Long story short. I’m only going in there for the season sale. Clothes are too pricey. I’ve shopped in here before and most of the associates are VERY pushy, it feels extremely uncomfortable. I like when I can feel at ease when I’m shopping and they definitely don’t give me a good vibe. Every time I would pick up an item the sale associate kept insisting she put it in the dressing room. When I was ready to try things on the sale associate asked me for my purse to put behind the counter instead she put it on the floor next to my dressing room(as if I was going to steal) it was very unsettling. That’s the first time they’ve asked me to do that, not sure if it’s «new policy» or whatever ! Don’t like pushy feeling when I’m shopping like they were forcing me to buy something. It was a Weird experience. Hopefully they don’t do that shit again !

I only shop at LF for the season sales. I don’t think their clothes are worth $ 168 or whatever extraordinary amount is on the tag, but I do think they are worth the awesome price points during the season sales. I got a pair of new Jeffrey Campbell booties for $ 58 during the sale. Another awesome thing is that the price points lower as the sale continues, because they want to really get rid of everything. I suggest going in the middle of the sale, since things tend to be a little less messy in the shop. The girls have always been nice here, but could work on being more attentive. They could be a little more communicative in terms of policies, but otherwise they are fine. They do an OK job and don’t bother you while browsing. The story can be messy sometimes, but its easy to work around. The music choices are… ehh, ok. They don’t blast music so thats nice.

We worked with a nice girl at the store who was a new employee. She issued a $ 59 gift receipt per our request for two accessories we purchased as a gift for a 12-year-old. We made it clear that the items would most likely be exchanged. 30 seconds after we signed the receipt, my daughter asked if she could swap out a $ 10 bracelet for another $ 10 bracelet. The manager said no because there is a no return/exchange policy on accessories. It didn’t matter to her that we had just purchased them 30 seconds before, nor did she care that her new employee had obviously made a mistake by a) leading us to believe we could exchange the accessories and b) issuing a gift receipt. Since the accessories weren’t exchangeable, we asked for our money back. The manager refused, despite the fact that her new employee made a mistake. I chose not to take the items and contested the charge through my credit card company.(The first time I’ve ever contested a charge.) I was refunded the full $ 59. I was utterly, utterly shocked at the way the manager handled this interaction. I was flabbergasted and have never experienced anything like this. LF did not dispute my dispute which is the only good thing I can say about them.

Last weekend while visiting Mill Valley I came upon LF. I looked into the window and saw 8X11″ tables over flowing with sweaters and pants. It was the bi annual sale. Sweaters for $ 24. Not only were the sweater unique and inexpensive but I was totally won over by their amazing sales girls. Haley in particular! She is retail gem: beautiful, engaging, helpful interesting and interested. I wanted to steel her away for my business.

Great boutique with fun fashion. Nina helped me find styles — she really knew the merchandise and was fantastically helpful. Bought 11 items, so a very successful shop. Highly recommend.

Really on the edge about this place. I would never have stopped in here if they weren’t having their 60% off annual sale. Personally, I do not think that it is ever worth it to spend over $ 200 on a pair of mini shorts that will probably be out of style next year and so I don’t come here… ever. My boyfriend and I had been strolling around Mill Valley and made a random stop in here. The first thing I saw was a huge heap of clothing just thrown onto a table. Nothing in the store was folded or organized. The only things hanging were their dresses. I don’t understand how a store could be so unorganized, even if there is a sale! It was honestly kind of disgusting. But somehow I looked past it all when I spotted a pair of Jeffrey Campbell heels marked 75% off and they are still full priced at other stores. STEAL! Also dresses were marked down to $ 28 and I assume that most of them were originally over $ 150. One extra star for some of their sale prices… even though it’s like a treasure hunt trying to find nice pieces. Otherwise there isn’t much going for this place…

So LF’s clothes are adorable. Plain out adorable… For about two weeks. And then they unravel, rip, and stretch out into a piece of trash. EVERYTHING I’ve purchased there is poorer quality than Forever21 for ten times the price. Now for the customer service: Like a lot of people I’ve talked to, I seem to like shopping in peace. I like when a sales associate greets me, tells me know about new things, and lets me know she’s there if I need help. Then I want her to back the F*** away from me and stop telling me «oooohh! This will look SOOO cute on you!» or «sooooooo what are you up to today!?» or «Let me just put this in a dressing room for you.» It’s not that I’m antisocial, it’s that EVERYTIME I walk through the door I get literally ATTACKED. There’s also a young looking girl with tattoos and jet black hair who works there who is extra pushy and over the top. It’s way too obvious she’s trying to sell you things and does it in an uncomfortable fake-friendly way. I actually check the windows to see if she’s there before I go in. Basically, LF is SO overpriced, most of the associates are pushy and annoying, and the clothes are a piece of crap. DON’T GO.

The LF store, particularly in Mill Valley, has the nicest most genuine work crew who is always there to help find what looks the best on YOU. And not only are they nice, but the clothes are too! The quality is amazing and not to forget how freaking adorable everything is! It is on the more expensive side but for a great quality look that will really do you justice, it is always worth it in my book(or wallet)! I highly recommend that you go there!

During a little vacation getaway, my hubby and I traveled to North California to escape the 100 degrees of Phoenix and enjoy a bit of the fall weather. We stayed in downtown Mill Valley, a sleepy town filled with coffee shops, Italian restaurants and several clothing boutiques. As we were walking to Peet’s Coffee shop in the little downtown square, we passed by LF Store boutique. Mill Valley was having its annual Film Festival and each store’s window front was dressed up in a theme. LF’s was Rocky Horror Picture Show. Super fun! But what really caught my eye was a burgundy sweater with a huge embroidered skull head — — similar to the sugar skulls seen in Dia De Los Muertos festivities. I loved goth inspired fashion. Not Hot Topics goth, classy goth. I’ve never been to an LF Store so this was very exciting and new for me. I walked in and was greeted by Perry. She was extremely sweet and shared with me the newest arrivals and highlights of the store. She was not pushy and let me enjoy my browsing of the entire store. After picking up a few items, including the sweater, she quickly put the clothing in a dressing room so I wouldn’t have to carry items around. Her kindness and sincere customer service really made our day. Not only did I leave with the sweater but a cute envelope clutch to match. Thank you Perry for making me feel welcomed in your boutique. It’s very rare and both my husband and I left your shop feeling very special.
