I have been a model twice now for Michael who has done a fantastic job coloring my hair! Michael is so focused and truly passionate about doing a great job. The color is so even and the condition of my hair is wonderful– so soft and shiny and the color looks like it naturally grew from my head! I have been getting highlights and color for a long time – this is really the first time where I felt a colorist took my hair to another level. He was like an artist working with my hair and so focused… It is such a relief to have someone really care about what they do. I looked around a bit while my hair was being done and saw great color and cuts happening all around me too by Christopher and Angel. I don’t mean to leave any of the women stylists out but I didn’t get to see their work. I have been a color model for Michael twice(he also cuts hair) and I was treated professionally, ended up with great color and had a stellar experience from beginning to end. Michael is reaching for a level way beyond ordinary… and he’s there already!

I hate the loud music with the pounding beat. It’s not relaxing. It’s also not my idea of «energizing.» Curiously, the staff are not empowered to change it or even, apparently, to lower the volume. Two days ago, I was in the salon for 2 hours. The first hour, there was only one other customer there. The second hour, I was the only customer there. Still, the music cannot be altered — apparently it’s the dictate of the owner who wasn’t even present. To sum this up: his staff are unempowered, and his customers are disregarded. Really a fascinating business formula. I hope my stylist leaves and goes somewhere else. I’m not sure how long I will be willing to endure the loudness of this place.

A little unorganized. Charged me wrong amount for color and I almost didn’t say anything. Glad I did as they charged me $ 100 more than they should have. Nice enough staff. I got the junior stylist who seemed very inexperienced. The color was pretty good. Nothing great… No good head massage. I’ve had much better service and cuts. Would not go back.

This place is amazing!!! I drive over an hour and it is WELL worth it. Angel is the BEST at what he does and that is FANTASTICCOLOR. I trust him 100% and constantly get compliments about my healthy«natural» color and extensions. He is always happy, positive and professional. He is passionate at what he does and a perfectionist when it comes to hair and color. From the minute I walk in I’m greeted by a happy attentive staff that makes sure I am comfortable and taken care of. The salon has an open relaxed feeling and I feel pampered the moment I arrive. To top it all of I always leave feeling gorgeous! Angel I am forever grateful!

I have been going to Sonja Avallone for for 8 years and I am so happy she is working at Christopher’s. The salon is bright & cheery, everyone is super friendly. I like to have ALOT of variety when it comes to hair color. Sonja has been able to hit the mark every time(while still keeping my hair looking undamaged after all I’ve put it through). She is a wizard with hair color!

A real disappointment. I had my hair cut here when it had just reopened as Christopher Salon. It was fine and I was charged $ 45 for a gent’s cut as I have very short hair. Went back a 2nd time and it was all a bit rushed and I got charged $ 65 even though half my head was shaved with a number 3. I noticed it was a bit uneven when I got home, went away for the holidays and then tried to book in for a clean up and correction a week and a half later. Pulled up outside 5 minutes before my appointment after arranging child care and got a call saying my stylist would he 40 minutes late… I asked for a refund as 2 weeks after my hair cut my hair looks rubbish. It’s not textured and desperately needs another cut. I got a voicemail message saying they would not refund but would correct but only if I came pretty much immediately. I had plans for that day and thought it was really rude to ask me to come in yet again and say a correction could only be done on that day and no later. So disappointing as it’s a really nice shop but the service in this instance was really poor. I paid $ 65 for a really bad cut. They also don’t have a number displayed for this salon and no one appears to check messages which is annoying.
