I love this store but sadly it seems to have closed. You could always find something great to wear here and the staff were friendly, low key = no sales pressure, and always had great recommendations. The store always had great jeans, jewelry, fun, frilly undies and more. I am devastated the shop closed as it was my favorite in Mill Valley. The store that took over pales in comparison.

I too was a patron of Allie G. for years. The truth is that I found wonderfully cute items there and for the longest time it was the only place I’d go for jeans as they always had the best and most popular designer brands including True Religion(TR), AG, Hudson and 1921. Here’s the problem though… THEJEANSAREFAKE. I know this for fact. First, because after two of my TR jeans lost the buttons off the back pockets I took them into the TR store in Beverly Hills and asked if they could be fixed. They assured me they could, sent them to corporate and two weeks later called me to say they had been returned unfixed because they were not authentic. Second, I wore another pair of TR jeans purchased from Allie G. into the TR store that is now in The Village and almost as soon as I entered the TR store rep told me the jeans I had on were not made by TR; he could tell from the buttons. I called corporate myself to confirm. So, IT’S A RIPOFF! Allie G. is charging designer prices for non designer jeans that don’t last. IT’S A WONDERFULLIE. If you want jeans, go to the Village. They will have the real things there.

I used to agree with the ladies below; yes, great clothes, but out of my budget. Mr. G, father of miss Allie G, recently hired a new buyer for the store. There are some great new brands in here that are very affordable, like LA Made, I just grabbed a cute thermal hoodie for $ 60!(not on sale either) and a few other things… great clothes, and denim selection. Great service too!

I love that the first time I ever went in this store, they were having an awesome sale. I love that the sale pants that I tried on, I’d tried on the day before in San Francisco for full price… I love that these $ 170 and $ 230 pants were just $ 50 each… I love that the sweet saleswoman told me which pants I tried on made my butt look the best… I loved that the saleswoman knew which brands of pants would stretch where… It’s very dangerous that I found this store because I will definitely be back every time I head into downtown Mill Valley…

What happened to all those t-shirts that I used to buy? Where did all those layering pieces go that I used to rock when I was on the East Coast and I was freezing my ass off? Where did the four shirts go? That tank top, short sleeve, three quarter, with the long sleeve over it. The ones that I needed when I walked down the street in Boston, while my California drivers license was in my pocket so that when they found me frozen to death on the side of the street from the seemingly negative 10 degree weather with windchill factor, they’d know who I am and who to call to indentify my frozen ass white tanless body? There at Allie G!!! That’s where my shirts have been hiding… Holla… Thank friggin’ god I’ve finally been able to find the perfect t-shirt. The perfect long sleeve. In the perfect light weight but warm cotton by some of the best manufacturers like Zooey from NYC. How about a little James Pearse for yo’ ass. Hmmmmm? And the nice thing is that if I don’t buy 12 of them at one time, which I’m famous for doing with the few things that I find and fall in love with, that next season the incredibly helpful staff will go ahead and SPECIALORDERIT!!! They’ll get it promptly, and efficiently, with no special order fee either. They were even willing to FedEx that shit to my hotel in Vegas when I needed my special black cotton wife beaters in order to beat the hot ass weather there… Let’s talk about another important point: I have hips, and I’ve got a booty on me that sometimes needs it’s own damn zipcode. Their pants actually fit, and not just one of them after I’ve tried on sixty pairs and I feel like I need to go on a salad diet for the next six months, but maybe four pairs fit, or even five. And they always have my favorite color in stock: black… big surprise to those that know me… as it’s the only damn color that I’ll put on myself… hey…no judgement from you my fellow peanut gallery. It’s difficult to find colors that actually match and don’t look like crap while you’re trying to rock your neon friggin’ pink rockstar hair. Support your local stores, shop where the staff actually knows what they’re talking about and they don’t just say it looks good if it doesn’t. The staff has told me many times not to buy something because it doesn’t fit right, and trust me ladies, that opinion is priceless if it’s honest… we don’t want our bootys not looking as fly as they should…

Pricey, but has cute things you would actually wear AND they carry Trina Turk! A small selection and not many things little sizes. Its a little«young» and the sales staff is nice and friendly, but not all that attentive in terms of helping you find what you’re looking for.

The clothes are cute and trendy, but everyone who shops here has to defend why it’s worth the money. Even on sale, I didn’t see anything under $ 100. I hear(from those defending why it’s worth the money) that they’re very attentive to their loyal customers, but we who just walked in off the street got a friendly but lukewarm reception.

They have a good selection of Juicy couture and when their items are on sale the mark down is very favorable. I like the selection they have here of DaNang pants. I usually amble over here when the weather turns warm to pick up the summer’s new pair of shorts. They have a small selection of jewelry but you can often find very unique items you won’t see in other shops.

Very cute, upscale yet comfortable clothing. They are all about the draw string pants and hip tank tops. They also have some stylish jewerly and lots of sexy pajamas.
