Jiffy Lube

I have been visiting this location for almost 5 years with both of our cars. I felt pretty good about taking my cars here because the guys were pretty friendly and things had been fine. That was until I had my oil topped-​off back in October 2015. I was a bit concerned when the young man had trouble figuring out how to keep the hood up, at that point I should have stopped him. However, I didn’t and after he added oil and closed my hood I went to Fred Meyer across the street to grab dinner. On my way home my car smelled awful, my engine light came on, and there was smoke coming from the hood. Once I got home I opened the hood to find that he forgot to put the oil cap back on and there was oil dripping from everywhere! My dad called Jiffy Lube and they said I wasn’t in the system and no one remembered me visiting that location in the last 20 minutes. That was until I said what the kid looked like and read off my invoices from my other oil changes. I couldn’t get my car in to be cleaned for 2 days and was out a car for the 3^rd day while it was being cleaned. Not only did it smell bad but it was embarrassing to drive around with smoke coming from the hood. I was told they would do whatever to make it right, however after purchasing a new cap and getting my engine cleaned they haven’t done anything to help me over the last 3 months. I have stopped by and talk to 3 different managers, Jared was the only one that seemed like he cared, and I think the old store manager got fired because someone new had taken over. None of the store managers offered a name or took down my information after my first visit which is bad customer service. I didn’t want to get these managers in trouble but I will be contacting corporate now with hopes that this issue can resolved.

This place was fantastic! I’ll admit that I often wonder about chain automotive places not knowing who’s going to be working on my car. My experience here was 100% professional, knowledgable, and efficient. I will now make this my ‘go to’ oil change location. I’m really grateful — I like finding service I can trust.

I felt disappointed by my most recent visit at this Jiffy Lube, my first at this particular location on 3212 Bothell Everett Highway. The price for an oil change is not of great value without a coupon and I did not receive a $ 5 AAA member discount after mentioning it to the Jiffy Lube service technician at various times throughout the visit and while also displaying my AAA card upon arriving at the entrance. The Jiffy Lube service technicians on staff on June 19^th were in need of improvement in providing customer service while a few service technicians made me feel unwelcome. I have no qualms about taking my vehicle to Grease Monkey, Pep Boys, Goodyear, or Oil Can Henry’s instead. They try to upsell on «extra» overpriced services and insisted on producing a coupon not found on the Internet. My car windows were washed adequately, however the interior was barely vacuumed. The wait was about 25 minutes. I presume that is to be expected since this particular garage is located on a busy intersection.
Overall experience, I felt stiffed by Jiff.

My husband and I had to have our oil changed and to do it the technicians need to cut off zip ties that are holding the undercarriage of the car together. We SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM they had to put the zip ties back on after the oil change, and they put ONE back. They took FIVE off, and replaced ONE.
So today as we were driving down the freeway, we hear a noise, and sure enough it’s our undercarriage dragging along the freeway. We could’ve gotten in an accident thanks to their carelessness.
I will NEVER give Jiffy Lube my service again. Not one single time have they ever put the zip ties back on right, and this time even after we made it a big point to tell them THEY HAD TO, they still didn’t. UNBELIEVABLE.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

I had a tail light out on my Toyota Avalon and swung by to see if they could fix it for me. They fixed it in less than 10 minutes (even with a line) and were super friendly and helpful. They even helped me test fixing my broken CD player by disconnecting my battery for a few minutes. Didn’t work but I thought it was super nice of them to go out of their way.

I have a 1984 300zx. They can be a little tricky when re-​attaching the oil sensor wire. I drove in and everything worked fine. I started to drive out and noticed I had no oil pressure indicator working. They pulled it back into shop and corrected the simple mistake. Thanks Guys. You were mature and Professional. See you next time.

I was in a hurry so I paid the extra $ 10 vs. the local Honda dealer for an oil change.
Uneventful is a good way to describe the process — drain oil and change filter for $ 29.
I got the usual upsell, but didn’t feel too pressured to buy them.
Overall, they were fast and courteous.
I gave them a 4 simply based on price alone. Cheaper elsewhere, but if you go during off hours, it’s a fast process.

Jack was amazing, I was in a bind and needed some help, he was able to get my car taken care of quickly. Problem solved! I have officially found a new place to take my vehicles for service needs. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything Jack!

I will never go back, first they told me I had oil in my Radiator which alarmed me so he said there was coolant in the oil, which I saw as the oil not being that black because I had just added oil so I said I will take it to a auto repair shop, then He said the clips are missing on the airbox, I told him there guys were the ones that checked it last, he looked for replacements but nothing. bottom line i took it to my mech in mount lake and he said head gasket is fine and did the oil change for $ 12 more then Jiffy lube. I will pay the extra for knowledgeable mech to work on my care

Two oil changes today. Friendly and professional staff. Quick in and out. I’ll be back.

Since I live in an apartment complex I really can’t do my own work on my cars so I option for these 30 minute lube garages. I usually don’t have any problems until I went to this location.
Aside from the usual up-​selling tactics that these garages try to push onto people, I was really shocked when they tried to straight up lie and scam me. I brought my car in before work for a quick oil change and safety check. While the car is in the shop, the technician comes running into the office and throws a radiator cap onto the desk, looks to the manager and says «seven pounds of pressure.» Then leaves.
What the fuck, I’m thinking. Then here it comes. «Sir, your radiator cap is holding only seven pounds of pressure. It needs replacing.» He says. «well, how much is that?» «Oh, just twenty-​dollars.» he replies.
Only twenty dollars? Wow. In my mind I’m thinking how this guy even got my radiator cap off without hot coolant spraying everywhere in the first place. My second thought is; I’ve never heard of a radiator cap «going bad». Is this guy serious? Do I have «idiot» written on my forehead?
I quickly declined the new radiator cap and gave the guy a look. They might be able to bamboozle some people, but I come from a long line of master mechanics in my family and this scam isn’t going to work with me.
Fucking liars.

Very professional and they handled my car respectfully. They did try the usual upsells but didn’t try to push when I passed on them.

Great service and I appreciate their honesty when giving recommendations regarding our car. It makes me feel very confident about trusting them with my car. Will definitely return!

This place is hands down the BEST place for an oil change!!! The staff is super friendly & professional. They always do a great job & don’t oversell. I won’t go anywhere else!

If you know your vehicle its a great place to get an oil change. Nice staff and very helpful, they will try to fix as much as they can depending on how much you want to spend but its worth it. Ask for John, he’s very helpful. Also come early at 8am on the weekdays for fast service!!!

Tough to get into the parking lot. Great service professional staff. Expensive but worth it. Will be back next oil change.

They were great! Awesome customer service and they didn’t pressure me to buy any extras. I would definitely recommend them.

Aquapel, I heart you.
I came in because I bought a Groupon for an oil change, new wiper blades and the Aquapel windshield treatment, I’d never had this treatment applied to my windshield but I might have to get it applied every year. It’s $ 15, repels water, and lasts about 6 months. I drove in a heavy down pour directly after leaving the store and I barely needed to run my windshield wipers, I’d say this is an extremely handy product here in the Northwest with our 9 – 12 months of rain!
Regarding the rest of the work, they did a great job vacuuming out my car and were really friendly. They didn’t have my specific windshield wipers, so they had someone deliver them while I waited, so it took about 45 minutes, not the fastest, but I knew my wiper blades were not standard, so I wasn’t surprised to hear that they didn’t have them.
