unfair to leave my one star review up for this store since it only referred to one problem which(upon writing a letter to corporate) was solved. I decided to give Mililani Walmart a fair shot at a new review and since I reside in Mililani and it’s OUR Walmart I was able to conduct different levels of tests on multiple trips. Firstly, before coming to this location and leaving things in your car keep in mind that even though Mililani Town Center has a Securitas team on site Mililani Walmart is NOT part of their patrols, this means security won’t help you in cases of vandalism or theft in Walmart’s parking lot, there are no patrols or security checks either, but this isn’t security’s fault, they simply have no jurisdiction in the Walmart area. Secondly, when buying clothes take a CLOSE look at the size on the TAG because these employees don’t seem to realize that when they hang up clothing they’re supposed to match the little size thingy on the hanger to the actual size of the garment! This is especially prevalent in the shorts and swim trunks area, the hangar might say 46 but the actual size is 32 or something. Never buy before you try! Other than that this is just a normal Walmart, the floors seem dirty but they polish them every night(trust me we’ve been there when they do it) Mililani just has red dirt that disagrees with white tile. Mililani Walmart get’s an average 3 star review for being a pretty average location.
